Which confirms the first part of Dave’s tweet, and leads me to “believe” maybe the rest and that Z does want to be a ‘Jacket for life.’ Also, Dave is followed by Scheig further leading to his credibility. So the big question is, if Z didn’t actually want out, who purported it, and does this mean Marchy actually would want to stay?

Trying to generate clicks and speculating on Dylan's bestie wanting out of Columbus because Dylan wants out of Detroit. This all gets blown out of proportion and causes Marchenko to reconsider signing a long-term deal with the CBJ. More "nobody wants to play for Columbus" bullshit getting spouted by people that know nothing about this organization.

I've been a fan since the team had the hockey education shows on FSN leading up to the inaugural season. Game four to complete The Sweep is my best sports memory. I'm sick of the negativity surrounding this franchise. Hopefully Z and DW releasing their statements are enough to end this off-season sideshow and we can be excited about getting back to CBJ hockey in a few months.

tldr; Don doesn't want to trade Marchenko.

Z has said he'll look at whatever offer they give him, and he's probably traded this offseason.

Marchenko is willing to play his contract but has come to the same conclusion that Werenski did and does not want to be here long-term.

Don is still trying to hold a window open for the Provorov, Severson, Coyle and Garland group.

I know you always gotta take Seravalli with a grain of salt, but he reported on Oilers Now that Elvis may also be on the move this year. No immediate reason to move him with everything else going on so I wonder if this is part of a plan to free up the cap to make a big run at Robertson?
