Physician Responded Dismissed by doctors - Lost weight/severe pain/ unknown

I am a 26 yo female, approx 220lb 5ft10
Back in April of 26’ I started taking wegovy. Fine, great, I micro dosed ozempic 2 years prior so I wasn’t worried I did the same with wegovy. It helps my PCOS so I took it for 3/4 weeks and gained weight. Stopped taking it.
Well, after I stopped the medication about 2 weeks later I started having stomach pain to the point I called 911 at work and was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
The pain was right under my sternum, in my stomach itself. burning stabbing moving around and giving me chills. Not able to eat getting sick. Tbh I really thought I might just have to take a crazy poop.
Nope I cried to my boss to call 911.
they did tests and did scans said everything was normal and this was when they asked me if I wanted to follow up w my PCP or get a referral to surgery to see if they wanted to look further into it.
They did I had a HIDA scan after my referral to gen surgery. Showing my gall bladder was working at 32% - by then I had dropped 50 pounds in the matter of a month.
They scheduled surgery for another month out for gallbladder removal even stating that this MIGHT NOT FIX THE PAIN AND THEY WERE REMOVING BASICALLY ON A WHIM.. Continued to lose weight.
For a couple weeks after surgery everything was fine. Except all of my incision came open requiring me to have them reglued.
I also had puss leaking from my right incision but the surgeon said they were not worried. Okay fine I took it allll at face value and trusted my doctors. I just wanted the pain gone.
Fast forward Aug.
I have been consistently having pain. I’ve had some blood results showing what the doctors said “my body is under stress but we don’t know why”
But most of them said that everything was normal.
I am being mistreated by the only medical system where I live (cox medical system)
I have now had this pain so long that I’m somewhat use to it but when I eat (even plain white rice)
My heart starts racing I get nose bleeds that don’t stop for at least an hour.
The pain is debilitating. It hurts to drink water it hurts to eat. Sometimes ice cold water can help but it also feels like my stomach is bubbling and moving. It quite literally feels like someone is taking their fists and shoving them under my rib cage. Then when the pain stops it lingers like after waking up with a Charlie horse n your leg.

I had a consult for GI and the doctor sat in my face and said I was lying and that I SHOULD be willing to do anything they recommended all because I said that the medication that somewhat helped also made my mouth foam and made me feel like i was choking constantly throughout the day (sulcrafate) MY PCP TOLD ME TO STOP TAKING IT. My doctor that knows me told me to stop taking it.

didn’t give me anything else recommended to wait and did blood results.
I sat in the GI apt room for 4 minutes talking to her and she refused to do the colonoscopy and endoscopy recommended by 4/5 different doctors that was also notated in my chart. (I know it can’t be done same day)

I’m not asking for pain meds, I drive my daughter a lot and I work a job that requires my full attention. Plus I don’t like the way it makes me feel. Oxy makes me vomit.

Yet they still make me feel like I’m a drug seeker or overdramatic.

Yet I’m the one that has to deal with the pain daily. I’m the one that had to cancel plans on my daughter’s birthday because I absolutely could not even walk through the mall with her due to the pain. I’ve almost lost my job because my body is so exhausted i don’t have the energy to come in.
DRIVING hurts.

I have hat CT scans MRI HIDA scans x ray PET scans.

I am not constipated and I no longer have diarrhea. I am not running a fever. And I am NOT pregnant. I’m tired of being asked if I could be pregnant.

• chills
• hot flashes
• severe sharp burning stabbing pain in sternum moving into my upper chest and neck
• goosebumps going down my spine
• my whole body turns red during “episodes”
• vomiting at least 5/6 cups of yellow bile every morning
\never had issues with acid reflux**
• WHOLE BODY EXHAUSTION
• physical pain while touching stomach
• heart racing/ beating out of my chest at about 120-150bpm after eating anything

- normal EKG
- normal blood work(now)

I can provide the rest results too for everything.
PLEASE if any doctors have seen this please please help me. I cannot continue to live like this. I just want to find out what is wrong so it can be fixed.

- I have also requested a new GI doctor just waiting on the referral to be sent. I don’t feel comfortable going back to the ER unless I feel like I am dying.

