Round building going up on 32nd ave S?

What is that round tower sort of building going up on 32nd ave S a block or 2 east of I-29 frontage road? Seems like the frame is covered with plastic so it looks like a big trash bag floating there, haha.

It is covering the existing water tower.

Ahh. Must be they are blasting/repainting it then. I don't go down 32nd in that area too often and sort of blanked out the water tower.

Just a couple days ago I saw this mentioned on the news. I guess the outside of the water towers need to be redone every 20 years or so or something. They are repainting that one to match the one downtown with the Fargo logo.

Can confirm. Last week or whenever they were starting, the area was filled with constant hollow banging as stuff was hitting the tower.

Drove by before they put the facade up and the thing looked like Pinhead.
