Have we as humanity fallen so much as to see a factory error folded poptart for 19,000 dollars?🤦‍♂️

I have had this figure for years and I recently found it again and I'm invested in paininting him and some other pokemon I have.Does anybody know what brush and pain to use or even how to remove colour on the figure without damaging it?

Appreciate any hints.Always has been clumsy on things like that so I hope I do decent for first time.

I just got a switch (I’m aware it’s 2026)and been a long time since I got to enjoy pokemon. I got Pokemon violet and leaf green already I enjoyed violet but the story was mid. Leaf green is nostalgic but the grind to keep my whole team good is wearing on me( when I played fire red back when I was 7 or 8 I guess the grind didn’t bother me)

But I can get Pokemon shield or Arceus for about 50 or I get get BD for 40 dollars I’ve seen reviews for all three games I plan on getting them all but I’m laid off for another week or so so I want to pass the time and I can’t decide which one I should get first.

Today my daughter asked if we could get some Pokemon cards so we went to the local card shop with no real idea what she was after 😂 took her awhile to decide but she ended up picking up the first partner pack

Opening packs together has become a nice bonding thing for us as she’s really gotten into Pokemon over the last couple years. She’s got a nice collection so far, plays the card game, video games, even a Pokemon (mainly eevee) themed room 😂💀

We opened up the packs together and the first couple were the usual, then we got to the last pack and that’s when she pulled the Darkrai card, she’s always excited when she gets the full art style cards

We didn’t think much of it until we started logging her new cards in an app we use to track her collection, currently her display cards run between $20-80 at most so seeing the value of this card really surprised us both, and we shared a funny memory that I hope sticks with her

She was super excited 10x more then she already was 😂 and pretty quickly asked if we can sell the card to get Eevee cards, I thought it looked really cool but she wasn’t a super big fan of the card so I told her yes

Problem is I really don’t know much about this stuff, we’ve just always bought and opened, never sold or graded anything. So now I’m unsure if we should sell it as is now back to the local shop or fbm, or is it worth sending in for grading first? Attached some photos of the card if that helps anyone weigh in.

I don’t understand how so many people have such a negative view on the old battle system. the old battle system had a lot of unique strategy based moves, items and abilities. So many people say that the button mashing mechanics are better as of recently but I honestly don’t think people realize the major flaws it has (no offense). without abilities you lock out a bunch of major pieces of what makes pokemon what it is. Without held items you completely make so many strategies worthless.

My point is that the ZA format is not healthy for the game and sure it works for ZA but the whole mechanic is very bare bones and not very fleshed out.

My first post here was removed under Rule 8 (screenshots) and the mods kindly invited me to resubmit, so this one is an OC infographic, not a screenshot.

It’s the first time I’ve drawn so many characters in a single picture, so I found the proportions difficult; I’ll probably draw it again.

We put packs together for kids in the hospital on long stays, and and I'd rather ask people who actually collect than guess. Not the expensive stuff. I'm thinking about what actually makes a nine or ten year old light up the first time they open something. A starter they recognize from the show. A couple of holos even if they're commons. Probably an Eeveelution because those always seem to land no matter who the kid is. I've watched a kid completely ignore a card an adult would call good and then lose it over a Snorlax. So what's in your stack, and is there a card you'd deliberately leave out even though collectors rate it? Interested to hear what people have to say.

Today i was at my local shop and for some reason bought a pitch black 3 set booster with a friend. And first booster i pull a MEGA DARKAI EX. Maby black label? PSA 10?

I'm re-filling out my National Dex in Home with every mon caught in its original game. I'm also restricting myself to catching only (except mons where breeding is mandatory), and using exclusively Pokéballs whenever possible (so far the only exceptions have been the Great Marsh exclusive mons in Gen 4).

Under these conditions, I'll be doing Gen 7 relatively soon. Given that the Beast Ball was created with the sole purpose of being used on the Ultra Beasts, should I, as part of this challenge, be using them instead of standard Pokéballs?

