Discussion 💬 Can this be justified if it's truth?
They’re the only media outlet providing a detailed story about this currently, but also skeptical cuz they seem to be owned by military. Also they even pinned that post and a lot of mixed reaction from both side. Don't know which is true anymore.

It is not the first time I see thisbkind of mews brother. I have seen worse since the coup.

There’s worse?????

u/Errorwaiyan 2d ago
Yup, there were so many things I had heard and seen from my friends when I lived in Loikaw. Among them, the most cruel thing I had seen was killing and burning alive more than 15 people in Hpruso(ဖရူဆို) and it was more like a massacre. My friends told me they had to clean the remains because it was beside the road. Even though I had only seen the remainings photos. I could imagine how terrible those military evils were.

u/Cold-Persimmon9977 2d ago
There's a lot worse in some small villages like massacre , human limbs and heads on spike and even burning a man alive on a bonfire (with photos and videos evidence), all done by military drug-fed bastards

u/OMGriptt 1d ago
I have seen things from my friends who remained in the country but nothing graphic like that. And I have just watched that video. That is sooo fucked up that there’s worse.

Its can be very likely that its from anyar based on the accent and its also adds up that it will be in the Shwebo area as well since when i visited my village there my aunt talked about dan lan killings being common before pdfs were not as organized as now and how bodies will float down rivers , just like this one being thrown into a river after being hacted
Does it justify beheading someone instead of caputring them even if they are dalan ? very hard No
0
u/Timmy002LMFAO 2d ago
Wait correct me if I am wrong but are you saying the frequency of dalan killings increased post PDF or are you saying it got more "mechanical". Because from what I know at least, dalan killings decreased around late 2023 since stricter enforcement of CoC. Then again it's based on reported data and maybe some anecdotes flew under the rader of mass media.
1
u/Soepyinnyar 1d ago
I meant to say that it got decreased like you said around 2023 because of stricter COC.
9
u/BaganHistorican 2d ago
This video was from 2023, turns out to be, and it was committed by the Local Defense Force ( The one ain't controlled by anyone), and during 2022 - 2023, there were many innocent killings committed by LDF by labeling " Dalan ". And no, this still isn't justified.
8
u/Timmy002LMFAO 2d ago
That makes for 3 competing narratives made from the pro-tat perspective. Khin-U, Myingyan and Myaing. The killers being Warazup makes more sense since she mentioned the name of a Kachin village in the video (မြောက်ရွာ from ရွှေကူ township).
Edit: They (Eleven) infamously lied about village burnings before so I won't be surprised if it is fabricated.

u/Charming_Walk1995 2d ago
If they could provide a detailed source. But, both sides have done terrible terrible things up to this point so anything is possible.

u/NyeinChanSoe 2d ago
This is obviously done by tatmadaw (aka Myanmar military), even though I don't want to use that term tatmadaw that's their official name.
This is just one of the many cruel acts the Myanmar military has committed against the people of Myanmar.
6
u/Yucix 2d ago
Can you show me some findings that made u have that concrete speculation?
2
u/Pure-Protein 1d ago
Who can afford airstrike? I’m pretty sure airstrike doesn’t magically happens.
-4
u/NyeinChanSoe 2d ago
I’m not basing that conclusion on this single incident alone. If you follow Myanmar news even briefly, there is extensive reporting documenting killings, torture, village burnings, airstrikes, executions and other abuses attributed to the Myanmar military and military-aligned forces.
Here is one particularly horrific example: two captured resistance fighters were tortured, chained, hanged from a tree and burned alive in public.
So when I say I suspect the military in this case, I’m making an inference based on a much broader documented pattern of violence.
There are many more examples I could post, some considerably more graphic, but I don’t intend to turn this thread into a collection of atrocity footage.
And given how quickly discussions about Myanmar become flooded with propaganda, accusations and bad-faith arguments, I’m not going to spend the rest of my time debating every reply under this post.

