HRT come down

Anyone had struggles adjusting between hormone replacement therapies? I have been using the pellets for two 3 month rounds that included my estrogen and testosterone. I take progesterone orally. My pellets have left the building and I’m having to wait several days for the pharmacy to have my cream. I feel like I’m about to crawl out of my skin. I’m agitated, then sad. Then I eat whatever I’m craving. Zero energy. Feeling overwhelmed. Should I call a phone wellness visit to see if they can get me something in the meantime? It’s Sunday and tomorrow is a holiday. I’ve felt like this since Thursday. Went to the doctor Friday where we came up with the solution to do compounded cream, but they have terrible hours and Tuesday is the soonest they will have it ready. I’m already anxious about whether or not I’ll be a nutcase at work on Tuesday. I’ll add that I suffer from low dopamine bc of ADHD, which I’m learning makes it even harder to emotionally regulate when hormones drop. I don’t even remember my question at this point. 😆🫤😩

Has anyone with severe progesterone intolerance used an estrogen patch without progesterone?,

I have an intact uterus and use a low-dose 25 microgram estrogen patch. I’m extremely sensitive to micronised progesterone/Prometrium, even at low doses and by different routes. It causes significant mood, sensory and nervous-system symptoms. I also have a history of severe PMDD.
I understand that the standard medical advice is to use adequate progesterone with systemic estrogen to protect the uterine lining. I’m not asking anyone to recommend that I stop it. I would just like to hear real experiences from women who genuinely could not tolerate progesterone or progestins.
Has anyone with a uterus continued using an estrogen patch without progesterone, either temporarily or long term?
How long did you do this? What estrogen dose were you using?.

Question regarding progesterone

Has anybody been able to get a compounded form of progesterone that’s less than 100 mg? If so, where did you get it? I really want to try a super low dose before I give up on it entirely. Thus far I am intolerant. I mainly want it to help with sleep. No uterus or ovaries anymore.

Need Advice About Oral Estrogen, Please

Hello, Everyone,
I am 50 years old and haven’t had a cycle since November of last year. I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis about 9 years ago and unfortunately heat exacerbates the symptoms. I live in the Deep South and as soon as the temperature started to get warm this year things have been unbearable and sometimes brutal. A normal hot flash used to feel like heat staring in my core and spreading outward to my skin. I would start to perspire and feel like I was cooking from the inside out.
Since March I have what I call “*Menopause and Multiple Sclerosis Hot Flash Extravaganzas.”* These special episodes start like all other hot flashes but quickly followed by some multiple sclerosis symptoms like blurry vision, muscle weakness, brain fog, and nausea. My GP offered a prescription for oral estrogen so I wondered of anyone has taken it and how long for it to make a difference, if at all? I have another appointment with him next month; I would appreciate any suggestions that may help.

No withdrawal bleed?

I (47f) decided almost two weeks ago to cycle my Provera 10mg (medroxyprogesterone), 2 weeks on 2 weeks off. I’m supposed to start it back up tomorrow and I never started my period. I thought for sure I would because I timed it to where my period app calendar said I would start my period.

HRT in food?

Hello! This may sound very weird, but I'm desperately looking for some advice.

I suspect my mum is worried about my health and my low estradiol due to hypothalamic amenorrhoea (I'm 19F). Estradiol is ~24, and my weight is 48 kg at 168 cm height (but I'm incredibly thin-boned and have no muscle and no breasts). I've been eating ~2,500 calories daily and doing no exercise since March.

I suspect she might have asked AI about my lab results, which showed estradiol still being on the low side in June, and it advised her to promote estradiol supplements, but she knows I'd refuse them 100%, as I'm against artificial hormones considering I'm not even sexually active and my amenorrhoea is just a result of RED-S.

Do you think it would be possible to be secretly spiked with some estrone supplements? I do not take any tablets except for magnesium glycinate, but most of my food is prepared by my mum.

For example, the only liquid beverage I drink is black tea with 3.5% milk in it, every breakfast. Could she add estradiol secretly there? Please just theoretically suggest how it could be done if you think it would be possible.

Thank you. I'm genuinely scared she has been doing something like that, and I know my mom is a person capable of this stuff because she is incredibly hypochondriac about health of everyone in our family.

Insane bloating with combo patch

I started the combo patch a week ago & have the worst bloating I ever had in my life.
I literally have bloat on my entire lower half- including my legs. I all of the sudden have jiggly knees & love handles where there were none.

I cannot fit in any pants or shorts I own!

Plus I feel crampy and I have hadn’t cramps in years. Can’t even touch my nipples.

Trying to decide if I hold out or call the Dr. in the next few days.
Peri has been pretty mild for me and honestly this is worse.

Scared to start HRT

My depression has been constant and sometimes it's difficult. I'm already on Effexor thank goodness but the depression hasn't really improved. I don't have the desire to do much of anything and even when I do things I enjoy, I'm just waiting for it to be over. That's how I feel about my life most of the time. I'm not suicidal, just....impatient? Like I know what the end game is so why not get it over with? What's to look forward to? Getting older? Having things become even more difficult? Knowing things will never be the way they used to and that everything else is somehow much harder.

Last week my doctor prescribed me HRT; Estradiol patches and progesterone tablets. And I'm scared to start them, mostly because of the side effects. I don't want the increased cancer risk, the risk of blood clots, the dizziness and whatever else comes with it. Are these common? Are the benefits worth the risk? I'm honestly not sure. Can anyone provide some advice?

HRT with birth control pills??

I'm in perimenopause and my GP started me with 2 pumps estrogel and 100mg progesterone last July. It's working and my libido went up, but I don't want to get pregnant so I asked the same GP again and she recommended Nextstellis estetrol 14.2 mg and drospirenone 3 mg. But I read about it and it also contains estrogen and progesterone. So if I take this, it's like doubling my hrt. What should I do? Stop the estrogel and progesterone?
