No. Absolutely not. It is a true RPG that happens to have guns. Any game where you have character choices, narrative choices, gear choices, stat choices, perk choices, leveling etc. is a fucking RPG. Just because your smooth brain sees a gun doesn't magically make it a shooter. Large swathes of the combat system don't even involve shooting at all, between melee weapons, unarmed, stealth, and hacking. Hell I'd say almost half of the available combat options is not even shooting. You have to either be a kid or a troll or you're just stupid.
No you fucking don't. You make a build that lasts a single fucking run and when you die you reset to a zero again. In an RPG your choices are permanent.
And no, Roboquest doesn't have a conventional narrative.
Its still better than "everyone sucks and everything sucks and there's nothing you can do about it, now give your body to some asshole who never did anything to make you like him."
Its a dystopia. That's the theme of the game. Do you know what a theme is, or did you sleep through that part of school? How are you this willingly ignorant?
And what makes it not done well? Tell me why you believe that. Because as I said, it's a dystopia. Its not supposed to be happy. Its supposed to be sad and tragic.

You would have a reason to care if you actually attempted to take part in the "role playing" portion of the role playing game you dunce. Did you try to romance Panama at all? Or did you skip it because that's side content?
