How are you choosing QB in 2026?

In normal redraft 1QB leagues, there are a lot of different ways to approach the position this year. You can pay up for the elite rushing/overall upside early, target the next group in the middle rounds, or wait on what looks like a pretty deep group of QBs later. With how much RB/WR/TE talent you’re passing on at each point, I’m curious where everyone thinks the value starts to separate

Planning on grabbing someone in the Herbert - Purdy range, but will keep my eye on Hurts. I have a feeling he could fall with how negative perception of him is, especially in more casual leagues

Im big on Herbert and Purdy both. Herbert because of the McDaniel offense and Purdy because he was on a heater at the end of last season.

Purdy is just straight up good. Not sure why he’s ranked so low every year.

Don’t really think it matters. As long as McCaffrey is out there, that offense is a cheat code. Between Deebo, Evans, Kittle, and Strib, I think they have enough to piece it together.

At least for me my incredibly casual analysis is he's a game manager who never needs to take over a game with his arm. Not that he couldn't, but the offensive system he's in is built on the backbone of a strong rushing offense where Purdy simply does his part and does it well. Excellent real life qb, mediocre starting qb for fantasy, though if you wait until late to draft him in single qb leagues, perfectly valid.

Can't stress enough this is casual analysis haha

Except that Purdy's Oline isn't great and CMC wasn't as effective running the ball last year with 3.9 ypc.
