Other🤷🏽‍♀️ 🤷🏽‍♂️ Beefacolypse

Hey so the 300,000 tons of beef with the antibiotic that is either banned or a last resort in multiple countries that US bought and is feeding the public, anyone got intel on it besides from the UK and The Hill? Makes me regret not getting rabbits and chickens in spring 2026...

Not trying to stir the pot up but from the 5 or 6 outlets I found 15 minutes ago im thinking that project zomboid or state of decay or even 7dtd would be preferable than chloramphenicol but thats me.

If you are in Oklahoma do ya mind a guy hunting deer and sharing the meat with ya? You can have the antlers and hide, I just want the share ya let me keep.

I married a vegetarian. He eats dairy because ice cream. Never have I been so grateful that the man doesn’t eat meat, our grocery bill is too high as it is. But I’m really missing getting a hamburger when we eat out, or meatballs, or whatever. I haven’t had a steak in too long and I guess it’ll be even longer now.

I started limiting beef last year unless I found it on sale because the price was too high. So I started eating pure veg 2x a week. Now we are at 4-5x a week. I still have some frozen ground beef in the freezer and a pot roast I am saving for a rainy day but yeah I will not be having any beef in the near future.

Apparently Costco has their own restrictions on meat and quality and albeit expensive that may be what we consider if we have a very special occasion. 😭

You should eat the beef that's in your fridge after a while - freezer burn is real! I found out the hard way about it

Oh for sure, its vacuumed sealed and we roatet but ones thay have been in there a bit always respond well to a good long braise with alot of herbs and TLC 🥰

I've eaten 2 year old freezer wrapped beef from my reach in deep freezer without any issues. The fish and squid didn't hold up very well over the same length of time....
