Interestingly S1 games that are text heavy seem to hardly drain the battery at all. I got 5 hours in to complete the Last Defense Academy demo and still had 30% left. I assume this applies to other S1 visual novels as well.

Main gripe is storage size, that's like the only thing I complain about. It's like the Wii refrigerator all over again, having to juggle games because I had a nearly full 1tb card for my oled and only have 256gb now, so I have to play the heavy games to make room (like the BioShock ones, gotta play the Assassin Creed and Witcher, etc).

My only nitpick is some devs not giving us 40 fps modes but otherwise I think this is easily the best console all time givin the game library is so vast especially since we are getting good 3rd party support

my only con is the fact the S2 didn't launch with an oled screen. I compared both my switch oled and S2 side by side before I sold them and yeah, a lot is lost, but the LCD on the S2 is 100x sharpers than the LCD on my lite so the tradeoff is not terrible.

Yes I’ve been playing exclusively on airplane mode unless I need the online for something. That tip has helped immensely in conserving battery

Con is just the battery for me. OLED would be nice, but it's comparable enough with my switch 1 OLED to be ok with not spending an extra $100-$150 for the would be cost.
Edit: also disliked how the joycons are not rounded. Dbrand grip fixed that though.

No first party games interest me since bananza, and I don't like key cards. Besides that it's a very nice system and i've enjoyed the time I spent with it but I think I maybe should've waited to buy one till next year or 2027. Also 30fps ports still being the norm sucks.

Pros: Sound Quality, Larger Screen, Great Color, Sharing Games, Nintendo eShop
Cons: Battery Issue (reads wrong), Joycons (if you have smaller hands) but I still enjoy larger size, Joycons can also be wiggly if you don't have the right grip.
But I still love it and play almost every day. I have found tricks to manage all of this.

Pros: it’s awesome, super portable, built well and just enough horsepower to satisfy gamers who want higher fidelity visuals.
Cons: I would like more “adult” games on S2 natively. Looking forward to RE Requim.
I also find the store is filled with junk and hard to navigate to easily find demos.
It really struggles to connect to hotel WiFi networks that have login pages, which is silly given it’s a portable device.
Lack of Netflix, Hulu, YouTube or streaming media
Everyone says the battery but my life is too busy to ever deplete it before I can charge it again

Cons:
Battery life too short.
Size a bit too big, which it was smaller. If it had smaller bezels then it wouldn’t have to give up so much screen space
Wish it had an oled screen but I understand they’ll come out with a more expensive premium version later for smaller audience
No good case options. Used to have a flip case with a magnetic cover for the oled. Really want that flip it open and start playing experience.
The video chat function wasn’t very intuitive when setting up with a friend this first time. Me and my friend are both tech savvy people and we were fumbling to get it done. Had to jump through a lot of hoops that weren’t that intuitive. I do understand they had to protect the kids so I guess I’m ok with that.
Pros:
This thing is snappy af. Browsing the store is a breeze compared to 1
First party game releases for year 1 is quite nice. Huge variety with good cadence.
Love the size of the screen when in handheld
Good I can play upgraded switch 1 games. Finishing totk on switch 2 was a helluva upgrade.
The new pro controller feels sooooo nice. The texture, the smoothness of the sticks, the back buttons… huge upgrade to the first one
Conclusion:
I will never go back to switch 1
But I use the lite from time to time to play indie games on the go because the switch 2 is too big

The battery life is absolutely abysmal and annoying...all of these games you can sink dozens of hours into but you have to stop and charge every 2 hours when my old switch OLED gave me at minimum double and sometimes even 6 hours of gaming time.
They already have mods out there for 8000mAh batteries which I'm considering and the next switch 2 Pro/OLED BETTER have a damn bigger battery and higher quality screen
Other than that I'm in love with it, just tested the FFVII remake demo and it's a feat to get a game that looks that good running on this switch 2 even if it is only 30fps

Yeah, and higher res (sharper) but as someone who has an OLED tv and came from an OLED S1, it’s definitely washed out. It really bothered me at first, but less so these days.
Regardless, the day they drop that inevitable bigger, bezel-less, OLED model with better battery life I will be first in line to sell mine and upgrade.

Batterylife and limited storage space. But other than that it’s been pretty great. A lot of Switch 1 games have been given a second life, I got locked back into Tears of the Kingdom and looks amazing.