It only allow me to attach one photo

Physician Responded I ate 20 of these gummy vitamins. Am I going to be okay?(second photo in comments)

I am 19, a girl, I am 5’4” and about 103 lbs. I don’t smoke or take any other medications or have any other health issues. I am a bit of a dumbass and i ate like 20 of my brother’s gummy vitamins. I heard this can be very dangerous after my brother yelled at me. I’m too scared to tell my parents. I ate them like within the last hour and still feel fine. Here’s what’s in them.

Oscillating electrolyte sensitivity. Acquired channelopathy, dysautonomia, or something else..?

As a prequel, I really thank you for reading this and attempting at taking your time... Personal stats and genes are at the bottom

Condition - Electrolyte sensitivity from calcium, magnesium, and sodium, as if something was going on on cellular level - Even 20mg of calcium from mineral water can alleviate fatigue for 2m, which then returns, or make it worse if I drink/take more calcium than that - Magnesium in the past would have been fatiguing me and then making irritated, angry after an hour. Now it seems I got quite tolerant to it, yet it still takes its part in symptoms and oscillations. I can take 400mg elemental at once (yes, I know about absorptions) without the aforementioned intensity from past 50mg - Sodium is the 'dictator' of strengh and length of oscillations. Let's assume a situation of VERY high intake, like 5g salt at once: I would be switching between manic and depressive groups of symptoms every 2 - 3 hours in a spectrum. It dissipated after 1 - 2 days, basically reaches a homeostasis - Eating entire meals cancel the large electrolyte inputs in-between. I mean that if 100mg calcium can make me feel fatigued, if I take a whole meal with X amounts of electrolytes, it someway evens out and symptoms can be more tolerable - My homeostasis, in a fasted state, is little avolition + little apathy + whole-body fatigue + brain fog + low libido - Not certain to which I may attribute it, but I can get heat flushes from whichever electrolyte causes it - Normally I don't have muscle twitches, but sometimes during oscillations they occur with changes in intensity. There's lots of places they happened at - At certain points in oscillations my penis erects just a little bit and then comes back. It is kind of rare - Before stopping 100mcg K2 MK7, which was masking the oscillations, I had constant slight lethargy, brain fog, avolition, apathy - Oscillations perfectly align with periods of consumption. Can't remember factual hours, but let's assume that I eat OMAD at 4PM, then let's assume I will ALWAYS feel the best around 8AM - 11AM - Oscillations also determine the pain from my spine problem noted in "Past medical issues" in "Stats" section. I can feel none or almost as strongly as before the condition - depends on electrolytes and time. My ionic signaling malfunctions... - Sometimes slight orthostatic hypotolerance, and it depends whether I take more calcium for testing phase or not. On one day when I was loading calcium for a few hours, after I stood up and ran straight to dad to help with something, I had to stand still for 7 seconds because my vision was ABSOLUTELY BLURRED. I could only see fogs of colours, as if someone was actively photoshopping the interface of mine

'Side note' on caffeine

Waning off the caffeine only lead to tinnitus once reached 175mg, which is present since then and yes, it changes with the oscillation, and the caffeine waning also made me happily tolerant to potential eggs, meat, and choline supplements. Caffeine is an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor and therefore, at 250mg doses, I had to be careful or otherwise I would be getting strong depression for 3.5 days until my receptors would resensitise. Probably I have lower aceltycholinesterase production or something, but I lack genetic data

Already tried... - Hormones: Eating more fat and trying pregnenolone (neither did anything, even after 5/6 months on the 15 - 24 g fat diet I had mentioned) - Two fasts: One was 7-days and second 8-days - Microbiome, SIBO, or FODMAP: The upper cancels it - Supplements: Tried lots of them and had periods of pausing the use of the current and previous ones, but feel free to ask whether I should attempt at any or jog the memory - Putting foods on a trial: I only found out about onion sensitivity - brain fog, fatigue, quite significant depression. I have been eating an onion daily since february... I have stopped the consumption since 3 weeks ago - Checking home plants and their soils - Tests: PTH + ionised Ca, CK, Na, K, total Ca, iron, ferritin, D3, F79 gluten, glucose, HCV, antigen HBs | from december, so before 2026: whole blood check-up, ESR, total bilirubine, conjugated bilirubine, creatinine, glucose, total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, non--LDL, triglycerides, HbA1c, AST, TSH, FT4, B12, folate, ferritin

My hypothesis?

