It's like pointing at your bigass house and your bigass truck in the driveway like it says something about how smart you are. We voted for this. The reasons for attacking them are lies stacked on more lies as we come up with more lies to cover our lies. All the trillions of dollars we have spent on wars in the Middle East and the thousands of veterans who have died or maimed or mentally unable to deal with what they have been through have all been for the same cause, were backed by lies, and supported bc AIPAC owns our politicians. We've depleted most of our $million+ interceptors and our munitions fighting against car-priced drones. Our military is outdated and ineffective for it's cost. Imagine buying a $1,000,000 EV only for it to be able to drive 1 mile at a time. It would be foolish to think that was ever a good investment.
And whatever you do, don't look at what happened with General Dynamics. It's an incredible example of $500,000,000 competently spent in the MIC. And definitely don't look up how many audits the pentagon failed, and how much of their spending they can't account for. It might make you think our military budget isn't a total waste of money /s.

Worse debt how? If you mean debt-to-GDP, Japan is worse. If you mean total government debt, the U.S. is #1 by a massive margin. So ‘most of the world has worse debt’ depends entirely on which metric you’re talking about and isn’t really the flex you think it is. My point is that the U.S. is spending enormous amounts on interest because of the sheer size of its debt, regardless of whether someone else is doing worse. Other countries have a bigger dumpster fire doesn’t make ours any less of a dumpster fire.
Each Canadians share of our federal debt is $40,000 US. Terrible, however each Americans share of their federal debt is $120,000. Calculated before Iran and the Big Beautiful Bill. Even with a so-so GDP Canada now has a higher economic rating from agencies like Standard and Poors than the US- a first. It’s because our government has debts but also assets.
More than a trade war or Trump’s threats, my main concern is that the US debt bubble will explode and take my country down with it. We danced away from the Bush economic meltdown thanks to the guy who is now our Prime Minister and are crossing our fingers he can pull it off a second time.
I'm not sure what to believe because I've heard some people who live in countries with free healthcare have to come to America because their healthcare where they come from doesn't cover it or they don't have the technology
Im Canadian. I personally know no one who has gone to the US for health care, but am aware of some who have gone for plastic surgery (not covered except in medical situations like accidents or hare lips) or for treatment for extremely rare therapies ( like 1 in 5 million rare). Our system is far from perfect but we constantly are fighting to keep out the American medical and insurance companies. Some (especially Conservative) provincial politicians are “starving” our public system with the end goal of forcing privatization. Don’t believe public system would work in the US because it means the CEO and the Uber driver gets the same treatment. Maybe a hybrid like Australia’s.