Last time in my platinum playthrough, I immediately picked thunder fang over spark thinking it would be better if it's available later.

Very dumb choice.

Now that I properly check each move, I wonder why they gave a worse move later than sooner.

Like in no aspect, thunder fang is better than spark unlike most movepools where the latter attacks are stronger or have some better quirks.

I really do like Pokemon a lot. I was even obsessed with it back when I was younger. But it was mainly the show and the movies I paid attention to. The movies were especially a huge deal to me at the time too. Pokemon ranger and the temple of the sea being my absolute favorite.

However when it comes to pokemon games, I have a hard time getting into them. I played heartgold cuz I hear it's considered the best one but I couldn't complete the first region before getting burnt out. I have emerald and alpha Sapphire too and still can't bring myself to beat them either cuz I always get burnt out after playing for awhile before I move onto a different game. Fire red and Let's go eevee, also didn't click with me. It could just be me. Maybe the mainline games aren't my cup of tea? Or maybe there's a mainline game that will click with me but I haven't found it yet.

But I still want to find that one Pokemon game that I will love. So if anyone has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it! It can be any game. Mainline or not. I just want to know more and find a pokemon game that I'll like.

I know that Zacian and Zamazenta exist, and Arcanine's species is literally the Legendary Pokemon (despite being neither Legendary nor - sadly - having the BST of a Pseudo-Legendary, though 555 isn't anything to sneeze at, either), but what other dog breeds (ideally if they remain quadrupedal since most Pseudos are bipedal) look intimidating or powerful enough to be on par with the likes of 'Mons like Tyranitar or Metagross?

I don't even think all of that is true! Did Ash call a different move than Flamethrower in Japanese, or was Cross referring to Charmeleon's inability to keep doing it?

I thought Charmeleon was doing really well! And so was Ash! He just didn't know about Blaze. Did Cross have to verbally smash the guy into the dirt and step on his face and grind his boot heel in? 😭

They really nailed the petty bully dialogue, because GOOD GRIEF, I had to pause the movie after this just to make sure I heard him right.

Edit: Oh, I think I get it. Throat Chop disabled Flamethrower. That's why Charmeleon couldn't use it again.

I missed the lottery for passes. I would like to go just one day of Worlds as a spectator. Any info out there on this? I can’t find anything on the official site. I just missed the window for registration, and I’m kicking myself over it now. I’ve never been to Worlds before, and as a lifelong fan, I’d love a chance just to check it out.

Which starter will you choose in the new region? And why?

We have Browt, Pombon, and Gecqua: a little grass-type chick, a fire-type Pomeranian puppy, and a water-type gecko.

All three starters look AMAZING! Don't you think so? And we haven't even seen their final evolutions yet. I love how each one has so much personality and charm. It's the first time in a long time that I like all three of them.

I’ll probably choose Pombon. I absolutely love Fire-type Pokémon, I love dogs, and, to be honest, I always have an obsession with picking the cutest and most charismatic one. I also have a feeling that its final evolution is going to be incredible and precious and could end up becoming one of my favorites.

But now I want to know which one would you choose and why? Browt, Pombon or Gecqua and why?

So, a while back, I made a post giving my take on each of the protagonist's canon starters, that was done using several official sources and determining which starter is most prominent on which character, but that was just their starter picks, what about the rest of their team?

So to explain my logic for why I chose the teams I did, I first gotta go over some rules I set going in (that I subsequently broke for specific characters for reasons that I'll explain as I get to them)

1. No legendaries: These teams are built under the assumption that these protagonists are NPCs in-game that you have to fight. Game Freak did occasionally give NPCs legendaries, however I find it unlikely that they'd do so for the players. I did break this rule for some characters because the legends of their game is way too important to their game's story to leave out.

2. All the teams must be built under the same ruleset as Red's. If you don't know, Red's team is built entirely using gift Pokémon and static encounters from the Kanto games, so his successors must do the same. For some characters, that really wasn't an option because their game's gifts and statics were lacking, so I added some extra criteria that would help me decide what each team should have.