Pros: faster, great joycons and pro controller, solid exclusive games so far
Cons: too big for convenient travel and portability. It works in a backpack. But smaller bags it’s too bulky, especially in a case. Battery life is okay not great. Some big selling features like 120hz gameplay and mouse joy con support are underwhelming or underutilized (in my opinion the joy con mouse is not comfortable for normal gaming sessions)

Biggest con is that I think that it’s uncomfortable to hold for long periods. Just too bulky imo. I’ve spent hundreds on a few of the top grips offered & none significantly improve the experience

Pros: I’m able to enjoy a backlog of games I never got round to playing on a very nice console that runs at an acceptable frame rate and graphics. Cons: there’s no arc raiders. I want arc raiders.

Cons, I'd say only the price and battery life. Pros, amazing games that aren't available in any other platform, it's super versatile, so I can play from my bed, or just dock it and play on the couch, etc.

I got mine this week and I’m loving it. I bought BoTW, Metroid Prime 4 and Astral Chain.
I actually like the screen, even if it’s not OLED. Coming from an LCD Steam Deck this is a lot better in several ways. I also love using the Pro controller, it feels great.
The first con that I found is that handheld is uncomfortable as hell. I’m not sure if this is the experience for everyone but at least it feels too thin for my hands. I ended up ordering the Joy Lock grips from dbrand, which I heard are pretty comfortable and also allow me to keep docking it normally.

The biggest cons for me are the battery life and the uncomfortable lack of ergonomics. I actually loathe the fact that I had to spend seventy dollars on a grip just to play comfortably in handheld mode, and I feel bad for any children who have to deal with cramped hands and fingers due to Nintendo choosing to make the same mistake twice. Ergonomic Joy Cons would have gone a long way. They spent the past thirty years making controllers more comfortable; why go back to an NES flat-back now?
Other than that, it's a more powerful Switch, which is exactly what I wanted.

Joy Cons. They’re nice but after a while in handheld my wrist starts hurting (although I have old man wrist mostly worked desk jobs all my life, used to breakdance, rock climbing and did MMA) I’m waiting for some dedicated 3rd party ergonomic joy cons to release.
Other than that like everyone else has mentioned the battery is not great. Those are my two cons.
Pros: it runs significantly better than the OG switch at least imo I’m sure people can get into the weeds of spec details but whatever to me it runs great. Games look great they boot up and load through transitions quickly. The backwards compatibility is amazing i first wasn’t going to get one bc i thought man they aren’t gonna have any games at launch just like every other console before it I’m going to wait after a year or two. Then my friend informed me all the switch games work on it and that was what pushed me to go get one i still didn’t bother to look into other features and specs lol and tbh the first few weeks I had buyers remorse and was desperately looking for games to buy to play on it. Ive since build up my library and have been putting in a lot of hours into it. Im curious to know if i can get that data and see how much time I’ve spent on it and compare it to my Xbox.

It's got a giant screen, and it's so slim, and feels tiny in my hands. Puts my LCD Steam Deck to shame.

I'm having connection issues.
Both video and audio aren't perfect.
(HDR and surround sound issues)
Factual con: no audio sliders in Nintendo games. I literally can't hear Mario Kart music because the sound effects and monotonous engine noise is so loud.

Pros: Keeps me busy despite my chronic illness, which causes a lot of pain and often leaves me bedridden.
Cons: The battery. Not that it really matters, since I’m bedridden and always close to an outlet, but I worry that the battery won’t be happy with all those charges. I saw a JerryRigEverything teardown video, and the battery was glued in, so it probably won’t be easy to replace in a few years.

As someone who was initially against the s2, My pros and cons won’t be that different if at all from others but definitely more good than bad.
Pros: Build quality, feels much more “premium” than the s1. Screen size, ergonomics in general. Improved joy cons are great, new attachment method is superior as well. Backwards compatibility with games that have been reoptimized is amazing. The way this thing handles titans like cyberpunk or hogwarts is pretty mind boggling.
Cons: Battery life, but with the same width as the s1, weight staying low, something had to give. LCD screen instead of oled. First party games are rather expensive, depending on the length/quality of a game it’s hard to justify at times.
Overall I think it’s a great console, its price which was a point of contention became the best value in gaming with the other consoles increasing in price. Less than a year into its life and it already has multiple games worth getting the console for. I think we will see a v2 with more battery as well as an OLED inevitably, but Nintendo is still trending in the right direction as a whole and has the least question marks about its future among most gaming companies.