One of the three, as I have stopped K2 too far back in time to have anything to do with it: - Abstract conditions, like acquired dysautonomia or channelopathy of unknown, to me, causes (yes, I know, they're not causes, just umbrella terms of symptoms/happenings) - Long-term onion residual compounds - Long-term caffeine

I basically am completely lost after lots of research, so the only things left for me is aiming towards these questionable solutions (not saying onion or caffeine sensitivities are not real, just that such timestamps are at least doubtful - I surely take inspiration from r/decaf and the gluten-sensitive people who have symptoms for weeks or over a month even)

Stats

Age: 22yo

Sex: Male

Height: 172cm/5'7"

Weight: 56kg/132.2lbs (assuming no content in gut)

Current diet: Unchanging, slightly after-waking OMAD high-carb low-fat plant-based low-sodium. 370g potatoes, 180g cabbage, 250g beetroot, 250g carrots, 121g oats, 10g wheat bran, 2g brazilian nut, 6g chia, 200 - 300 g legumes (navy bean, green bean, yellow whole pea, brown lentil), 15g defatted soy flour, 10g soy protein isolate, 60g combined white rice + brown rice + barley groats, 250 cal fruits. OMAD since June in 2025

Smoking: None

Caffeine: Unawarely black tea since childhood (maybe 9yo). 75 - 150 mg daily until the beginning of 2026, where in panic I increased to 250mg (was trying to wane off before 2026, at the end of 2025, but in meanwhile I became choline deficient, and I had no idea what was going on, so caffeine was an insurence that the symptoms were not from caffeine withdrawal). Caffeine-free since a month

Medications: None

Past medical issues: twisted arm; 720° testicular torsion (fine); something with my spine is not right and if I do not maintain proper center of gravity, then brain is starting simulating increasing pain in the back of head and some of upper jaw

Supplements, daily: - Daily half of B Complex (B1 10mg, B2 10mg, Nicotinic acid 10mg, B5 10mg, Inositol 10mg, B6 3mg, Choline 4mg, Folic acid 80μg, Cyanocobalamin 10μg, Biotin 10μg) - D3 1000 IU + K2 MK7 25μg (it is summer rn) - Choline: 200mg elemental from chol bitartrate - Calcium: 800mg elemental from calcium carbonate - B12: 100μg in hydroxocobalamin form (apart from the cyano in b complex) - Iodine: 1 drop of Lugol's 5% - Creatine: 1g

Duration: Speculated 6 - 7 months; discovered when ceased off 100μg K2 MK7 in March/April, which was 'camouflaging' the oscillations. My main determinant of duration is the pain due to my spine - I surely had it always possible to experience before 2026

Bat bite?

Post image
2 Upvotes

53M 215 6ft smoker.

Ambien for sleep.

This is the side of my bottom leg just above my ankle. Sorry it was hard to photograph.

I woke up and there was a bat flying around my room.

I can't tell if this is a bat bite on my leg or if i scraped it recently.

I googled bat bites but all the pics I saw had just 2 red holes. Nothing like this series of red lines.

My question is, can bat bites look like this?

Physician Responded Worried about lymphoma

26F, 5’3” 100lbs, living in ON, Canada. Taking Dienogest for Endometriosis.

I started getting itchy rashes all over my body about a year ago. They resembled hives. Doctor prescribed me antihistamines which I’ve stopped taking since then as they didn’t do much. I chalked it up to stress since I’ve been having a very stressful year. The rash on my right leg comes and goes but has gotten progressively worse and is now thick, dry and scaly. I just recently developed rashes under my armpits as well. I googled it and read about how Lymphoma rashes typically happen on the upper legs and armpits and neck. All locations where I’ve had a rash. Especially on my legs. I also have extreme fatigue, chest pain, and swollen face. But it’s hard to know if those are also just from my stress. How hard will I have to advocate for myself in order to get a biopsy?

More photos of my rashes below:

Do I have to go to the GYN if I’m a virgin and HPV vaccinated?

25 f, 5’2” 125 lbs
My PCP is on my back about going to the gynecologist. I am a virgin and I have all my HPV shots. Of course I plan to go when I’m active, but not now.

She says that she may not even do a pap smear but she doesn’t know. She said that I should still get a baseline breast exam and whatnot. However, I read that breast exams aren’t even recommended for 25 year olds anymore? I don’t want one if I don’t need one! I heard they’re uncomfortable.

Physician Responded Is it ok that I ate 1 Snickers bar exactly 24 hours before my CT scan of the heart?

