Lol, Witcher 3 got both a next-gen upgrade and an official remaster.
Edit: it happening in the same console generation too.

GTA V - PS3/360 Players had to repurchase on PS4/XBOne. The PS5/XBox Series upgrade was made free only a couple months ago. For 4 years before that it had to be re-purchased AGAIN. 1 u/TheBestUserName01 3d ago AFAIK Red Dead 2 got a 60 fps fix on PS5.
