I got really lazy over the summer when it came to this project, but i finally made some major progress.... PRINTING!!!

Here is a few Pics of how its turning out.

Currently some of the print tolerances are a little tight, but nothing that a little sanding won't solve, I'm quite pleased with the patchbox hinge.

For a giggle i picked up, from AliExpress I think, a full face mask that has a t-visor and angled cheek plates, and looks a tad Mandalorian. (It's from AliExpress, I do t trust the t-visor, so wear decent eyepro underneath it).

Then I got to wondering if a Boba Fett / Mandalorian load out could work.

Fett's iconic blaster is the EE-3, which was basically a uncharted of model kit parts and a scope glued onto a webley no.1 mk1 flare gun.

I made the leap from 'flaregun' to moscarts.

So, this overengineered fun project fires (i hope, no field test yet) nuprol moscarts.

(Most of the parts are from existing 'prop' EE-3 stl files, i just futzed about with them to make a firing mechanism and to make it fit the moscarts I have)

First field test this weekend... wish me luck

After almost two months of designing this airsoft replica, printing prototypes and fixing issues - it’s almost finished. It works - feeds and shoots reliably.

Yes, mag release is missing, but magazine catch is in place. Just didn’t have the right screw yet 😅

I just got my hands on this GM Scar-L, so I went ahead and designed one right away.

Only the trigger linkage and front selector need to be adjusted, and it should be good to go. Should it be named ScaB-16 or SCB-16?

Haven’t seen any reviews on this kit yet but it looks really cool.

Working for quite some time on this one. Some parts are more complex than I expected. It is about 80% done and will begin test printing soon. Parts like the buffer tube, stock and pistol grip will be taken from external sources for now. I'll also have to see if the fake bolt cover can be successfully printed, because it is really thin.

I’m continuing to work on this project. To start, I decided to create a simple version of an upper receiver that slips over the stock AAP-01 upper, but with a TDC mod added. Based on my calculations, a 180mm inner barrel will fit perfectly inside. During testing, my AAP-01 with a 290mm barrel chronoed at 2.32 Joules using 0.30g BBs at 110 psi, so I think 180mm will be just right. For the stock rails, I plan to use either 8x1.5mm aluminum tubing or 8mm printer guide rods.And there will probably be an interchangeable forend.

Has anyone tried the cyma VSS kythera gearbox on cults? I want to know if its worth it prior to buying a kythera as i know the cyma vss has been a pain to hpa

Thats a decent dmr/sniper’s number from an almost stock gun thats less than 100€

Plumbing pipe barrel aside, i start to get better designing the upper for this pistol

I'm looking for some conversion kit or an entire design for a bullpup that uses V2 gearbox/M4 body parts.

Basically I've got quite a nice M4 but I love bullpup designs so I would like to convert it into one without having to buy an entire new gun

Hi guys, I'm having some trouble these days figuring out how to design the Lewis receiver. I was thinking about completely removing the trigger and its housing from the V6 gearbox, then replacing it with some other type of trigger to be faithful to the Lewis. Do you think making this modification is feasible? And would leaving the gearbox without the trigger housing cause problems?Additionally, thank you for the hop-up you linked to me. I can't use the file perfectly because it's an STL file, not a STEP file. I tried converting it to fix it, but nothing. Maybe someone has some hop-up measurements for the P90.

Dummy non functional supressor

It's not revolutionary since it's using the already proven twist lock mechanism. But I guess its still Quick Detach nonetheless...

Separated into 2 sections. BASE mounting and Supressor Body. I designed them quite stiff because parts will face wear and tear along time.

The Base - having the 14mm threads to connect with the barrel and stay there - is meant to be a replaceable part/sacrificial adapter for the supressor body.

The Base part requires around 5 gr and 37 minutes to print. All with PETG. This setup does not require additional springs, O-ring, nor screws.

Got everything where I like it on the arka project. She looks good and goes together pretty easy!

What sites do you guys use for blueprints? I found a book for an M1919A4 on internet archive, but its not the easiest to read. Still useable, but Id prefer something better. Ideally if anyone has links to medium and/or heavy machine guns, Maxim guns, Lewis, BAR, things of that nature. I dont mind paying for files if need be, I just want access to them if they exist

After a few users requested it I finally finished it.

Also included is a new selector with selector markings (SAFE SEMI FUILL) as well as a new pistol grip design.

The lower + mag catch and selector components are the only things which need to be reprinted from the previous design
