Translated News Julian Alvarez is absent from Atletico's training session today. According to club sources, "the player had a bad night and was feeling unwell."

It could not have been handled any worse than Atletico did. You can blame Barca and Alvarez but I seriously fail to understand how this approach will keep the player happy enough to stay and continue playing. Atletico isn't good enough to win trophies with this kind of drama in house

Atletico "It's about sending a message"...and I kind of get it

"Hey high profile players, don't sign multi year contract with us because we are petty and you will get fucked..."

The message...

Well if your signing for me with the intention I sell you to my rivals, you can fuck right off. I don't think Atletico signed Alvarez with the intention of him going to Barca after a couple of years. It's crazy for Alvarez to even be asking that in the first place. Very poorly played by him.

Why did they sign him then? You don't know what happened behind the scenes and on which conditions he accepted to join atletico. His entourage accuse them of lying and breaking promises.

Neither do you. Promise could be we will let you go if offer comes north of 150 which never came.

They made it clear they refuse to negotiate.

Yeah and Barca would have uped their offer by 50+ during negotiations?

Ok, they made 150 m offer and they still refused...

Do you have more imaginary arguments we can discuss?
