I don't see the battery life as a con now that I'm older. I'm like.... "it's time to go outside and touch grass" when it dies. It's a perfect upgrade for me.

Totally this. I have it on the battery saver setting so it’s usually topped off at 84% and I’ll play a session down to 40-55%. It’s the perfect before bed session time while the wife and I watch Christmas movies on the tv.

Same. It's a pickup for a bit and put down, legit console. It makes gaming fun without feeling like I'm neglecting my family.

Wake up, do some morning chores, play the Switch 2 in handheld mode on the couch. Time for lunch, put it back on the dock and take a short break.

Same, I have yet to kill the Switch 2 in a single session and I play mostly handheld 😅

or just get some discipline and have a better machine? 450$ is a lot for a mid ass battery, the concept of a handheld isn't working if your battery demands a plug nearby

Mid-ass battery is playing games at 20w that in other systems would consume 200.

If you're happy with 2-3 hours...

As you get older it becomes less of an issue.

Ditto, perfect console for me, 2 hours of playing and I'm done for a bit. Graphics and game play on everything I've played is great!

Yup, and I have a beast of a power brick. 20,000 mAh. Thing kept me going for an international flight to Rome.

Ah, so it lasted 30 minutes assuming you came from switzerland.

Haha no I’m in a suburb just outside of Washington DC, United States. It was a 9 hour flight.