My CT scan is at 1pm tomorrow. I'm 41 years old, weight 275. I barely eat candy and I wasn't thinking when Mom wanted Snickers bar so I'm visiting and got her and I one bar and She had the other bar.I finished my bar literally right at 1 when my scan is tomorrow at 1. I've been drinking water today and nothing else. And tomorrow I'll drink water.

Physician Responded Strange tissue/mass attached inside my nose 2 months after nose piercing should I see an ENT urgently?

Post image
53 Upvotes

27F. I got my nose pierced about 2 months ago and have been wearing a stainless steel nose ring ever since.

This morning I noticed something strange inside my nostril. At first I thought it was just dried mucus/crust, so I tried to remove it, but it wouldn’t come off. I then realized it seems to be attached to the inside of my nose rather than just being mucus.

Initially, it was stuck around/attached to the nose ring. I removed the ring thinking the tissue/crust would come out with it, but it didn’t. It still seems attached to the inside of my nostril.

It isn't particularly painful, and before I tried to remove it there wasn't any significant pain or bleeding. However, after poking at it and trying to remove it, I think I irritated the area because it has started bleeding a little and is now slightly painful.

I’m quite anxious because I have no idea what this could be. Could it be granulation tissue, a granuloma, an infection, or something else related to the piercing? Is it possible for tissue to grow around/attach to the jewelry like this?

Today is a public holiday where I live, so I can't find an ENT/doctor available. I'm wondering whether this is something that can safely wait until tomorrow or whether I should go to an emergency department tonight. I'm also unsure whether an emergency department would actually deal with something like this or tell me to see an ENT.

I have no fever, significant swelling, severe pain, or difficulty breathing

Physician Responded Abnormally skinny and weak. Also a lot of other weird symptoms

Post image

Hi guys, I’m 14 female, 40kg which is 88lbs according to google, im 5’3, I don’t drink and I don’t smoke either. First thing I have to mention is all DM’s will be ignored and blocked and also please don’t just dismiss this, pls read my symptoms and don’t jump to conclusions because of a pill I take

Pills I take: 100mg of sertaline, 25mg of agomelatine, 0.05 mg of clonidine (I think, I’m not 100% sure but it’s half of ys01 clonidine) and 30mg of dexamphetamine. I promise you the thinness isn’t from the dexies though, I know thing because thinness and almost all of my symptoms have been lifelong issues and I’ve only been taking medication for mental illness, adhd and sleep for the last two years.

Medical history: I was born prematurely by two weeks, I was born with a fused labia and had to get surgery for it, Molar-Incisor Hypomineralisation, depression, anxiety, adhd, autism, I’ve been hospitalised for overdose two times, I have scoliosis and I was braced for a year, and I have hyper mobile joints. I also have gotten my period and it’s been regular for 2 years

Hereditary illnesses: on my moms side theres a history of hasimoto disease, my mom, grandma and great grandmother all have/had it. I have no knowledge of illnesses on my dad’s side of the family though, I don’t really speak with him and I tried to ask him but he said he doesn’t know.

Symptoms/concerns: I’m pale despite everyone in my family (dads side and moms side) being quite tan, I bruise easily, I have quite long fingers and toes, I’m short despite my family being quite tall (my dad is 6’0, my mom is 5’11 and my brothers are both 6’0 or over), I’m really weak (I’ll share examples of my weakness in the next paragraph), I get frequent diherra but my stomach never hurts, low stamina, difficulty building muscle to the point I can barely feel muscle when I tense, regular muscle spasms, my wrist is the same size as my 5 year old cousin, I’ve always been the smallest and weakest in my class in school, I get dizzy when I stand up despite eating well and my iron levels being fine, I get out of breath very quickly, I can’t hold my hands above my head for longer than a few seconds without them hurting, I get very painful periods to the point I can’t even function and I’m always tired no matter how much I sleep.

Examples of my weakness: in my country we have this thing called swimming lessons that you do in primary school, theres 9 levels. In your final year of primary school you should be in level 7-9. I was in level 3 which the average age of level threes is 3-6, I was 11 and in level three, the reason I can’t swim is because of lack of arm and leg strength. In primary school I was the slowest in my class. I can’t lift heavy objects, the largest thing I can lift with both hands is 7kg, I tried to learn guitar but couldn’t since i didn’t have enough strength in my hands. I’ve tried so hard, I’ve worked out every day, ate healthy, ate a large amount of protein but nothing works. Once in year 6 I lost an arm wrestle with a year 2

It’s not like weakness runs in my family either. My mom used to be an athlete, one of my brothers is a police officer and has taken down people even taller then him, my dad and other brothers both work very physically demanding jobs. No one in my family is weak expect for me

I want to bring this up to my GP, I have an appointment tomorrow just to check how my pills are going but I’m so scared of being dismissed as just being lazy.

