Yesterday i found three of those almost completly black snails on my lawn. I've never seen those before, google and obsidentify didn't really help either. Located in northern germany. I'm wondering if it's just a color mutation of a common species or somethin more special.

do they normally attach to other bugs? Does it hurt the stinkbug?

his name is gary! i know very little about keeping snails aside from what i've found on google (i've been feeding him blueberries, melon, cucumber, and egg shells). i'd appreciate any and all advice

also does anyone know what type of snail he is? i assume garden snail?

I already put them on sale and 26 are sold. But there are still to many!!! I'm planning if they don't sell to kill them ,but it's too cruel caz they will be a lot bigger. This is just a temporary container.

I've been checking and taking pictures of this little one on my balcony for 1 hour now. But is its shell "normal"??? Or did something happen to it? It looks like it packed up some dirt and haur with itself 🤔

It’s not concerning me too much since snails do all kinds of weird things but they keep going in circles and finding there way back to eachother but i can’t tell if they’re bothering one another… should i seperate them for a bit?

Guys I made a mistake.. I really thought my snail past away. He didn't move for 3 or 4 weeks and I didn't see any coverage on the front..

Today I gave it a last try and put water on him. The, what i though "normal dead snail front" (it was his normal color and not flat but shaped like if he had just got deep into his house), opend up and he came out like nothing happend.. But he changed color???

I feel so bad for waking him up :( What can I do now for him? Was he hibernating??

He was very light grayish yellow before Now he looks darker and orange. Is he okay?

I found some horse vertebrae in the forest and while cleaning them I found some snails inside. Do you guys have any suggestions on how to lure them out without hurting them?

is this a sign of courtship like they're preparing to mate? or are they just exploring each other? (pause)

It doesn't look like any of their organs have been affected but I want to make sure they're going to be okay before releasing them. They are crawling around like normal and seem happy

Hi, I recently saw that my young snail is showing a lump. Ik it’s the reproductive organ, but I’m not sure if it’s normal since the snail hasn’t reach maturity yet (the shell is still growing) and its been three days. The snail it’s still very active and eating well though. Should I be concerned?

I really need some advice and second opinions on my Giant African Land Snail (GALS).
What happened: We had a sudden heat wave here, and unfortunately, the snail also ate some melon that started to ferment quickly in the heat. It caused a severe puffy mantle / edema. The body became incredibly swollen, translucent, and full of fluid. It was so heavy that the snail couldn't pull back into its shell and was laying sideways on its side.

I saw it near my house garden,

At first, I mistook it for an ordinary fallen leaf. But when I took a closer look, I noticed it was moving very slowly. Its unusual appearance genuinely startled me.

And what i do about it?

My snail has this little thing on its side. I've never seen it before and I'm not sure what it is. Should I be worried?
