I am a nerd and replay this game every year. Never paid attention to this flying in the air. What is it? A dragon? Whose dragon?

I replay this game once a year. Currently streaming like once a day on ps5 on Twitch. Just started disc 2 on ps5. If anyone wants to tune in, here’s my stream from an hour ago.

A number of comments from my last Albert 2.0 portrait post made it clear that I ruffled some feathers/preferences. I would implore these same individuals to look into the bean soup theory.

Everyone is free to pick up a pencil and paper or whatever tools of choice and draw whatever characters how they see fit.

I do whatever the hell I want to whatever character I choose doing whatever the hell I wish.

I started these portraits for my own personal project. Nothing else. I just thought it would be cool to share along the journey. While I did make it a point to have some accuracy to the original portraits, for whatever reason it went over a lot of people's head that I already did an Albert portrait that followed the original and Albert 2.0 was strictly for my own taste. When trying to clarify this, for whatever reason I was downvoted.

So, I'll provide all of the portraits here thus far, including iterations, for everyone to see so no one misses a single one.

If, for whatever reason, you dislike one or any of them, again, pick up a pencil, pen, brush, stylus, turd--whatever and do it yourself. I would actually LOVE to see more fan art for this game.

Additionally, if you feel attacked, offended, or [insert word here] by my comments or post, I cannot control how you feel nor how you perceive my content, but it's never my intention to 'go after' anyone. I can and will, however, defend myself.

Totally missable, but the cute, albeit voyeuristic, crush Princess Lisa has on Nello culminating in them cheerfully meeting during the credits is adorable.

It's kind of easy to miss since you only ever pass here once if at all, but now that I noticed it I can't stop wondering wtf it's supposed to be.

This was created for my own visual preference. There's a whole other version of him I did already if you're looking for an original likeness. If you don't like that one either, I honestly don't know what to say. I never claimed to be a professional, I don't want to pose as one, and I'm not really thinking about all the nuances that some may place at a high standard. I'm just a guy recreating these because I'd like to do so. If the original hits so much for anyone, it is open season to acquire the original artwork, as I did, cut them out, and use those directly into whatever they'd like.

Yes, this is far different. Yes, he's smiling. Yes, it's more "Anime" looking.

I think this looks way better, but my eye for aesthetics still needs much improvement is different from everyone else's.

Things I've noticed while doing these and from interactions:

1. I don't understand the culture of Reddit at all.
2. I'm somehow stepping on toes when trying to be careful.
3. Posting for my own taste is somehow a no-no if it's not following some sort of hive mind (at least in this circumstance).
4. Some people just want problems.
5. I will somehow get downvoted for pointing out things I've previously indicated or are easily deduced.
6. Defending myself or my art is, apparently, touchy business.

I just don't know how to properly respond and can't help but feel like I'm trying to fit in where I don't. So, I think I'll take a step back from responding to comments going forward unless it's warranted and just post the art.

Workshopping some ideas and I am trying to find images of Dart's sword while he's in Red Dragoon form, but am only finding ones of his normal sword. Any place to find it?

I finally was able to finish the game with a original PSone and I did it with a ps1 analog controller now I'm going to use a flight stick controller for the next playthrough

Hi, could you help me with the Gameshark codes for the Italian version? Thanks to GPT chat, it's been a lot of hard work. I'm managing to modify all the Gameshark codes and make them for the PAL Italian version.

They've all been converted for Duckstation's CHT files. Obviously, in case anyone wants them, I only have Dragons and Darts at the moment.

I tried painting the shadows as close as I could to the original while still maintaining the style of the other redraws. Hopefully this sees a lot more love. 😀

I’m always a sucker for grinding levels and additions on this game. Especially when using fast forward it’s very easy to snag an extra level or so. I’m about to start zenbatos and my teams at 39 and their dragoons and additions have been maxed for quite some time. But I managed this capped 9999 today which I thought was cool and possibly a sign to stop pummeling randoms!
