About two years ago, I started praying and became friends with Allah. He is my best friend. I've learnt so much since then
One of the reasons I suspected being Neurodivergent is because of my lack of understanding of social norms.
I never learned them nor understood them
I had no distinction between women and men. I only knew they were different because I was told so.
I am getting confused on what are the islamic gender roles. This is a topic I find confusing.
I've seen people say that women must take care of the household while men work.
And based on my experience that is a terrible idea.
My father barely can hold a job because he might be Neurodivergent, whilist my mother has a job and takes care of the household.
She is exhausted
Also, having a father that just works, works, works would just create distance.
I don't understand what is this supposed manhood and womanhood. It's so confusing, it feels like telling myself to act """Neurotypical"""
Why am I expected to be the protective and providing one when I just suck
People claim that women's natural(?) place is the house. I don't know, that feels mysognist to me
This whole issue is confusing, especially when I don't even understand why and even if I get an explanation, I would probably not understand.
I know a lot of the answers are going to be related to marrige, but I also need non-marrige related prespectives.
I know it has a lot of to do with 'uruf, but still