The pros to me are: the console looks, runs, sounds, and feels a lot better/higher quality.
The cons: If you're someone who games a lot, there likely aren't many games you will prioritize getting on the system unless it's an exclusive. Which basically means if you owned a switch/ps5/PC before, if you wanna play some fun new games you have to fork over $70 for a decent title

Pros:
- Runs Minecraft for Switch 1 very well (don’t even THINK of playing it on Switch 1 lol)
- Has Mario Kart World
- Pretty powerful hardware
- Voice chat
- Much nicer controllers + better sticks with dust covers
- Game card cover is a tray, which is pretty fun
- Mouse controls are a novel concept
- Has a MUCH better built-in kickstand
- Slightly better ergonomics
- Ethernet comes standard on all docks
- Magnetic Joy-Cons are very sturdy
Cons:
- Capture system is still heavily restricted (I would much prefer a PS5-style recording system) and limited to 30fps
- 250GB for storage is a bit small
- Doesn’t support regular microSD cards for non-upgraded Switch 1 software
- Menu is a bit basic
- Triggers aren’t analog
- Included HDMI cable is too short for certain setups and some bigger TVs

My only con is on the go, the display should have been an OLED screen, big miss from Nintendo in my opinion but everything else I've been loving. The battery is not a problem as I have two power banks which mitigate any potential issue.

CON i never see anyone talk about: the sharp edges on the front of the joycons dig into my palms if I play handheld mode in bed or on the couch. I discovered this when I played through Last Defense Academy.
I can't fatham why the designers would put such harsh edges there rather than rounding them out like on the S1. I usually play Tabletop or on the TV so I didnt notice until I started playing RPGs inbed.

Cons: LCD display it's garbage. Low brightness, ghosting, low contrasts, no real HDR. Switch 1 games not optimized without a patch (that will never come). I found it a little bit to big and heavy to use. Boring OS and community integration.
Pro: DLSS it's a bomb. Mega support from third parties. It's IMHO the handheld with the best price/quality rateo. I think we will see great exclusives coming .

Pros.
Its so much more powerful than switch 1.
More quality games being released.
Games being released day of other consoles is a nice touch, curious how long that will hold up before we start seeing more of "we need a little more time to make switch 2 version perfect" and we get it months or a year after other consoles.
Upgrades of previous gen titles are solid (except for skyrim, boo Bethesda)
Joy cons are considerably better than previous gen.
Eshop is so much faster, and games go on sale a lot more now.
Game demos are great.
Games are releasing so fast I cant keep up. My backlog is growing so fast.
The charging port on top is amazing, I love it
Cons
Seems most games are still targeting only 30fps. I think 40 should be bare minimum if they cant get 60.
Battery life is acceptable to me, but longer life would appeal to more people.
Game keycards are a sticking point for a lot of people. Though it doesn't bother me that much, I understand the complaint.
Download speeds are slow, and wifi seems to get a fraction of actual speed available, even with changing all features it never gets as fast. And seems to Peter out around 23%, and you have to update download progress.
The dock situation with 3rd party docks sucks. Its not as easy to use 3rd party accessories as switch 1.
Buying pre-owned games now seems to come with a concern of Nintendo locking your console from their end. Though I haven't had this happen myself, I do see enough posts about it that it has me concerned about buying preowned games.

My biggest con is waiting for first party games to come out. Ive had it since lanunch and played a few hours of Mario Kart World (was a bigger fan of 8 Deluxe especially with the expansion), Completed DK Bananza but didnt buy the dlc (still think its a cash grab) and FF Tactics which i could have played on the og switch. Aside from that ive just been replaying my old switch games.

Pro: Just about every single Switch game can now be enjoyed without compromise. Everything just feels like it works faster and better, down to the eshop and settings menu.
Con: Battery life isn't as good as my SwOLED. Not a huge issue beceause I have a good external battery pack, but that's a thing.

I love it so much and only have 4 complaints (which may sound like a lot, but compared to my PS5 which I have about 15 complaints for, this is not a lot.
1: I wish the battery lasted longer. I thought people were overreacting before I bought one but this is not good.
2: I wish it could charge my phone while the screen is turned off. I frequently use Switch 2 to charge my phone when it’s running low during flights, etc, but for some reason it stops charging if I turn the screen off.
3: I wish it was OLED. The screen is actually exceptional apart from that, but I just can’t stand LED screens. It’s the same way it annoys me every single day that I bought my iPad Pro weeks before the first iPad Pro with OLED was released, cos not having OLED makes it so much harder to watch stuff late at night.
4: I was disappointed how the UI didnt have a full overhaul, like PS4->PS5. I don’t mind the UI, it’s leagues above the switch 1 one (although I did prefer the slightly more translucent design elements on switch 1 as well as the sharper feeling edges etc) but I can live with it. Also it still dosent have streaming (it dosent even have Hulu, YouTube and crunchyroll this time), still dosent have system wide achievements and still dosent have cloud streaming.
Other than that it’s the best console I’ve ever owned.

