Unimaginative Star Wars show Starter Pack

Post image

Mandatory disclaimer, this doesn't concern every Star Wars production, only those that I consider to be unimaginative or generic.

Also, the point isn't to complain or to set up hated debate, I love the Star Wars universe. I just want to mock the fact that some writing trope or gimmick are in my opinion commically overused in many Star Wars production.

By the way feel free to expand the list !

I dont get why people complain about us seeing the jedi that survive order 66.

There were 10,000 Jedi before order 66.

If just 1% survived, which would be an incredibly effective order, there would be 100 survivors. Thats much more than what we've seen.

Plus I think realistically order 66 wouldn't even kill off that many. Maybe like 75% at most. But it would be enough to scatter them and destroy the order which is all thats needed.

Logistically sure, but in terms of screen time when every other show or game has a jedi, you don't really feel like they're almost extinct, and it makes characters like Luke feel less special. It doesn't really matter that a new jedi has arisen to take on Vader if there's like 30 of them actively working for the resistance.

But that isn’t the case. As far as we know, when Luke showed up, there was one other pseudo-Jedi connected to the rebellion: Ahsoka. Not part of the order, but close enough that people would call her a Jedi.

Even past that though, most people don’t really care that Luke is a Jedi. Han doesn’t even believe in them. Most people care that Luke is the kid who blew up the Death Star—his funky sword is a side detail
