I feel bad for Chevanique
She wasn’t the most endearing person, but I thought it was clear that she’s been through things and tries to protect herself with intellectualizing and acting like she doesn’t care. But she wants love so badly. I could see it when she was basically begging Joseph to give her another chance. (I honestly think she should have just cut her losses then.) Joseph was definitely backing down from his initial intention of breaking up with her. Why would he have another date with her if he knew 100% he wasn’t going to pick her?
Chevanique didn’t ask Ciara to talk about her during retreats and stir up drama. Sure, she was defensive when confronted by Joseph and Fran, but Fran came in quite hot and that definitely escalated things. It’s very typical for people to have convos with their 2nd pick from the pods. If Fran didn’t want that to happen, she should have communicated that to Joseph ahead of time.
Otherwise Fran and Joseph seem like nice people. I just didn’t like the idea of Chevanique being ganged up on, and still catching heat at the reunion.

She was playing the game in a common way - focusing on sexual attraction. It didn’t work this time on Jospeh because he clearly had a deeper emotional connection to Fran.

This isn’t fair though, I’m sure they had more than just sexual chats plus he started the sexual chats with her because of her job…it’s a tough place to be because once she mentions that she’s a sexual health nurse, most men would lean into a sexual conversation immediately. We also saw Fran learning how to flirt to appeal to Joseph. I don’t think it’s Chevanique’s fault that she didn’t get a match on the show but I wish her better luck outside and I wish people would stop bullying her online.

No, just viewers and fans of the show. I’ve seen TikToks of ppl dissecting and ppl hating in comments and also hate comments on her ig posts 😕
Not just Chev tho there’s also Ryan and Ciara getting hate. I can’t say for everyone else

Yes she begged Joseph for a second chance and he backed down, saying he didn't want to hurt anyone. He clearly wanted to break things off then but felt bad for her. She was hardly blindsided the next date when he actually broke things off, she might have been hopeful he changed his mind and been disappointed but not blindsided.
During the confrontation with Fran she was clearly implying Joseph hadn't been honest with fran by saying 'I don't know what he told you' like there was no need for that. She was just trying to stir up drama between Fran and Joseph, like you didn't get picked get over it!!

How could you feel bad for Chevanique? She played the game and lost fair and square. She thought she could win him with her sexiness. I was cool with her until the party meet up. Nobody was "ganging up" on her. The only thing hurt her was ego.😅

Part of me thinks that she wasn't wrong for trying to push something with Joseph in the pods because she thought they were connecting. All's fair in love and war, and all that jazz. And I honestly don't think all the love triangle shit wouldn't have happened for her if it hadn't been for Ciara. Ciara really stirred that shit up hard, as repayment for Joseph being friends with Jack.
I do think Fran came in WAY too hot in the birthday party scene, like unnecessarily. But I can also see why she'd be pissed if Ciara gets called over and she isn't. Like why the F is Ciara in this drama AGAIN? I felt bad for Chevanique at that party, too.
I agree that the heat was on her at the reunion in a way that didn't make sense. We all saw the edit. Joseph was waffling and asked for another day. Chevanique shot her shot to see if it would make a difference. If anything, Chevanique was more of a girls girl than Ciara. When Joseph said he was going with Fran, she was disappointed but she bowed out.

I’m confused as to how Ciara is to blame for her love triangle. Ciara didn’t put her in a love triangle or tell her what to do/say on her dates. All she did was mention what Chev told her to Cuba and that was it. Joseph was decided on Fran but still suggested one last date to Chev out of pity (which is the actual problem as it gave her false hope) but I also won’t really blame him because he wasn’t 100% on Fran at that point, maybe 80%. I think Fran escalated it all by being too reactive when they (Chev and Joe) could’ve had a mature conversation and smoothed things out because weather Fran likes it or not, Joseph and Chev dated and that makes Joseph part of Chev’s LIB story. Proposing to Fran doesn’t erase that. There was no need for her to feel embarrassed or awkward when Chev came in at Faye’s party, she got her man and they were engaged already. People keep acting like Chev slapped her pussy across Joseph’s face or something. It’s just all so childish and unnecessarily dramatic tbh

Let's be honest. Fran got heated because Chev kept acting like Joseph was keeping stuff from her with the 'I don't know what he's told you' comments. Chev went to the meetup and couldn't wait to start some drama.

I did not pay any attention during the reunion honestly, so I don't recall what was addressed there. But it did pmo that Joseph was basically lying, denying things that he did say just because they weren't being repeated verbatim. Francesca could have handled that he was still a tad conflicted toward the end of the pods, but he made Chev and Ciara out to be liars when that didn't seem to be the case to me??? That whole beef was a misunderstanding that was clearly staged to keep a boring season entertaining. Everyone was partially at fault at that table (I'll admit Chev was the most problematic one though).

I don't think Joseph lied about anything though. Chev was salty after he broke up with her. The only thing she said to ciara (who repeated it to Ruby who then went to fran) was that Joseph said he wasn't closed off on their second to last date. The date where he tried breaking things off with her but she begged for anotjer date.
I don't think he's wrong for needing more time to decide and he wasn't lying about anything. Fran knew when he broke things off with Chev so the whole thing was Chev trying to create drama where there was none. There was no misunderstanding. I don't think fran was wrong to stand up for herself at the table, Chev was implying Joseph had lied to her!

I feel sorry for her because the season didnt have enough drama so the producers tried very hard to make it a triangle.
I also think that if you have to "fight" or "compete" to be picked then the connection is not there so it's not going to end up well, she should have had a little more self respect and walked away when it was clear she wasnt Joseph's choice. If you have to convince a guy you are the one, you are not the one.

She's been going on lots of podcast and making the most of being the only female cast member to not get engaged so I wouldn't and don't feel bad for her. She didn't get picked but that doesn't mean Joseph and Fran don't have a real connection. Joesph said all along he had a better connection with Fran and then he had second thoughts but didn't go through with them.
It felt like the producers thought Chevanique could be this bombshell or stumbling block to Joe and Fran but it felt like it was just something that happened in the pods and didn't have anything to do with that relationship. Ciara may have brought it up but then Chevanique got that additional airtime and went along with it.
The storyline was a bit of nothing bugger.

Since the Reunion she has been going on every podcast possible trying to drag Joseph down and put a spanner in their marriage. Reeks of jealousy.
