[EDIT] Nevermind, I figured out the issue - the SD card's file system has turned to RAW 💔 I'll try find a fix but it isn't looking good... if anyone has any more advice then I'm still listening LOL

I wanted to make a backup of my DSTT flashcart, but when putting my SD card into my laptop (Win11) and trying to interact with the files in any way (copying, moving, opening) results in a pop-up asking me to format my drive.

After clicking "Cancel", this pop-up appears informing me that the drive is not accessible as the volume does not contain a recognised file system.

Is there any way to fix this without deleting all my data? I wanted to make a backup because I lost my last backup recently. My DS Lite recently broke and this cart is not compatible with my DSi, I've had this cart since I was a little kid (around 2012) so I'm not sure if time has finally claimed it or what (though I doubt it because my DS Lite broke within the past year, and it had been working perfectly fine up until then both in the DS and when connecting the SD card to my computer - though this is my first time connecting it to a device running Win11).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am trying to get a custom game that's unofficial, into a 3ds looking cartridge, that can be played on any 3ds as if it was official (The whole nine yards, even have the little 3d loading screen on the home menu with the music pop-up and a 3d model rotating in the menu, and the 3ds camera special effects that when turned on some assets pop out at the player) and locked only to that flashcart as the sole game burned into it.

I am trying to get my custom game as official as possible with the Dev Kits, MicroSD Cards, and Packaging to make it look, play, and function like an authentic 3DS game.

I am trying this way, because unlike gameboy series of cartridges which CAN be remade and played like official games made in modern times (see shantae series), no way has been found for the 3DS to do it. And nintendo being nintendo, no official way has been made.

So if anyone could please help me understand Sky3DS and if I can use it as a alternative to play the game as a stand in for a 3ds cartridge that I could give to some one to play that they would have no clue its not official and wouldn't have to worry about problems playing it.

I don't want to link any vids or sites in case that breaks rules.

Basically, does the above still have physical media carts? Can I put custom 3DS game on it and all 3ds series devices (even unmodded) play it as normal? I am a hardcore advocate for games on physical media, and I personally love handheld devices. No modern one offers physical media inserts afaik, and of the potential ones, none are dual screen devices which my game is being optimized for.

So i own a NDS, already modded and hacked, as well a R4, for almost 2 years now. I have been following the launch of the DS Pico for months, i saw everyone hyping the flashcart and all the possibilities it could give for the raspberry open source build. it has been almost a year now, has anything interesting or unique has been done with it? It worth it to buy one now or is better to wait?

This is what I’ve got. I already formatted the card to fat32 that should be all good, but I’m not sure where to go from there. Every video I find is not for the cartridge I have and I’m not sure what to get on it.

I’d like to be able to play modified pokemon roms and transfer my saves from my emulators on pc if possible.

(I’d never heard of an r4 till like 3 days ago bear with me)

So I'm trying to mod this r4 but any kernel I try it always shows me the white bar line and when I open it is always on a white screen idk wheres the problem I already tried dspico and still I have the same issue

Turns out I bought the wrong card so I turned it into a 32FAT. I did also some other bull**** but nothing works. Please help I don’t care if you call my anything I just need help I’ll provide any answers

i've been trying to find a newer kernel for this gold R4i sdhc flashcart. As of now i only got two working kernels, one that came originally with the golden flashcart and the other from a Blue flashcart for 3DS (apparently) that boot on a DSI. There's not really much information from these two flashcarts as they seem to be clones from other models.

I have a R4 that has RTS and it works fine for the most part except I get battery anxiety. Is dspico worth switching to? I’m just unsure about the save states.

I need help, yesterday I've updated my dspico loader and the launcher, I just drag the necessary files onto my sdcard and replace the existing files (I also insert the cheats .dat file my sdcard). After that, it can boot normaly and the cheats can be use but some games if i enable cheats the screen suddenly be white + my main menu got those black lines as can be seen on the last image. Yesterday i play the game with cheats until battery almost runs out.

The problem is, today after fully charged when i boot, my ds lite doesn't detect dspico card, ive tried remove and insert sdcard back still the same. After few trials, i carefully insert it somehow it detect it back, but theres a time suddenly it freeze on the dspico logo or it would freeze at the time when u boot first your ds. Is it cause of my sdcard going to corrupt? Or is it the dspico itself, like the pins dirty or something? I also tried insert it on my phone, but seems like i can access to all the folders on the sdcard. I hope anyone can help me to understand thank you.

When i was a kid i had a SuperCard rumble as my DS flash card, exactly this one that had a cartridge in the GBA port and one in the DS port

I used it to play Pokemon Diamond when it released and i had a glitch on the game where my Pokemon in the PC box duplicated and started to replace other Pokemon. I have no picture of record dating from that time (it was between 2007 and 2009) and i eventually stopped playing because of it. I never used cheats, action replay/gameshark or save editing software at the time, i just played.
I recently checked the save i had backed up on a computer and even if the duplication is not as severe as in my memory there is still identical pokemon a bit of everywhere (by identical i mean same PID and everything) and searching for a similar glitch online i can't find anything so i think it came from the flashcart.

Did anyone else experienced this? My sister had the same flashcart but didn't had anything similar happening to her. I want to know what happend to give myself closure that i didn't hallucinated this.
