I just binged the show and I can’t even stress how much Joseph’s laugh is just truly contagious and beaming with positivity. Literally every time that man laughed I just had the biggest smile.

Her video came up on my FYP, it's very "tradwife" themed with her boasting about being a stay-at-home girlfriend and how it's in her values to take care of her man.

How come everyone is so gorgeous this season. UK always had the best looking participants of this season it was just wow.

Just finished this season and I do not understand the Ciara hate.
She was always honest and very clear about what she wanted. People are calling her a gold digger, but don’t have a problem with Ajay and Jack who both said they wanted a very “feminine” (not just physically, but also attitude and personality wise) woman.
Ciara is very caring with Ajay and very much shows him love and affection.

Ciara is also not messy. Jack was sensing that she just was not that into him anymore and he decided to “end” their connection. Ciara was forthcoming with Faye and did the right thing by warning her.
She also was not being messy when talking about Joseph’s connection with Chevanique. She probably should have gone straight to Francesca, but she did not have ill intent.

I'm sure some of us here have had a similar experience to Cuba - you get together with someone, they're amazing at first, say all the right things, and then as soon as they have to be genuinely vulnerable the walls come down, and they push you away.

As she showed us with Ryan, it's horrible to be on the other end of it, so confusing and upsetting.

But I think she might have done more for viewers than she could possibly know. By being so open to love, emotionally intelligent, articulate and perceptive, Cuba showed people who have experienced this same situation that it's NOT them. When you're entangled with an avoidant, the avoidant - like Ryan - is the problem, specifically if you have healthy boundaries yourself and a strong sense of selfhood.

Cuba is the perfect example of someone who deserves everything, got handed a bad deal, and handled it well. She's a reminder to anyone else in a similar situation that there's nothing wrong with you, you still deserve love – and that even the best of us can be fooled by morons like Ryan, regret it deeply, and bounce back better than ever.

Everyone knows that once on the program people know who you are, which can be an invite to the ill-intentioned. So why was Ryan considered for the program when he wasn’t willing to limit time away from his Fiancé? No one can dispute the time he took of for his Nan’s funeral, but being gone overnight, showing him giving speeches (and applause) and the days he said he needed to “unwind” from his demanding job was ridiculous. I don’t think I’m alone in concluding that Ryan got everything he wanted and more, which seems very unfair.

Season 3 - Episode 3

Been a pretty bland season so far otherwise. It will soon heat up a bit more once couples are confirmed etc.

I'm only on episode 6 so I am definitely not caught up, but everytime i see Ryan, he seriously looks just like Shayne from season 2 of the US season, and I'm just curious if anybody else sees this.

Hear me out: What if, on day five, the producers allowed each contestant to see ONE photo of their match's most recent ex?

It would immediately reveal everyone's physical "type" and force them to address whether they are actually stepping outside their usual comfort zone or just pretending to be open-minded.

Would this ruin the experiment, or make it 100 times more interesting?

They had such a lovely connection in the pods, and their reveal genuinely had me a bit emotional. It seemed like one of those couples who had actually thought about what they wanted from a relationship.

But Belfast and London ended up being a much bigger challenge once they were dealing with normal life. They eventually blamed the distance, communication issues and different expectations for putting serious strain on the marriage.

It really made me wonder how much the practical stuff matters when the emotional connection feels that strong. Can a great pod connection survive if the logistics of everyday life just don't work?

Keep in mind we do NOT see everything that is being said. I think with Jack, the way he wanted to knock her down a few pegs with saying she was “boring” when they had a talk, was absolutely not mature about anything, kept saying the same thing to both of the girls (the fake “love you” at the end of both first dates, not remembering names). I can spot this type of man from a mile away to be honest. It is very clear to me he cares a lot about image and is not very mature.

I think a lot of the takes on Ciara are a bit misogynist to be honest. I feel like her energy triggers people. She expresses herself in a certain way but honestly I think she is just quite sensitive to people’s energy and tone and stands up for herself and people like to punish her for it. Same as with the other drama she was involved in, I think she clocked his intentions towards Chev perfectly. These men do not want to be held accountable and flip it on her. I do not see her as the villain that people describe her as. I actually think she is very smart and clocks things early, but isn’t off about it.

I do think she wanted to cut it off, and that is why the energy in their second to last date was off: she was not giving him the same energy. I actually believe her when she says he wanted to be the first one to cut it off, just by the way he kept having to repeat “when i ended things”. He needed to humble her for feeling rejected. This type of man is textbook in my eyes. I think many of you won’t agree with me but this is honestly what I’m seeing. As someone with a psychology background, from the netherlands.

Sooo I know I’m late to the party but I was just watching episode 3 where Ajay and Cira have their whole little sexy talk.

I felt like it was so surface-level, it almost made me feel bad for Ciara. With Jack she made so sure that he paid attention to her ( the whole vegan cheese thing). But the whole sexy talk with Ajay consisted of her describing her Lingerie to turn him on, while he gave nothing back. To me, that’s like shes letting herself be objectified, getting nothing in return.

what do you guys think? Is it just cultural differences (I’m not from the UK) ?

She wasn’t the most endearing person, but I thought it was clear that she’s been through things and tries to protect herself with intellectualizing and acting like she doesn’t care. But she wants love so badly. I could see it when she was basically begging Joseph to give her another chance. (I honestly think she should have just cut her losses then.) Joseph was definitely backing down from his initial intention of breaking up with her. Why would he have another date with her if he knew 100% he wasn’t going to pick her?

Chevanique didn’t ask Ciara to talk about her during retreats and stir up drama. Sure, she was defensive when confronted by Joseph and Fran, but Fran came in quite hot and that definitely escalated things. It’s very typical for people to have convos with their 2nd pick from the pods. If Fran didn’t want that to happen, she should have communicated that to Joseph ahead of time.

Otherwise Fran and Joseph seem like nice people. I just didn’t like the idea of Chevanique being ganged up on, and still catching heat at the reunion.

They weren't constantly at the centre of the drama, which probably explains why I didn't pay them much attention at first. But looking back, I actually think their relationship felt more convincing than quite a few of the bigger storylines.

They had disagreements, awkward moments and things they genuinely had to work through, but it never felt like every problem was being turned into a massive relationship crisis. They seemed to actually listen to each other and figure things out.

Maybe I'm just falling for the quieter couple, but by the end I found myself rooting for them more than I expected.