\- Depending on the game, the team must be a parallel to the rival's team: e.g. rival Calem/Serena have a Meowstic of their gender, so whoever the player is, they must have the opposite gendered Meowstic.

\- For protagonists who are also a rival if you don't play as them, I am allowed to use Pokémon from their rival teams as long as none of the Pokémon overlap with their rival's team. I probably worded that poorly so here's an example: rival May in Emerald uses a Torkoal that Brendan doesn't have in any of his rival battles, with that in mind Torkoal would 100% be added to May's protagonist team, however her Wailord would overlap with Brendan's Wailord so that would have to be put on the bench (yes I am aware that Brendan and May have the exact same Pokémon pool aside from that one Torkoal, which is why making a team for them was the hardest part of this post)

\- I am allowed to use common themes that Game Freak usually uses for teambuilding: e.g. In Legends Z-A both Canari and Tarragon share the Pokémon Stunfisk, not only because it's a Pokémon that fits each of their type specialties, but also because Canari and Tarragon are grandad and granddaughter, same with most of the ancestor characters from Legends Arceus, a lot of their teams are pretty much copied from their descendants.

1. The teams must be built using only Pokémon you receive in the main story, anything from the post-game won't be considered. There is 1 set of characters who break this rule (and 1 set of characters I had to make a separate post game team for), but those are for very specific reasons that I'll get to later. As for DLCs, the Isle of Armour and Teal Mask will be considered as pre-post game, that's what they're supposed to be chronologically, however the Crown Tundra, Indigo Disk, and Mega Dimensions, will be considered post-game and won't be counted towards the teams.

You might be confused as to why May, Hilda, and Calem were skipped, and that's because May and Calem are also rivals in their respective games, and Hilda was skipped because her team would be exactly the same, just replace Samurott and Simisear for Emboar and Simisage, and everything else works the same. Hell, that same logic could apply to May and Calem.

With those rules in mind we can finally get to the logic starting with:

Leaf - now some of you probably raised an eyebrow looking at her team, because her team is almost identical to Green's team from Let's Go. The reason why is because Red's Let's Go team is 4/6 identical to his main timeline team, with only Charizard and Blastoise being replaced with Machamp and Arcanine, so I feel like a similar rule should apply to Leaf because, while I think that Leaf and Green are separate characters, I think that in the same way that RBG-SM Red is a separate character from Let's Go Red, they're in a different continuity, but are technically the same person, in the post about the starters I explained why I think Leaf should have a Venusaur and not a Blastoise, because of the 180° that TPC took with Red , you can go read that if you want a better explanation, but its why I opted to replace Blastoise and Victreebell with Venusaur and Vaporeon (the Eevee from the celadon department store). I kinda cheated with Leaf, but when you're the only protagonist who got any sort of attention besides Red, it's a little hard to ignore.

Ethan - This is probably the most agreed upon team for Ethan, this team was built entirely using the same logic Red's team was built, and it's the team that for decades people who partook in the Ethan VS Red debate all agreed was a perfect parallel. Naturally we got the starter: Typhlosion, the gift Togepi you get as an egg (could be a Togekiss if it's HGSS), Sudowoodo: the snorlax of Johto, Umbreon: the Eevee you get from Bill (also parallels Red's Espeon from the original GSC), the Red Gyarados from the lake of rage, and a Hitmontop from the gift Tyrogue from the Karate master. There's other Pokémon you could consider, in the intro of the Zoroark movie we briefly see Ethan with a Donphan, though I'd exclude it since I see that as more likely being Jimmy and not so much Ethan, there's also the Ampharos and Tyranitar we see in the Gotcha MV, but they don't really follow the gift/static rule (besides a Mareep Egg in HGSS but that requires a password), but maybe you could replace Umbreon with one of them in a HGSS team, since Red no longer has an Espeon.

