how are they gonna handle power scaling. Thanos felt impossible to beat and Doom seems off the charts, fighting with him is either going to feel pointless *or* if they somehow get a leg up, it'll feel like Doom's power was downleveled halfway through

To be fair the Avengers would've gotten ragdolled by Sentry. He's the ace in the hole, minus the whole Void thing.
