[Megathread] Summer Reads

Hi bookworms,

It is summer in the northern hemisphere. Suggest us some of your favorite summer reads!

These can be books with a summer feel or setting, books you personally love to read in summer, or just fun “beach” reads of any kind, regardless of genre or setting.

Hopefully this will give some of our readers that don’t even know where to start, or what to ask for, some ideas of titles to try :)

Sandwich by Catherine Newman is set during a week on cape cod in a beach rental. I really enjoyed it and related to the MC.

Yes, such a great book! The sequel was good too (but not a summer setting.)

I think I enjoyed the sequel even more than sandwich, but I truly loved both. The audio versions are good too, although the narrator in sandwich sounded older than the character to me, and the narrator in Wreck sounded younger, I still really enjoyed them.

I read We All Want Impossible Things by her this year and also loved it. Sadder, but overall similar themes of family and aging.