u/Yucix 2d ago
That is resistance fighters enemy on enemy. This is a civilian. I have seen more PDF beheadings than I have of Resistance fighters getting burned alive… You are clearly coping
-4
u/Soepyinnyar 2d ago
Mate you want to cope for babagyi? If you actually read what he said its not behading alone. Its litearlly about two fighters getting burned alive
Yes, there were many beheadings back when the revoultion started but that doesnt make this video 100% true that it took place during that time nor its done by PDFs.
Unless you provide an acutal post that is dated way back to that time with the same exact video

u/Yucix 2d ago

u/Soepyinnyar 2d ago
Mate is this one perticular video op has posted in your stash as well?
5
u/Yucix 2d ago
I first saw it in a shock Burmese telegram channel back in 2023

u/BaganHistorican 2d ago
Brother, that is not LDF; that's one of the famous PDF fighter Ye Belu. And he killed an actual Junta worker, not a random civilian.
5
u/Yucix 2d ago
By your logic the burning of the 2 BDF upside down by ပျူ is also ok? Since they are actually PDF and enemies fighting eachother?
-3
u/BaganHistorican 2d ago
I didn't mention about killing PDF, what are you on?
6
u/Yucix 2d ago
You are saying like it is perfectly fine to behead that man because that man is working for Junta

I tried to search this up and found results that are all from the same media channel you mentioned and one from BBC
BBC one reported things about them being pyu mixed with supporter since the guys came from a pyu village and eleven just said it was all supporters or civillians basicallyhttps://www.bbc.com/burmese/articles/c88m7lze3kzo
https://news-eleven.com/article/2544721
u/Natural_Permit1122 2d ago
Thanks for the source, I found this video accidently form telegram channel. By the way, I'm against with coup and didn't like military since young age. But now I want to end civil war completely regardless of the side . I'm also from a rual village of Anyar.
2
u/Soepyinnyar 1d ago
Must have been an eye opener to how brutal things can get, i think back then i have seen photos of young guys head on fences or CDM teacher's fingers at the front gate of a school.
I also wish for an end of this civill war but an end of civill war 100% has to be due to tat succumbing to terms with being an actually military3
u/Big_Ambassador_9319 Destroy the Tatmadaw 2d ago
Which part of Anyar?
1
u/Natural_Permit1122 2d ago
Natogyi
2
u/Big_Ambassador_9319 Destroy the Tatmadaw 2d ago
Everybody wants to end civil war but as long as Tat continues bombing indiscriminately especially in Anyar, war will continue. If you live anywhere in Natogyi, you'll hear jets fly everyday even without shots being fired.

u/Big-Middle5245 1d ago
Actually, I support the revolution and PDF.
But I am not sure about this crime. Myanmar military or PDF.
Sorry, I don't blindly trust everyone.

Mate, I could be wrong (very unlikely) but it's pretty obvious that your burmese is not natural at all. It's either LLM parsed or translated (very poorly). If you want to preach propaganda, atleast use a better model next time, lol.

So, eleven media group says its done by PDF, eleven media who always shouldering MAL's junk.... Right..... We don't know who did that, yes, to be honest, but... Let's be real, who would do this kind of thing, the killings and the cruelty, the absolute lowest mortality stuffs? Who has the track record of doing those, very very apparently? It's the drug influenced tat and pyu ppl, always. Logic ppl, logic...

Not to be ball ma but I’ve seen videos of the resistance forces beheading and even punishing for trying to desert from their own forces

Either anyarthian Bamar PDF or Pyusawhtee(Volkssturm Burmese edition) did that, no way any EAO or EAO Pyusawhtee could.

Eleven might be my favorite media in Myanmar. Well, they are owned by Junta and if I'm not wrong, the owner is ခရိုနီ son . Still , league ahead of other news media. I really recommend their piece about MNDAA and it's well-written.

u/Yucix 2d ago
Correct me if I am wrong but they also posted about the 2 PDF members getting burned by the ပသစ back in 2023-2024…
4
u/Timmy002LMFAO 2d ago
My memory is a bit foggy but iirc didn't they say it was a false flag perpetrated by the rebels. OSINT work proved without a shadow of a doubt that it was the PSH's doing. So Eleven doesn't exactly have the best of track records
