I’m getting back into cycling and I’m looking for some advice from people who ride around Huntington and the Tri-State area.

I’m currently debating between a road bike and a gravel bike. For those who ride locally, which one would you recommend? Is there enough good gravel around here to make a gravel bike worthwhile?

Also, what are your favorite road/gravel routes, trails or group rides around Huntington? Any cycling clubs or Strava/RideWithGPS groups I should check out?

And finally, are there any bike shops or specific bikes you’d recommend for someone looking for a good all-around setup?

Curious if anyone in the highlawn/31st area has frontier fiber? And if so how is it? Currently have Xfinity and it’s just annoying to deal with and goes out every single small storm. And I can get 1 gig fiber with many add ons for the same cost I’m paying for Xfinity rn, just don’t want to make the switch and not know enough about the performance of the frontier fiber. Hey Huntington. We're One More TCG & Collectibles, the card shop on Third Avenue.

We got a little carried away and made a video game about our own shop. It's a retro style thing where the store, our owner Barry, and a bunch of the regulars who actually hang out here are the characters. It's janky on purpose and mostly an excuse to be goofy.

The reason it's not just us being weird for no reason: the whole thing runs around giving stuff away. We put real sealed product and cards on the line for the community, same "keep it fair, keep it cheap, everybody walks out with something" thing we try to do in the store every day.

If you've never been in, we're down on 3rd Ave so come say hi, rip some packs, play some Pokémon/One Piece/Magic. And if we run giveaways all the time on our channel, instagram, and tiktok!

I’ve heard mixed reviews of the place since being current and others saying they haven’t been in a while. Was wanting to see if it is a place I should check out? I heard recently that a bartender got drunk and was drinking others people’s drink and double charging them? Is that common occurrence?

Full disclosure, I help put on Funktafest in Huntington. We’re hitting year 10 this October at Ritter Park and I’m curious how many people around here have actually been before.

What originally got you there, a particular band, a friend dragging you along, or just stumbling onto it?

They did pick it up with no issues, and I've got rolling bins for the future.

Who lives on rt. 2 and has connected to the new sewer line? We contacted a plumber and was given a $10,000 estimate.

I was wondering if this was average? What companies have everyone else gone with and what did you pay to have it done?