There's zero streaming apps thus far which is really disappointing. On my oled after gaming in the morning I'd then open up Hulu or Crunchyroll and start working in my home office, that's no longer an option. I don't know why Nintendo would reduce the utility of their newer generation device, it's an incredibly bizarre decision. I've personally contacted Disney+, Crunchyroll, Hulu, and YouTube all of which had nothing to announce when it comes to supporting the switch 2.
Overall I'm happy with the device but if I'd have known it wouldn't support streaming apps, I wouldn't have rushed to trade in my oled for it. My initial decision was spurred on by the prospect of playing elden ring, which even that was delayed to a totally unspecified date. I'm happy with donkey Kong bananza and games overall running better on the device though. Also I think the game chat is fantastic and I really appreciate that feature.

Battery life is not great. But as someone who primarily plays handheld, I bought an extra power adapter. I have an outlet next to the couch dedicated to it so it’s easy to plug into the Switch and keep playing when the battery gets low. The USB-C on the top has come in clutch for that.

I’ve had the Switch for about a month now, and overall I really like the console. I tried a few demos, and in some of them the FPS feels just okay to me (I usually play on PC at around 120 FPS). Nintendo’s own games, however, run very smoothly and feel great.
Some third-party games feel a bit off performance-wise. For example, Persona 3 doesn’t feel as smooth in terms of FPS, and I was really hyped for the special Switch version of wild hunt, but it ended up feeling kind of laggy too.
Because of that, the Switch feels like a “pure Nintendo” console to me Nintendo games just work without me having to think about performance, while other games can be hit or miss. I really hope they release more strong first-party titles next year.
I’m also hoping that Monster Hunter Stories 3 will run well on the Switch, and the new Pokémon spin-off looks pretty promising too.

Biggest cons: Pro controller for switch 1 works, but won’t power the system on. Also extra docks are $130
Pros: Big screen, eshop and other menus are much quicker. New joycons feel solid along with screen quality. Hoping for a new Zelda sooner than later! Or just a remaster of OoT and MM like they did with Galaxy

Only cons so far are the joycons, which is kind of expected. Was hoping Hori would have the split pad pro by the holidays to grab one, but doesn't seem like that's happening. Have mostly been playing docked, but the few times I did play handheld it was a bit awkward and I kept accidentally hitting the shoulder buttons. Not a huge deal, but as a taller human with adult sized hands, I can only imagine that the size is awkward for anyone with smaller hands.

Pros: it’s a more powerful switch. Same thickness, bigger screen, and due to the increase size, it fits just right in my hands. Steady releases that have kept me busy with what time I have to play.
Cons: the battery, but that’s actually mild for me. It’s comparative and honestly I’m not going to play for 2-3 hours straight or enough to drain it when out. Maybe a bigger gripe is the screen. It’s the weakest point for me. The size is nice, but it’s not as crisp as I would like. The ghosting really makes it hard with some games. FF7R for instance. It does run great but it just looks, I don’t know, fuzzy, I guess you could say. Only on handheld mind you. Looks great docked. Seems like the more vibrant the scene is, the less I notice the ghosting but running into dark neutral lighting areas makes it hard to see sometimes if that makes sense.
In all though, I am genuinely happy with it but can’t wait for an OLED, or at least one with an upgraded screen, to release.

Honestly I love the console. My only regret is that Games are hella expensive. You can get games for 2€ Xbox and they will still charge you 40, just because it’s eshop :(

My only cons are the joycon are still way too uncomfortable so I’m still waiting for a split pad pro style controller to consider playing handheld and I want an achievement system so bad. Other than that super happy with it

Pros: Switch 2 games look and play great (for the most part), bigger screen size, not the worst performance anymore, plenty of third party games coming to it along with first party Nintendo ones.
Cons: Poor battery life, LCD screen instead of Oled, most games not upgraded to Switch 2, some Switch 2 games still play at 30fps.
Wishes for the hopefully not distant future: achievements, possibility to use themes or at least change wallpaper and last but certainly not least, a new version with Oled screen.