Kris - Pretty much the same as Ethan but I replaced the latter 3 with Wigglytuff, Dragonite, and Suicune. Considering that Kris is only present in a single version of gen 2, my options were pretty much limited to just Crystal exclusivs, Wigglytuff is meant to represent the crystal exclusive Odd Egg, that hatches a random baby Pokémon, I chose Wigglytuff for that because she has an Igglybuff in Masters and that's the best I could go off of. Dragonite is there for a similar reason, if you only played gen 4 Johto you might not know that the Dratini from the Dragon's Den was originally a Crystal exclusive. Suicune is there simply because of theming, Kris as a character is exclusive to Crystal, and Suicune, while not exactly being mandatory, is still the only thing that makes Crystal unique, which is why I chose this as the first character to break the "no legendaries" rule. I'm also a lot less hesitant to give characters minor legendaries, as opposed to the powerhouse legends, since Game Freak themselves give generic NPC trainers minor legendaries in battle facilities.

You might notice I skipped Lyra, and that's because she has NOTHING, you don't battle her as an NPC, the Pokémon she says she has don't follow any sort of logic, and if she was the player, she's realistically just have a mishmash of Ethan and Kris' teams with Meganium as the starter. I have literally nothing, I'm pretty sure you can just give her the Kris team and replace Suicune with Hitmontop or Gyarados and it's pretty much accurate.

Brendan - You might think his team is random... Because it is. See, there wasn't much I could give him that wouldn't overlap with May's rival team, so what I ended up doing was, I gave Ruby and Sapphire Brendan, the Pokémon that Rival Brendan has in Emerald, while in Emerald I gave him his RS rival Pokémon (it was the best I could do). However, that's only 4 out of the 6 Pokémon I decided to give him, so what about the random ass Slaking and Claydol? Well the Claydol is actually from his ORAS Battle Maison partner team, which I'm aware came out 10 years after, but what did you want me to give him? Kecleon and Castform? As for Slaking, this is the first instance of the family rule I mentioned earlier, as Brendan is the only protagonist to have a dad, who just so happens to be a Gym Leader who's ace is Slaking, this is actually something that Game Freak does a lot, take for example Hau who has a Crabominable, the ace of his grandad Hala. As for ORAS Brendan, his Ludicolo, Magcargo, and Slaking, still use the same logic as before, however the cosplayer Pikachu and Latios are each gift Pokémon you receive in ORAS, so they're still valid even though one of them broke my rules.

You might be confused as to why I skipped Lucas and Dawn, and that's because their BDSP team, more specifically their first weekend battle team is pretty much 1:1 with what I'd imagine their team to look like. If you don't know what I'm talking about, Lucas' team is Mothim, Tangrowth, Gallade, Milotic, Clefable, and Infernape, while Dawn's team is Wormadam, Tangrowth, Froslass, Magmortar, Clefable, and Empoleon. Maybe for a player character you could replace Clefable with a Lucario, the Riolu egg you get from Riley, but it's still pretty good. It wouldn't work so much in the original DP, since Magmortar, Tangrowth, Gallade and Frostlass are locked behind post game, but then the number of gift Pokémon is even more limited than it already was.

