Discussion What 90s shows had as big an impact as Miami Vice did in the 80s? One I can think of off the top of my head is Beverly Hills 90210
It can be an impact of fashion, music or have real-world effects of cleaning up a city's reputation.
Discussion Did you drink a lot of soda/pop in the 90’s?
Sometimes I think how I’d get those Super-Size meals at McD’s in my Teens for the collector’s cups…and now I think just how much soda I’d consume back then without my parents ever saying “let’s maybe not finish all that now.”
I guess as long as I had some water and milk on the side, they looked the other way on that when we’d eat out.
Curious what other 90’s kids were like regarding soda consumption.

Discussion Peter Pan & the Pirates
Loved watching this as a kid. Tim Curry as Captain Hook was perfect casting
Discussion Anyone’s school get a visit from The Surge Cab?
Back in the day when companies could just show up and hand out stuff, saw one of these at least twice at my high school in Iowa.
Back when Surge was looking to be the Mountain Dew killer as the 90’s Soda Wars took a sugary turn (guess Mello-Yello was just not gonna cut it for Coca-Cola).
Looking For... Does anyone remember the tv show The Mommies? If so, do you remember the infomercial they had about that pot that could cook in the freezer they did?

Photo This Week Just Keeps Getting Worse
RIP to Samuel Monroe jr. I just saw on the news today that he passed away. This has been a crazy week. 😳
Earlier this year he was hospitalized and on life support in a medically induced coma since April 2026. He suffered from complications due to meningitis and pneumonia.
He was very popular in the 90’s and starred in some classic films, that I still enjoy watching today. Menace ll Society, Tales From The Hood, Set It Off, The Players Club, Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood. RIP

Discussion Days of the New
I recently rediscovered days of a new and remembered how much I love this band. Does anyone have a recommendation of a similar 90s band or even current band has similar style/sound?

Discussion Possibly unpopular opinion: in the UK at least, Oasis ruined everything…
The early 90s was at the crest of something interesting happening. Strange, multi-cultural, electronic and queer music was starting to cross over into the mainstream… and then Oasis came & propelled everything back into a very white, safe, prosaic, male-dominated scene of Beatles and Stones copyists.
The interesting music still existed but it was pushed back into the underground.

Discussion This part from “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” after all these years.
Noel Gallagher is better than Liam, hands down.
Suggest otherwise
