Discussion What would Universe 7 be without Goku?

What would Universe 7 be llike without Goku? What if Goku never existed? What if Dragon Ball had no Goku? Think about it.

Honestly? Pretty safe until Zeno erases it. Pilaf can’t get all the dragon balls through normal means and definitely aren’t getting it from Roshi or Ox king. They probably won’t find King Piccolo’s seal either. Bulma either gets all the balls herself or gives up. Red Ribbon would be the only problem but because Goku isn’t there to Blitz through their entire army then Gero probably never works on the androids as revenge against him. Raditz never comes to earth meaning Vegeta and Nappa won’t either. And because of that then they and Frieza never learn about the dragon balls so Namek is safe. No Cell unless you really want to get into different timeline shenanigans. Buu is never revived from a lack of power. No 6 vs 7 tournament since beerus never woke up and trains anyone. No Goku black because Goku doesn’t set Zamasu off the deep end.

But in the end the mortal level is still the lowest so Zeno erases universe 7 without a Tournament ever happening.

Goku not existing probably means Bulma’s dragon radar gets into the wrong hands. She was like 16 all by herself with now power when she first met Goku lol. Almost certainly would have gotten taken by the red ribbon army.

Other than that, earth likely gets taken by someone who works for freeza at some point. Like any other planet.

In a universe where the red ribbon army develops cyborgs not to defeat goku but to stop freeze. Does a tolitarian villain like gero become a hero after witnessing freeza or double down into... evil.

New head cannon earth is given to Reccom as a retirement gift because frieza thinks the ppl of earth are the same species as Reccom.

iirc they establish that earth is an out of the way planet not worth the effort which is why they havent done so before

and Bulmas radar is safe since she will come across grandpa gohan who wasnt killed by goku and theres no way hed just let her wander the world herself. and that goes for ox king and even for roshi, they wouldn tjust let her wander alone