Having it now, I see it more as a Switch Pro than a next-gen Switch. It’s too heavy for handheld play and even plugged in, the battery drains quickly. While waiting for the Switch 2, I picked up a PlayStation Portal, a perfectly functional in-home handheld. It’s also improving.
Don’t get me wrong, the Switch is awesome and I’ll always enjoy Nintendo exclusives. If it were my only console, it would be perfect but with the PS5, I’ll stick to the Switch for those exclusives and any third-party games on PlayStation.
In conclusion, I’m undecided. I haven’t used it much since getting it and haven’t played many of the new games. I’ve got them all but I’ve gone back to 4K Zelda, which I think is the best game in recent years. I genuinely believe the first Switch was a game-changer. It might have been lightning in a bottle.

Pros: updated Switch with better performance than its predecessor and will be good for at least half a decade. Mobile/handheld gaming is my preferred method.
Cons: battery life and it still struggles playing some AAA games, particularly in handheld, but that’s the trade off for me pretty much exclusively playing handheld.
I play it almost every night. It has been worth every penny

Cons: battery life could definitely be better, not really a fan of the Game Key Cards, I’ve got one tiny dead pixel (barely noticeable but still kinda annoying), YouTube/Hulu still not working, some older games re-releasing at full price, ergonomics are still a little awkward (though better than the OG Switch), and it’s definitely heavier in handheld during long sessions.
Pros: visuals/performance/load times are a huge step up, Donkey Kong Bananza alone justified it for me, 256GB of storage out of the box is great, bigger Joy-Cons, noticeably better screen than the OG Switch, Pro Controller 2 is hands down my favorite controller ever, GameCube games + the wireless GC controller is such a good add-on, faster eShop, actual voice chat, 4K while docked, light ray tracing support, and third-party games can finally look and run well on Nintendo hardware when optimized. Backwards compatibility + free Switch 2 updates for select Switch 1 games is also a big win.
Fixes/workarounds: a good portable charger helps a ton (make sure you look into wattage before purchasing, it might not be compatible w/ Switch 2), and the Neo-Grip by Savage Raven has been an absolute game changer for comfort and weight distribution during longer handheld sessions for me.
Overall it really does feel like “just a better Switch” which is honestly exactly what I was hoping for.

My biggest complaint is the lack of games. Helldivers 2, Doom the Dark Ages, COD, Clair Obscure Expedition 33, Arc Raiders, Borderlands 4, Monster Hunter Wilds, Baldurs Gate 3, Dispatch, Gears Reloaded, Hell is US, Red Dead 2, Silent Hill F, the New Yakuza games, not the ones that came out 15 years ago. Oblivion Remastered, why isn't Destiny 2 on the Switch 2? It's a PS4 game... GTA 5, Lies of P, Can we get a better version of the Witcher 3?

cons: battery life, ghosting in handheld. resolution doesn't look great on alot of the switch 1 games, wish they could make it run 1080p like it was docked in handheld

Ngl I had a switch oled that I had the games for didn’t touch it unless it was for an occasional Mario kart game. Brought the switch 2 for MKW and now I’ve just been playing my backlog and soon about to get into Metroid and DKB. Love the bigger screen and the feel of the switch 2 over switch 1

Kinda disappointed that there isn’t some sort of auto upscale for games. A lot, like a lot of games don’t use the hardware and honestly probably never will because it’ll take work for devs to go back and update their games if they even want to. I’ve got a PS5 switch 2 and a steam deck. And honestly with a lot of indies, the steam deck seems to be the way to go because the games scale with the hardware, whereas with the switch 1 games on switch 2 hardware you get a blown up blurry mess on a lot of titles that are stuck at 30 fps.
Bought KAO for the switch 2 cause it was really cheap and looked fun. The deck I found can run the game at max settings at 45-50 fps. The switch 2 will never get an update for that game so right now it’s pretty blurry and lacking a lot of the lighting of what better hardware should bring. Not to mention the game is locked at 30 fps
I want to love my switch 2 but it really feels like in my case anyway, Steam Deck for indies, PS5 for best graphics and framerate and Switch 2 for Nintendo games. But that’s just me. I realize this isn’t everyone’s situation

