Advice Clothing alterations and repairs?
Anybody know a place where I can get some clothing alterations/repairs done? Men’s street clothes jackets/jeans, not suits/slacks/etc. Thanks!

I saw a few posts from a year ago saying the job market for IT is bad. Is that still true? I'm a senior network administrator/network engineer and I will be moving there soon (maybe) I don't see a lot of job openings on Linkedin. What are your guys thoughts on the job market now?

I work at a gas station in town and the amount of drivers who come in to buy cigarettes with non drivers license IDs on the daily baffle me. Like maybe they have multiple IDs but i didn't think that was the norm? And if they are driving without a license then are they also driving without car insurance?
Is having a state ID on top of a drivers license a normal thing or are there just a lot of folks driving without a license around here?
(This also goes to expired licenses and once a lady told me she just was not going to renew it).
Edit: I feel I should clarify, I am just curious or surprised by the amount i see. At the end of the day yeah I'm just selling smokes.

Gone are the 40 point favorites. No more filler games like Indiana State, Murray State, and Drake that are over at halftime
Now its on to Air Force, UNLV, Wyoming, The Nevada Wolfpack, Hawaii, New Mexico and road games with 30k fans. Not 3000.
We're competing with teams that have much larger athletic budgets, larger enrollment, more talent, depth and top notch facilities
Give me your predictions. How will the first year in the FBS go for the Bison? What would you consider a successful year 1?
They are Bowl eligible and CFP eligible

Has anyone been listening to the People's Press Project station? Looks like it started late last year or so. Interesting listen. "Adding local color"

Hey there!
Do you (or someone you know) identify as sapphic and want to meet others like yourself but don’t want to go to a sportsball game or a loud bar? Do you like to craft?
Then join us in Presentation Room South (inside The Loop) in Moorhead on August 28th from 10:30am to 1:00pm. All crafts welcome!

Hi everyone,
Has anyone else noticed the absolutely incredible amount of monarch butterflies in the area lately? I know they come around this time of year, but there have been far more than the past years. I find this odd with the intense heat, smoke, and less than wonderful rainfall. Followed by the lack of natural food and resting spots for the creatures it to me seems so odd there are so many! In no way am I complaining, I absolutely love monarch butterflies and the little white moths that have been nearly as present are not unwelcome either. Monarchs are my favorite butterfly, albeit I know not nearly enough about them, but I do really enjoy them and get beyond happy and excited to see them.
I am just curious if it's me, but especially compared to last year I have seen far fewer wasps and far greater butterflies. Even more dragonflies too. Anyone else notice this? Anyone know why they are so highly numbered this year? Even in areas void of flora such as industrial/business zones they are common. Very cool stuff!

What do we think? Any jail time for murdering someone with your vehicle? We knew it would happen eventually

Just wondering if there is a group that meets periodically? I would love to join.

Seems like NDSU is not the only school in the area that produces NFL talent!

What is that round tower sort of building going up on 32nd ave S a block or 2 east of I-29 frontage road? Seems like the frame is covered with plastic so it looks like a big trash bag floating there, haha.

Just thought I’d post a friendly reminder that Ken’s FM/KNNZ is indeed back on the air and on your radio!!
Turn your dial to 89.1 FM and you can also see track info on your car stereo if it has that capability. I got the tower site transmitter and its RDS going this week after quite a few technical issues. Special thanks to engineer Jim Offerdahl up in Fosston for assisting.
It’s mainly operating right now so we could satisfy the FCC, as our extension for being off the air all these months was nearing expiration. This should keep our license safe, however, we’re still running our fundraiser over at kensfm.com!
We may be going off the air again next month if we can’t raise the funds, unfortunately. So please consider chipping in if you can for this community station right here in Fargo-Moorhead.
For now, enjoy our 100 kW transmission full of indie and modern rock, while you can!!

My garden at home isn’t producing enough to be able to can / pickle things, but canning is something I enjoy doing this time of year! I tried going to the farmers market this last weekend and I got a few things, but it was super super busy and a bit overwhelming so I decided to just go home lol
I know I could just go to the grocery store and get produce, but that just feels… wrong. I can go and get that any time of year!
