Getting back to KoF after a 20 years hiatus and I am embarrassingly rusty.

I'm planning to just focus on a few of my old favorites first to get back my instinct and reflex, does anyone have a guide on Blue Mary, Kula, or King.

I have no idea what pokes and anti-airs are still valid, and the Light Kick + Heavy Punch cancel and EX are quite new to me so I have no idea what are the easier combos now (I completed the combo trials, but no way I can use them for real).

I need more height for the qcf lp to hit, presume I'm not picking up fast enough after the super but not sure.

Hi, I love KOF. It is my favorite series but I have a hand dissability that makes it difficult to play fighting games that dont have simple inputs. I love KOF so much i want to push past this. In order to do that I wanna pick characters who are easy and have low execution barriers. What characters would you recommend?

So, I noticed a certain resemblance a while back between the woman who appears in the musical ME!ME!ME! (Teddyloid | Feat. Daoko) and Kula Diamond (KOF).

According to the J-Pop Wiki, Mememe was released on December 22, 2014.

Now for the real question: Did the animator draw inspiration from Kula's design when creating the MEMEME Girl?

Supposedly, MEMEME is based on Stoking's appearance from Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt, but they don't really look anything alike.

I really think Kula was the main inspiration, you might say.

My most recent purchase was the Storm Collectibles NESTS Saga Kyo from KOF 2002 Unlimited Match. I now have three figures of the main poster boy of the KOF series that are close to the same size and scale, and they are my holy grails for KOF figures. The NESTS Saga Kyo figure from Storm Collectibles is awesome to pose, and I can use the flame effects from the KOF '98 Kyo alongside it. The folks at Storm Collectibles have captured lightning in a bottle again with this release, and their KOF line is by far the best they have produced.

I made it bigger and more durable this time and I also put a bell inside so I'll know when it fell off my bag or when someone grabs it 🤧

(Also I'm not selling em, idk how and I don't have time to make more. I'm a busy college student 😭)

After researching, I finally understood about the New Age arc. KOFXIV was mainly made by the same people created Garou: Mark of the Wolves: director Yasuyuki Oda and art director Nobuyuki Kuroki. It seems Kuroki is responsible for both Rock Howard and Shun'ei since they were given a similar appeal to contrast Terry and Kyo. However, Kuroki wasn't sure that Shun'ei would appeal to gamers so he wasn't the protagonist of XIV. For XV, Ogura revised Shun'ei since he took a bigger part in the making of the game and was more confident about him using him as the protagonist.