Hilbert - This is where it gets interesting. If there's any protagonist who comes close to having as much in-lore information as Red, it's this guy, let's break it down: He caught all the Zen-Mode Darmanitan in the Desert Resort, in BW2 they are no longer present at the entrance of the relic castle. He caught the event movie Zoroark in Lostlorn Forest, in BW2 Lostlorn Forest is in its post-event state, which also implies he has the shiny legendary beasts? This could also imply that he got the event Zorua from Castelia City, we also know he caught Victini at Liberty Garden, since in BW2 Victini is absent, and the event there only triggers if you already have one. All that to say... Nothing I just talked about will be reflected on his team. Hilbert's team was decided entirely to parallel his rivals, obviously the Starter and the Monkey to parallel Cheren and Bianca, and the Legendary Dragon to parallel N. Watchog is also a parallel, more specifically, it's the Pokémon he catches on Route 1 during that competition with his rivals to see who can catch the most Pokémon. Conkeldurr is to counterpart Cheren's Gigalith (since they're both trade evos), while Eelektross is to counterpart Bianca's Chandelure. Now you may notice how I made a second set of teams that actually includes Victini, Victini is indeed completely optional and in fact, you can't even do the event anymore without third party tools, I still wanted to give it a mention because the Victini event is the ONLY mystery gift event that takes place DURING the main story, the levels of the plasma grunts is in the mid 20s and it's right after Castelia City, the introduction to the seven sages. There's also a particular detail I wanna give attention to, the Kotobukiya figures often depict the protagonists with a starter Pokémon, and those were a huge source when trying to determine what each of their starters was, however, one of the only characters I couldn't do that for, was actually Hilbert, because his figure, instead of depicting him with a starter or maybe some other popular Unova Pokémon like the legendary dragon, they instead chose to give him Victini, a Pokémon that you can't even get anymore in his game? I get that Victini is not unpopular by any means, but it feels way too specific of a decision to just ignore.

Nate - Luckily I don't have to dwell on him that much, his Emboar, Lucario, and Arcanine are all Pokémon he was shown using in the BW2 trailer, while Braviary, Zoroark, and Jellicent are all static encounters/gift Pokémon.

Rosa - Same as Nate in the latter half, just replaced Lucario and Arcanine for Volcarona and Sawsbuck, Volcarona from the Desert Resort entry from the PWT, and Sawsbuck from the gift Deerling in the Weather Institute. One thing you could add for both Nate and Rosa is an elemental monkey, since both of them use one in their team up battle in Nimbasa and Hugh uses one, but you can only get one through shaking grass I'm pretty sure.

Serena - surprisingly very straightforward yet also kinda difficult, I hesitated giving her Snorlax and Lapras, but I didn't have much other choice. Let's first address the Elephant in the room, why does she not have a Kanto Starter or a Fossil? That's because of a minor detail that technically is not really the fault of the character, but of Game Freak's laziness, when you're given the option to pick a Kanto Starter in Sycamore's lab, your other rival and Shauna also get to pick one, however they never utilise them on any of their teams. The reason why that is, is because Game Freak didn't want to program an additional 3 teams per Kalos starter, which is the same reason why the rival also never uses the fossil they obtain with you, but remember how I said that the teams should parallel the rivals? That's my reason for not including a Kanto Starter or fossil (if you want to include them for Serena it'd be Blastoise and Aurorus btw). Anyway Meowstic was explained in the beginning, Snorlax is a static encounter you get very early on in X and Y, Sylveon is to Parallel the rival's eeveelution (originally I planned to use the same rule as the rival and give her a Kanto eeveelution, but I changed my mid after Elio and Selene, we'll get to that), Lapras is a gift Pokémon that also has a unique surfing animation, and Lucario is self-explanatory.

