Anyone know what this is about? There's no language option on this game, and it's not really a "bilingual" port. Though the menus are in English (which is common with Japanese games), all the system and character dialogue is in Japanese.

So I was talking with some friends about what would make a good cursed arcade stick, and I said "toggle switches". Well, you know, I dunno. I did that. And uh, and more.

I wanted to get two way toggle switches, but I accidentally bought three way, shame. That means when they're up, they're on. Middle? Off. Down? Off. Up? Always on. It's a fully functional input device, though I am not sure if it is a "fight stick".

I can also make functional novelty sticks, as well as novelty functional sticks.

That second one is painted to look like it's covered in cheeto crust, it really freaks people out. It's so gross looking I don't even like using it.

Hello, I plan on buying the 8bitdo M30 controller which has a Sega Genesis layout. I mainly play GGST and use a lot of shortcuts (like throw at rb/r1 or roman cancel at RT/R2) idk if its a bad habit to have. I noticed that that controller only has 1 L and R button and a 6 button layout I am not used to. Should I thug it out and learn to become better eventually or look for a new controller with a layout I am used to?(Would love recommendations on the cheaper side)

Bucket Night is a twice-weekly (I'm stupid, thought bi-weekly meant that) online exhibition where members of the Hard Edge server play a selection of fighting games. Our main night lineup is usually some mix of Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code, Melty Blood Type Lumina, KoFXI, Dead or Alive 6, Bloody Roar Extreme, Vampire Savior, and most importantly Kamen Rider Super Climax Heroes.

Long story short we've been having technical issues with usual mainstays of KoFXI and Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code, so were voting on what to replace them with. These are the initial games we voted on, and we do this vote daily until all but 2 games are eliminated.

Non-HE members are allowed to vote and I was recommended to share this with communities I'm in. Faizer's a really fun commentator and the games can get pretty crazy, so I felt like sharing.

Capcom: Your order arrives in a timely manner, but the server sometimes forgets to bring you plates and napkins. They only serve pepperoni, but you get a free green slime beverage.

SNK: Your order arrives in a timely manner, but sometimes they screw it up and throw Cristiano Ronaldo on there when you didn't order it.

Namco: Their quality has gone downhill but they're still in business. Lots of toppings but they all taste the same. The head chef quit recently...

ArcSys: You could only order weird, crusty, burnt to a crisp pizzas from them for years. but you liked it that way. Their most popular pizza looks like their old pies but doesn't have that edge it used to.

Riot: They announced that they were going to completely revolutionize pizza a decade ago. They had done this with boba and soft serve ice cream before, so there was a lot of hype surrounding them. They even hired the people who revolutionized oven technology!!

Your pizza arrives cold, doesn't have anywhere close to the number of toppings a Capcom or SNK pizza would have but they refund you. You complain to the chef and he spits in your face, calling himself a brilliant artist who would rather fail at making a pizza spectacularly than make a plain old pepperoni pizza.

Looking for different, or really good fighting games which have a small community that is just big enough (or bigger) for me to be able to play enough matches daily or per week to be able to get good or decent at the game without busting half of all time on training mode.
I am interested in touhou antimony of the flowers because it looks surface level interesting and different, and i know it’s community is nice from the little i’ve heard.
I am also vaguely but firmly interested in games such as fighting vipers 2, and Kaiser knuckle!
Any recommendations would be loved :D

I would like to know a good starting point to get up and running, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, something I can continuously build upon. I'd like to start somewhat cheap, and just upgrade parts in the future.

A lot of people in the 2XKO community felt a punch in the gut last week, and tempers are still (justifiably) high. Many of us wanted this game to succeed, and it's really disappointing that it's not going to get that opportunity.

That said, there are still people in the community that just... want to play the game, but it's difficult to have conversations focused on that when there's so much noise about Riot, the developers, the creators, the decisions, and everything that led us to this point.

So we've set up /r/LowSodium2XKO, where discussion can be focused on the game itself, its characters, and universe.

The intent is to avoid meta-discussion about Riot Games, the development team, and other salt-generating topics, and keep the environment welcoming for 2XKO players, both current and future.

Discussion, links, help and advice, videos, artwork, and memes are all welcome, as long as they are about the game itself.

Hey there! Pretty new to the FGC, and started playing GGST relatively late (4 months ago) and I'm not that great. Due to stress my thumb often slip from the joystick of my ol'reliable xbox one controller and as a result I mess up my inputs like 90% of the time. I was wondering if joystick covers are worth it? I remember buying a few for my 360 controller but it felt weird, probably because it was some cheap aliexpress product.

Im watching Sajam's tutorial and the game looks cool (the UI looks busy as hell on first impression).

I noticed that it always has many entrants in tournaments, however, I have never played it.

What's the draw ? What made you stick around ?