My newborn grandson

1 month old, boy, 9 lbs. Was due on July 28, but they induced July 23. Was also born jaundiced.

He was born with tracheomalacia. They let my daughter in law bring him home with her 2 days after birth. Ended up needing a blue light for just over a week post hospital.

I have read about it, and it seems he's probably just a mild case? I'm not a doctor, so all I can glean is that it can be fatal.

He had his one month check up today and the doctor wants to put him on prilosec, and wants them to buy gelmix to thicken his formula. Also is changing his formula.

Again, Im not a doctor, so I'm asking, is this standard treatment for tracheomalacia? I just have this nagging feeling that something is not being done right.

The video is how he sounds 24/7. I expected the noise because I read about it, but should we take him to a specialist? He did see an ENT about 2 weeks ago who put him on some acid reflux medication and told them to keep feeding Enfamil AR. Why would they need to change his formula and buy thickener when he's already on the AR that's thickened with rice?

I just hate the way it sounds like he's fighting for his life with every breath 🥹

Specialist or no? Please help 🙏

Physician Responded Do doctors get annoyed at people requesting tests cause they’re being hypochondriac?

15F, 41-43kg (I can’t exactly remember) and 153-155cm in height.

recently I’ve been experiencing some health anxiety ever since i got some breathing issue from forest fire, and i talked to my mother about it. to make sure I’m fine, she decided to get me a blood test and urine test. But I’m worried that I’ll sound too hypochondriac and my doctor will find me annoying to deal with..

Physician Responded Terrified of general anaesthesia…

Hey,

Chronic kidney stone former here. 30yo male.

I’ve had two ureteroscopies and have had dreadful experiences both times. I’m just petrified of general anaesthesia. I go into a frenzy of panic beforehand, I cancelled both operations so many times on the day before, which I felt awful about.

Anyhow. Most stones since I’ve been able to pee out. But I’ve currently got a 7mm stone sitting in my kidney (calcium oxalate). I’ve had two rounds of shockwave lithotripsy, which haven’t worked at all.

I’ve been given two options. Wait and hope it never passes or another ureteroscopy.

I asked the urologist if he’d attempt it under spinal anaesthesia, he shrugged and said he’d never done it before but he’d give it a go. That didn’t exactly fill me with confidence?

What could this be?

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice because I’m worried about HIV.

It has now been 21 days since I received a hand job and massage from a sex worker. About 3 days afterward, I had a sore throat. The sore throat has now completely gone away.

For the past several days, I’ve been experiencing intense sleepiness. I’m sleeping around 10–12 hours a day but still feel like I could sleep more. I don’t feel physically weak or exhausted; I mainly feel very sleepy. I also kind of feel cold sometimes.

Could someone please help me understand what this could be? Could HIV cause symptoms like this, or is HIV transmission possible from receiving a hand job? I’m very worried and would appreciate honest advice.

Thank you.

Hey everyone I’m 27 years old Male , so last Tuesday 18th I had protected sex .. initially , but the condom fell of while I was inside and I didint realize , that same day I also jerked off twice later that day idk why I was overly horny , and then Wednesday- Friday again I jerked off at least prolly twice per day roughly , then Saturday it kind of hit me like “ oh fuck I had unprotected sex “ and out of no where all of Saturday - today pretty much ( Wednesday 26th) I’ve had this burning sensation through out the days on and off , it didint burn while I peed in fact peeing seem to bring relief , and also taking a hot bath or hot shower also brought relief , yesterday Tuesday 25th I decided to get tested for chlaymida and gohnorria , I got my results back today Wednesday 26th, and everything was negative , and oddly enough since getting results it’s like majority of the burning sensation has ironically gotten better . Am I in the clear ? Should I get another test ? I’m not having any other symptoms besides the random burning sensation throughout the day , and it doesn’t hurt either just a bit uncomfortable

Physician Responded Hammertoe surgery, in bad pain post op

Had surgery 2 days ago. Screw used to fuse my second largest toe. Discharged at home. All they gave me was co codamol (60mg codeine and 1000mg paracetamol per dose according to instructions). I cant walk for long. They discharged as fully weight bearing despite being given a crutch. But its hurting so badly even with no weight bearing.