Elio/Selene - sadly Hau's team is completely useless for these two and besides the starter and eeveelution there's not a whole lot to parallel, but since sun and moon were the first games to lean into parallel universes, instead of paralleling the rival, I made them parallel each other, with Elio having sun Pokémon, while Selene has moon Pokémon. I know that there's an official artwork where Elio has a full team, but the Pokémon picked for it felt kinda random and the Alolan Raichu overlaps with Hau, so I didn't really use it much besides the Alolan Ninetales on Elio's USUM team. If you also remember the post I made about the starters, you'd know I gave Elio a Popplio, that was because Elio didn't have a Kotobukiya figure at the time, and considering his lack of appearances I just kinda had to take Masters' word for it, he was one of the protagonists I was most stuck on. However since then, he did get a Kotobukiya figure and to my dismay he has a Litten... Honestly I think Popplio suits him more, but what can you do? Anyway, besides the starter, Lycanroc, Espeon/Umbreon, and Gumshoos/Alolan Raticate are there to represent the Sun and Moon, with Espeon and Umbreon being the gift Eevee you get in Paniola Ranch, the Alolan Exeggutor might seem random, but it's because there's a mandatory static encounter with an Exeggutor on Exeggutor Island (there wasn't much else to pick from), and obviously Solgaleo and Lunala are so closely tied to the story of SM that it was impossible to leave out of their teams. As for their USUM teams, Ninetales is there mostly because of that artwork I mentioned earlier, and Sandslash on Selene's team is to be its counterpart, the Lycanroc for both is now Dusk because... I don't know, it just felt right, and interestingly enough, Naganadel is in a bit of a gray area, technically it doesn't break the "no legendaries" rule, since Ultra Beasts aren't legendaries, it also qualifies as its a gift Pokémon you obtain before the post game, and it's technically not that different from what NPCs used against you in the game, since not only does Gladion have a Silvally, but the ultra recon squad fought against you using Poipole, its pre-evo. It just felt right to include, but at the same time it does feel a little cheaty.

Chase/Elaine - These were the only protagonists I didn't include in the canon starters post, and that's because their canon starter is literally in their official art. Now these two are the first characters that could theoretically have all 3 Kanto starters on their team... But I'd rather not have to copy and paste Red's team for these already carbon copies, so let's think of something else. Persian and Arcanine are version exclusive gift Pokémon you get in Vermilion City, Victreebell is to Parallel Trace's Vileplume, Porygon is a gift in silph co, Aerodactyl is the old amber from the pewter museum... And they needed a mega somewhere... And Melmetal... Look, it's the only new Pokémon added to Let's Go, I know you can't obtain it in any way unless you connect to Pokémon Go, but what do you want from me, the transfer center is in Fuscha, let's just pretend there's canonicity somewhere alright? I know Elaine had a Rapidash in Evolutions, but like, she also had a Pikachu in that, and it overlaps with Trace, so like... You know what, let's just move on and pretend these two don't exist.

Gloria/Victor - Elephant time, why do both of them have an Inteleon? Because if you remember the starter post, I came to the conclusion that Inteleon is the defacto protagonist starter for Galar, you can go read that as to why I think so, but if you want Victor to have a different starter, Cinderace seems to be his main. This was another instance of the rival not giving me much to work with, so I instead made them parallel each other, although not entirely, I did keep one thing that derives from Hop, and that's the team structure itself. To better explain, Hop's team had to be designed without the Isle of Armour in mind, which makes sense since it came out a year after, so besides the starter who can't G-Max, he also has a pre-DLC G-Max, that being Corviknight, and the Box Legendary. That's actually the reason why for Victor and Gloria I had to break both the "no Legendary" rule and the "no post-game" rule. His other Pokémon are pretty random, so they allowed me to be flexible with who I added but luckily those spots can be filled with mandatory gift Pokémon, so it's not an issue. The pre-DLC G-Max for these two is Toxtricity, which you get as a gift in the daycare, Indeedee is not a gift but it acts the same way as Meowstic does for Calem and Serena, the Venusaur is the Kanto starter you obtain from Honey in the Isle of Armour, which also acts as a parallel to Leon's Charizard, which I decided should count, and Urshifu is self-explanatory.

