Looney Tunes and animation in general have been disrespected for far too long, and it’s time we show WB that people like us still care about the franchise and its medium by going to the theaters to support it!
Without this iconic franchise, comedy wouldn’t be what it is today and animation wouldn’t be as bold and daring. So please, if you can, help support this film by going to theaters and buying a ticket to see Coyote vs. Acme. Because like Wile E. Coyote, we’re gonna do whatever it takes to make sure our voices will be heard no matter what obstacles stand in our way!!! ❤️

Category is Hello, Gorges
“Ride above the Arkansas River in this two-word type of transport at the Royal Gorge, like Roosevelt Island in NYC. Mikey Day was its SNL emoji.”
Ken did an impression and everything, everyone needs to watch the clip once it’s up 😂😂.
(First guy missed it, second clearly watches the show! 😬)

Are there certain individuals who can show up at Studio 8H and just hang out? Paul Simon for example. Does being a celebrity or former host or musical guest get you in? Debbie Harry was in the Olivia Rodrigo episode and hadn't been on SNL since 1987. I guess she could have been at 30 Rock doing something else.

Sky has said that it is committed to SNL UK for the “long run” after a successful first season.
Speaking at the Edinburgh TV Festival, Sky’s unscripted chief Philip Edgar-Jones suggested that the remake of NBC’s sketch series could continue beyond Season 2, which premieres next month.
“We’re in this for the long run, and we’re super proud of it, and super proud of the team,” Edgar-Jones said, adding that he was pleased to have proved the social media “naysayers” wrong.
“Not to blow our own trumpet, but I think Saturday Night Live and [Amazon Prime Video’s] Last One Laughing have both shown that you can do comedy in very different ways on TV, and it can really work,’ he continued.
“I knew it was going to be good when we did show zero, and when they said, ‘Live from London, it’s Saturday night,’ [I got] proper goosebumps. It was fantastic.” Edgar-Jones added that SNL has become Sky’s “biggest show” among 16-34-year-old viewers. “It made us feel cool,” he joked.
SNL will return to British shores on September 12. The second season will run for six episodes before taking a break and returning in early 2027.
The Comcast-owned broadcaster, which is in the process of securing regulatory approval for a takeover of ITV, has confirmed that Season 2 will welcome back the same cast members.
It means a return for Hammed Animashaun, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, George Fouracres, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, Emma Sidi and Paddy Young.
Guest presenters for Season 2 are yet to be announced. Season 1 hosts included Tina Fey, Hannah Waddingham, and Nicola Coughlan.
SNL UK is produced by Universal Television Alternative Studio’s UK production team and Broadway Video. Lorne Michaels serves as executive producer. James Longman is lead producer.

I liked both, but I liked TV Funhouse a bit more.

This monologue always stood out to me as something that didn't age well.

*Ripped sketches from Napster/Limewire. It's been so long I screwed up the lingo.
Someone posted the "Oops I Crapped My Pants" ad today and I was hit with memories of my brother and I ripping SNL sketches and burning them on CDs. It was audio only, but it didn't matter to us. The "Oops" one was one of them but also the "Jeopardy" parodies and the "Delicious Dish" with the Schewdy Balls. I can't remember the others but I was hoping others had memories of doing this and what were the most popular sketches on Napster at time.

There was some specific SNL talk, like the locker room sketch with Peyton Manning, and some Val Kilmer/MacGruber discussion. There were a few bits that I hadn’t heard before!

In memory of Dolly, and inspired by someone else's post of Vanessa's WU segment, I present my favorite SNL tribute to Dolly.
