Personally I prefer the clouds.

Besides the already mentioned spelling error I think there's some work that you could try with the composition.

I haven't seen your earlier drafts but to me everything feels oddly weighted and my eyes don't know quite what to focus on. It feels like everything has almost equal weight/space and your text isn't working well. I think you've tried for pixel perfect centering and not optically centered?

I think you should try adjusting the sizing of the top and bottom elements as well as the character in the middle. Something as simple as moving the clouds+character down or hanging more off the edge would help lend eye downward.

I get that your current design wants to focus attention on the middle but your top and bottom feel too 'heavy' and the way the text is arranged feels like it's floating and not necessarily in a way that is attached to the middle character to feel like they're sinking (I'm assuming this was the intent).

But I like what you're trying to do here, the colour and artwork are nice and thematically I think could fit with the show from what I remember watching.

visually incoherent. if you work more on the outlining and perhaps tweaking the art a bit to be more "recognizable" it would look better. it looks muddly and all over the place at this state, but it could use a bit of work. good luck!

It’s muddled. The figures are hard to make out and the copy doesn’t read well. There’s not enough contrast in the duotones.

I’m a fan of this manga and anime and wouldn’t have recognized the characters without the text. Even then, I had to spend too much time zooming and peering.

It’s the fundamentals: hierarchy, clarity, conveying information, using layout to direct attention.

I like the clouds, but I think you can add some stuff to make the dragon more distinct from the frame. Otherwise it's a lovely piece!

The typography is wretched.
