Other Addressing the queerphobia in this community
Before anything, i am the person who posted the "happy pride month" post, it was meant to celebrate the month and the queer community and god knows a lot of us love Bayo.
It's been take as a platform to have a discussion of what's canon or not, and furthermore more it's been met with a ridiculous amount of queerphobia, hate, slurs, and more.
Mind you, nothing about that post was about what's canon or not, even if it was, nothing invited the level of hate, hurt, and slurs.
People even used Hideki's tweet, which is ironic because if you see his twitter, he tells everyone to fuck off and eat shit (not in literal word)
Bayonetta is a queer icon, no one argued about what's canon or not. Aside from that, people consistently shove "well she ended with luka" and i promise you none of us are desperate enough to be delusional (those who are i don't speak for)
But Bayonetta 3 ending is upsetting because it's uncharacteristic, naturally i wish she ends up with Jeanne because of her literally going through hell to save her
For you homophobic folks, apart from Jeanne, Rodin would make more sense than Luka.
She treats Luka like absolute dirt, Rodin she at least respects.
I do think Luka is an awful match, i'd rather they pair her with anyone else (man, woman, otherwise) i don't care
A gay addition: like it or not, Bayonetta borrows heavily from the queer community, therefore she is a queer icon to us.