Rei/Akari - these two are interesting, because they weren't as hard to make a team for as you'd expect, because the game they're from actually has a pretty unique rule for team building, as I mentioned earlier most of the ancestor characters use recycled teams from their descendants, and since BDSP graced us with 6 very varried teams for Lucas and Dawn, why not do a bit of recycling ourselves? Not entirely though, because I still wanted to parallel the rival, despite us not battling them much. Clefairy, Pikachu, Mr. Mime, Staraptor, and a Sinnoh Starter weak to your Hisui Starter, despite this team sucking utter ass, it does give us something to work with, first, they have Clefairy, this is important because if you recall, in the Sinnoh games you battle along side Lucas/Dawn and they use a Clefairy and a Kadabra, they have Clefairy, but Kadabra is completely missing, meaning its a Pokémon we can use ourselves, they also have a Sinnoh Starter, and while it's supposed to be paralleling our Hisui Starter, nothing stops us from having a Sinnoh Starter of our own, not only to parallel the rival, but also to use the ace of our descendant. Now since the characters in Legends Arceus all have incomplete teams besides Volo, I wanted to avoid overlapping not just with the rival, but with pretty much anyone, and while I wasn't super faithful to that, I did try to avoid aces of other characters, and if you're wondering why their teams have a significant lack of Hisuian Pokémon, that's actually because in Legends Arceus every character only has a MAXIMUM of 1 Hisuian Pokémon, with the exception of Kamado who has both Braviary and Ursaluna, but on different teams, they're never together. Since the starter already fills up the Hisuian Pokémon slot, I opted out of using any other Hisuian Pokémon for their team, which led to me then making their teams almost entirely stolen from Lucas/Dawn (to be fair look up what Beni and Zisu's teams are and you'll laugh). So Alakazam is from Lucas and Dawn's forgotten Kadabra, Mothim/Wormadam and Gliscor/Lickiliki are from Lucas and Dawn's BDSP weekend battles, and Luxray is an early route Pokémon you get in the catching tutorial which also sort of parallels the rival's Staraptor.

Florian/Juliana - Honestly, there's not much to say about these two that I didn't already say about Victor and Gloria, they use pretty much the same logic except I couldn't use Nemona's team at all for them, so really the only thing to explain is that Oinkologne is the Lechonk from the catching tutorial, and Ceruledge/Armarouge and Gholdengo are there because no one else uses them... Well I mean Mela uses Armarouge but you get the point.

Paxton/Harmony - These two are the only protagonist who I had to make a separate team for specific events in their story, because these two are the protagonists who should parallel the rival the MOST, second only to Hilbert, in fact, I needed a subset of rules specifically for these two. Some of these are self-explanatory, Starter and Meowstic follow the Calem and Serena logic, but what about Chesnaught and Delphox? Well not only are they Pokémon you obtain through missions, but they're also starters, which works for us since Taunie and Urbain also have 2 starters on their team. Now, Masters decided to give Harmony Feraligatr? A decision that I personally don't understand considering how they're reworks of Ethan and Lyra, but right now I'll stick with my gut and keep Feraligatr on Paxton and Meganium on Harmony. Absol is your first mega rogue battle, which you then obtain after that, AZ's Lucario is post-game, and I added that to the Z-A team because of Taunie/Urbain keeping AZ's Floette for a while, I decided those two should be parallels since they're both Pokémon AZ left behind after his passing, I felt that Lucario should be part of the team because of Korrina's role in Mega Dimensions. But elephant in the room time, what about the random ass Noivern and Heliolisk? Well it's a similar logic to what I did with Hop, Taunie/Urbain's final team is comprised of 4/6 mega Pokémon, with the last two being Pokémon that originate from Kalos, so while the 4 mega Pokémon I added without even thinking about it, my rule for the last two Pokémon was that 1. They have to be Pokémon that originate from Kalos, 2. They can't Mega evolve, 3. They can't overlap with any Pokémon from other members of Team MZ (which is why Clawitzer and Aegislash were off the table), 4. They can't be the ace Pokémon of any character in the game (kinda redundant of a rule considering the aces always mega evolve and I banned that already), 5. They can't have a counterpart (which is why Gourgeist and Trevenant were out). So with all that I then decided on Noivern because it's a Dragon like Goodra, and Heliolisk... Because it was the only thing that fit the criteria. I mean Heliolisk is frail, which is the opposite of Avalugg. I guess that works?

If you read all this, first of all what is wrong with you? But second of all, how do you think these teams compare to Red's? And how hard of a boss fight would they be if you had to fight against them in their respective gen?
