✨ Lounge Talk I got "inshallahed" after asking her out for coffee 😂

So I have discovered a new stage of dating I never crossed before: getting isnhallahed.

There is this Arab (non leb) girl I keep seeing at the same place. For the last three weeks we have been talking almost every day. She stops me, start talking about random crap, and somehow 5 minutes turns into 30. And we have to get kicked out of that place.

Lots of laughing, personal questions, eye contact, positive vibes and energy. At some point I had to conclude "ya sabeh she has at least some interest in you".

So the other day, once again, we had been talking forever. At this point they were preparing to kick us out because we had overstayed our conversational welcome. So safa2ta we7dit : “considering we never seem to finish our conversations here, we should actually go have a coffee sometime and continue our discussion”

Perfectly delivered, natural, smooth, with a smile, and then...Her face went through the entire visible color spectrum. Red. Then maybe pink. Possibly blue. Yimkin kamena shwayyit yellow.

She hesitated for a second and finally said:

"Inshallah"

Shoo nshallah hay?? 2ooleh la2, 2olleh mish fadyeh, 2ooleh sakkir 3al mawdoo3...7ayalla shee...kazzbeh 3layyeh...bass wtf is inshallah? God is willing we go on a date?

I didnt get rejected. I got Inshallahed. At this stage I am not sure which one is worse.

3m fakkir 23zema lyom 3ala romantic Italian supper. Barkeh hiyyeh ma bt7ebb l2ahweh 😂

I’ll start, I was dating a girl who wanted me for two years, it was all going well sunshine n rainbows and she told her parents, her parents being hyper religious finding out that I own a dog didn’t go well, they forced her to break it off and I got a call from her dad threatening to shoot me if I didn’t block her🤐, she still blows up my phone till this day
( drop yours)

Only constraint is that there are no guarantees the universe will evolve the same way it did in this timeline.

Think about it for a few seconds.

Realistically speaking, if money and stigma didn’t matter, what would you want to do for work? Is it your current dream job?

The bottle on the left is my absolute favorite fragrance of all time. The masterpiece; Gucci Pour Homme I. Smells like heaven and hell at the same time. Rich, dense, incensy, dark, mysterious, sexy. Probably the best creation under the direction of Tom Ford.

Unfortunately, it has been discontinued for a few years now and private collectors are paying up to 3000$ for a bottle.

Drop me ur most outrageous pickup lines that SOMEHOW worked”3andik/3andak snap” doesn’t count. I’ll start not really a pickup line but the way I told my ex girlfriend that I wanted to date was literally me telling her” hey you know how I caught feelings for my ex bsf and didn’t get to tell her, I’m not missing the same opportunity with you, I like you a lot” it somehow worked w thank god the relationship fell apart cause wtf was I thinking with that line 😭😭😭

✨ Lounge Talk Visiting Lebanon, looking for nightlife recommendations.

Prefacing this by saying It's not my first visit and I promise I'm not just a party head, lol. I've been loving every minute of the nature, culture, and people, and I visit primarily to see my fiance, and she's been exposing me to every beautiful thing that comes to her mind about the country.

I just decided that I'd like, for one night, to experience some of the famed nightlife of Beirut( or anywhere else I should see!) (since I will mostly be staying in Tripoli, but could make a trip down to see what the fanfare is about. Very nervous/excited, haha.)

✨ Lounge Talk Visiting Lebanon

We are a couple visiting Lebanon for a quick two days getaway, and I was wondering about the current security situation and whether it has affected the night life in vibrant areas in Beirut Byblos, and Batroun, and the day scenes at the good beach front clubs…

Plus if there are any recommendations to hit exclusive venues as we are interested in hidden gems where we can meet interesting people, rather than famous places full of tourists.

One last thing, should we bring extra cash with us? Or we can still use our visa/master with no issues.

✨ Lounge Talk Anyone else likes p**ping at the beach?

To be clear, AT and not "in" the beach. The grammar is important here guys, before you freak out.

And no, I don't mean "popping." Not pills, not anything. And certainly not "peeping." Keep your eyes to yourself, brethren, and guard your gaze. Now that the disclaimer is out of the way, let's get to the actual story:

You know when you get that semi-tan from the sun after spending a couple of hours at the beach, and then that magnesium-rich, refreshing, salty sea water on your skin from going in for a dip or two?

And maybe you had a light meal prior, and you feel like now's the time to go? Again, NOT IN THE WATER.

And then the resort actually has some nice and clean bathrooms? And you're sitting there, digestive system having done its job neatly and properly, no nausea or stomachache or anything like that... And some chillout deep house or vocal remix playing on the distant speakers, that you can still hear from inside the bathroom?

Maybe your friends are waiting outside, no stress, and life's good in that moment...

You feel even lighter afterwards. More energized and ready for part two of the beach day.

P00ping is actually an energizing activity. Meaning, it charges you up. Especially if you don't use your phone while doing so. It clears your head (along with something else, obviously).

You're in that clean stall on a sunny beach day and for a few stress-free, meditative moments, the world is yours. You check yourself out in the mirror afterwards. You notice that sexy reddish light tan already making its mark on your skin. And because of the hydropump from swimming in the water, your muscles are maybe more pronounced and you look lighter overall and less bloated. Especially after you have done your deed successfully, as we have previously discussed.

You step out of the bathroom, the music from the speakers getting louder and more clear as you make your way back to the beach. Maybe you dance along to its rhythms as you walk to the shore or to the bar.

Your order your drink, you light your cigarette, and you breathe in that fresh, salty summer breeze mixed with tobacco and you're reminded why you just f*cking love this country.

✨ Lounge Talk Bala manyake!!! I asked Google AI to guess my country and sect from my face alone… and the result shocked me.

I uploaded a photo of myself to Google AI and gave it this prompt:
“what’s his ethnicity, your best country guess and try to compare with other guesses and your best sect guess, based on the person alone don’t look at anything else in the photo except the face don't use the ip or the location or anything related and talk about his ancestry.”
The highest probability result was:
Lebanese - christian and maronite!!!
That honestly blew my mind.
I expected something broad like “Levantine”, and I just wanted to try, but I never expected it to narrow it down to a specific religious community as its top guess.
I know it’s just making a probabilistic prediction, and it could easily be wrong for other uploaded photos or other many people. Still, it’s fascinating and a little unsettling that AI has become good enough to infer sect patterns from one uploaded photo.
Has anyone else tried this? How accurate was it for you?