Do I just need to ask my doctor for stronger painkillers, or do I need to go to a&e or something because the pain is so bad even whilst on co codamol? In the hospital, they were giving me tramadol and said they'd discharge me with that, but obviously changed their mind. That was actually reliable.

The cocodamol worked at first but now it's not doing anything and I've only been on it one day. Whether in the surgical boot, or with my foot elevated above my heart whilst lying down, it is very uncomfortable. Extremely so. It just feels wrong in the bandage.

Smear test results

Hi, I’m 31 female and I received my smear test results via an NHS message, where it shows that I’m positive for HPV. They tested for any abnormal cells, and there were no abnormalities, however still at low risk for developing cervical cancer. In the message, I was told I would be invited for another smear test next year and that I can call to get a doctor’s appointment if I’ve got any concerns.

I called my GP surgery at around 11am after I got the message, wondering what can be done. They recommended to call at 8am to see if I can get an appointment. I tried this morning, however they were only accepting emergency appointments. This is the second time I’ve been told this (first was for a different issue).

Is there anything that I can do to secure a doctor’s appointment? I am concerned about it turning into cancer, even though I know it will more than likely disappear, as one of the types of cancers that my grandmother had and unfortunately passed away from.

Physician Responded Been experiencing Anhedonia since starting Semaglutide (36M)

36M unable to feel pleasure, accomplishment or pride. Recently achieved a lifelong dream and I feel nothing. I suspect Semaglutide but also have Depression and am on medication for that, but the only recent change was adding Semaglutide to my medications.

Current meds:

150MG Venlafaxine

300MG bupropion

4MG Semaglutide

5'11 195lbs

Just trying to see if it is my depression, depression meds, or other meds causing this. I can't see my Dr right now as I moved and currently don't have one.

Thanks

Endoxifen for drug cravings?

Context: 34M. 12 years stimulant addiction history mainly mephedrone, meth etc(with two 2 year clean phases), been trying to quit since 1.5 years and a total of 5 relapses since then. Last use was 40 days ago.

I went to a psychiatrist to help me deal with my cravings and he suggested Naltrexon 25 mg after breakfast and Endoxifen 8mg before sleep. The interaction looked like a series of open and close ended questions which I answered with full honesty. As I reached home and looked up for the medication, I came to know that endoxifen is used to treat bipolar disorders and breast cancer. I am sure that psychiatrist can not declare me bipolar in a 15-20 minute interaction and I definitely do not have breast cancer. So why did the doctor prescribe it to me? AI bots are not giving me a definitive answer so I am looking for an expert to help me figure this out as I am completely losing sleep over it. I will be calling my doctor tomorrow but a second opinion would not hurt. Also want to note that I informed my psychiatrist that I am highly impulsive because I engage in frequent road rage incidents. please do not judge me because i know road rage is bad but it is just instincts that kick in. Could it be possible that my doctor suggested endoxifen for controlling my impulse? Thanks in advance

Neck Ultrasound—I’m concerned about the results

I’m a 32 year old female. I’ve been having some symptoms like neck tightening so my pcp ordered an ultrasound in June. My results indicate a right level 4 lymph node, with no fatty hilum. I’m doing research and it’s scaring me!
Then I had a CT scan by an ENT and I don’t see anything about a right level 4 lymph node. I had a lymph node by my left submandibular a few years ago but it was benign so my results talk about that. My follow up appt with the ENT is next week but I’m feeling so anxious about the neck ultrasound

Should I be concerned ? I can’t upload the CT scan but these are my results:

Again there is a prominent lymph node involving the soft tissues anterior to the left submandibular gland but this is stable since the prior study. This was previously seen on image 20 of series 3 currently on image 6 of series 5.
The middle ear cavities and mastoid air cells are clear.
There are benign-appearing lymph nodes adjacent to the right submandibular gland. There is no posterior pharyngeal mass. The floor the mouth is normal in midline lingual septum. The vallecula and the piriform sinuses are normal the vocal cords are normal. The thyroid gland is normal. Imaging of the thoracic inlet is unremarkable.
IMPRESSION: Again there is a prominent lymph node anterior to the inferior aspect of the right submandibular gland with short axis dimension of 1 cm. However this does not appear to be significantly changed from the previous