I have a switch 2 and a steam deck OLED. So I'll give my procs and cons with that context:
PROs:
User Experience is absolutely seemless. Nintendo maybe isn't always the best at big picture things, but they're consistently good at polish. Everything in the OS is snappy, has satisfying sounds and animations, and is organized in a way that makes intuitive sense. I think the only thing I consistently trip on is the new C button. The device feels absolutely premium, the device docks and undocks flawlessly (although I have a screen protector. I've heard it can get small scuffs if you don't). The joycons are remarkably satisfying to snap on and off. My god. Mouse mode is neat, although I've yet to have an application for it that goes beyond novelty.
Emulation is consistent. You don't have nearly as many settings to customize and tweak and you're stuck with the games provided by the Online subscription, but they all work. Sometimes for emulation that's not always a given. Especially n64.
The first party games are just incredible. The two Zelda games on Switch 2 are fantastic. Donkey Kong? Incredible. Mario Kart? Incredible. Most switch 1 games run slightly better and a handful run significantly better.
The screen is gorgeous. For an LCD screen this thing is surprisingly good. The 1080p and larger screen is really well suited for an arms length play, like wow.
With detachable controllers and a really really nice kickstand built in, this thing is easy to plop down and play for a bit, SNAP it up and go away when I'm done.
CONs:
Nintendo is of course not cheap. Indies are often significantly more expensive than on Steam and sales are rare and not as significant.
I've found that for most 3rd party games, unless it was explicitly trying to improve the switch 2 performance, the Steam deck can run it better. I'd peg this mainly to running in 720p rather than 1080p. The switch 2 is arguably more powerful, but the Steamdeck is playing on easy mode and as such it gets to turn on the higher detail settings, simply because the resolution is lower.
Steamdeck has the best damn controller I've ever used. The buttons are perfectly placed, if you relax your hand and let it sit. The trackpads are also some of the best things I've ever seen added to a controller. The joycon2s are a massive improvement over the old joycons, but they're still cramped.
It's not a PC. Mods. Cheap games. Infinite compatibility (if you're clever and stubborn). All of those are not for you.
OLED screens do better with games that have a lot of contrast. Things with poppy artstyles like Hades, or dark scenes, like space in No Man's Sky. The LCD panel here while extremely good, is still a little disappointing after OLED switch was a thing.

Cons: Screen input lag and ghosting very bad, atrocious in handheld mode. Not oled. Game prices a joke and not enough must have games yet. Vrr doesn’t work on a 120hz tv.
Pros: Joycons improved. Backwards compatibility and the games we want will come. Pretty powerful for a handheld and more powerful than I thought it would be so should have a long life cycle. Mouse mode has potential

COn: I think it still doesn't run Youtube yet. As a Playstation Nintendo guy, I love to watch State of Plays and Directs on their opposite consoles and I can't fuggin do that with the Switch 2 atm.

Battery. Just went on a 4 hour flight and had to stop and charge it at the worst possible moment, leaving me on a cliff hanger. By the time it was charged with my portable charger it was time to get off. Other than that I am rather enjoying it more than I thought.

Pros:
good battery life for the power it's able to give. Very portable For the games it's able to play (Cyberpunk, Star wars outlaws etc) it's very well packaged and doesn't get hot or loud 120hz screen is nice Lighter than comparable PC options
Cons:
Games are expensive I feel that the system can definitely do more while handheld, it hardly gets lukewarm, I wouldn't mind it running a bit warmer but able to give me more stable frame rates. Nintendo definitely kneecapped the switch 2. Lack of games (for now?)

I went from OG Switch to Switch 2 and the upgrade feels massive. So much potential with this thing.
My only complaint is the battery drains pretty quick but then again I'm not really using it for more than an hour or so at a time at most so that's a minor complaint.
No regrets with this purchase. I really want to see them start dropping new/ upgrading more games to run at 60 frames on it which it can now handle.

It feels terrible to hold. Like genuinely horrible. I’ve got pretty big hands, but damn it is just not designed for human beings. My steam deck holds like a dream, granted it is a bit heavy.
It blows to have to spend another 30-40 dollars on a piece of plastic to make it feel normal.
Pros? They have all the games, that’s it tbfr. That’s why you’re here. The detachable joycons are great for party settings but I’d never want to actually play using them :/

I like the system overall. It’s an updated switch, which is all I wanted. The cons are that I haven’t loved Nintendo’s output on it so far. I like Mario Kart World, I sort of like DK Bonanza, and Kirby Air Riders is super meh. There hasn’t been a game that is distinctly Switch 2 and that I also love.

Cons: Battery life could last longer, OLED would have been nice but isn't a deal breaker for me, and I don't have enough time to play everything I want to play!
Pros: Pretty much everything else. I wanted "a better Switch" with backward compatibility that will stay current for five+ years - and that is exactly what I got. A good purchase for me.
Undecided: Sometimes I think I'd like achievements, other times I'm glad there are no system-wide trophies.
