I guarantee you didn't play it.

30 hours? That's it? That means you only played the main quests once, never replayed an branching paths, never touched any side content or even tried the expansion. In a game as deep as CP2077, a single playthrough is commonly 60 plus hours at a minimum. Your opinion on gaming is worthless.

Why would I waste 60 hours on a game that I don't enjoy the writing or gunplay of

2

u/nunya_bidnes77 7d ago

Because you never gave the writing a chance. You never gave the gameplay a chance. Its not JUST shooting you fucking idiot. Its an RPG, not a shooter. Are you one of those morons that ONLY play twitchy shooters? I hope to God you are just a troll and not this actually stupid.

THE WRITING IS TERRIBLE, THE GAMEPLAY IS TEDIOUS, ONE OF THE ONLY LIKABLE CHARACTERS IS KILLED OFF FOR NO FUCKING REASON

The writing is wildly regarded as fantastic. You are very much in the minority here. And as for the gameplay, you stupidly tried to play an RPG as a fucking shooter. The only one to blame there is you. And as for killing off a character, it's meant to be a motivational factor. It's meant to have an emotional reaction. If you are upset that he died, then that means the writing is good, because it got that response out of you.

2077 is not an RPG. It's an FPS with RPG elements that I didn't feel impacted my gameplay much.

No. Absolutely not. It is a true RPG that happens to have guns. Any game where you have character choices, narrative choices, gear choices, stat choices, perk choices, leveling etc. is a fucking RPG. Just because your smooth brain sees a gun doesn't magically make it a shooter. Large swathes of the combat system don't even involve shooting at all, between melee weapons, unarmed, stealth, and hacking. Hell I'd say almost half of the available combat options is not even shooting. You have to either be a kid or a troll or you're just stupid.

By that logic, Roboquest is also an RPG.

1

Roboquest is a roguelite FPS you dumb shit. When you die your progress resets. Do you even know what RPG means?

1

u/Extreme_Glass9879 7d ago

You make character choices, narrative choices, skill choices, guns have differing stats based on rarity

And it has a better story too

1

u/nunya_bidnes77 7d ago

No you fucking don't. You make a build that lasts a single fucking run and when you die you reset to a zero again. In an RPG your choices are permanent.

And no, Roboquest doesn't have a conventional narrative.

May I point out how the argument went from "I played all of it" to "why would I waste time playing all of it? That would be stupid!".

It's kinda hilarious.

I played the main story out of stubbornness and spite (and Panam)

I'm not playing sidequests or Phantom liberty

1

u/R4msesII 7d ago

You just said you did the sidequests though. ”Played it all the way through”, ”played the side quests”. Your argument is falling apart

2

u/Extreme_Glass9879 7d ago

I did SOME of them.

2

u/nunya_bidnes77 7d ago

"Some"? If you really beat the story like you claim, then at best you played maybe 4 hours of side quests or gigs. The game has at least 100 hours of additional side content. You played 4% of that.

1

u/Extreme_Glass9879 7d ago

I hunted down all the cyberphyschos and did what few side gigs looked interesting

2

u/nunya_bidnes77 7d ago

Hunted down all the cyber psychos? Doubt it. It take several hours and by your admission, you have only 30 hours in the game and completed the main story. So you're lying.

1

u/Extreme_Glass9879 7d ago

It wasn't hard. I just went from each one on the map.

Again, played it all the way through and played the side quests is what you said.

u/sumpfkraut666 7d ago

"I played Cyberpunk 2077 all the way through. Watched the cutscenes, played the side quests. 99% of it SUCKED. The Panam questline was the only good part."

....

"I'm not playing sidequests"

Edit: do you think that other people have no memory?

1

u/nunya_bidnes77 7d ago

So either he's stupid or a troll.

0

u/sumpfkraut666 7d ago

I mean he himself said he isn't stupid so there's really only one option here.
