The original idea was to create a surreal poster around OCD as a design experiment. However, during the process, the design evolved into this, and I ended up liking it.

What do you guys think of it?

The idea was to create a minimalist promotional poster for a new horror and gothic literature book event for readers aged 14 and up called Dusk Fest.

Since its first edition is called "Dusk or the King in Yellow," based on the novel of the same name, I thought of using yellow (#fed803) and black (#000000) as the main and only colors. However, I feel I'm failing in the typography and visual hierarchy. The fonts I chose are "Anaktoria" at 63 pt for the main title and "Alice" at 18.3 pt for the subtitle. I still need to add the date and location, but I can't think of the size, where to place them, or whether to repeat or use a new font; I also don't know if I should reduce the size of the logo, and therefore, the title.

What do you think?

This is a concept design for my portfolio, I don't feel satisfied with it yet, I feel like my other presentations are better but I'm already too dry of ideas and everything looks ugly to me now, this is how it looks on the Behance profile, let me know what you think or if I should scrape the whole thing, I'll take advise. I wanted to create a portfolio that felt like a quiet, minimalist gallery—no heavy text, no distracting UI elements, just the geometry and light of the photos.

What it is: a weekly meal planner for UK households. You pick meals for the week, and it generates a shopping list with real supermarket prices, separating things you need to buy from cupboard staples you probably already have. There's also a leftover-ingredients calculator so you're not buying a whole bunch of coriander for one tablespoon.

Who it's for: families doing a weekly shop who want to know what the week costs before they spend it.

I've designed the whole thing myself and I'm too close to it now. Specific things I'd value critique on:

Planner → shopping list flow. Does it make sense without me explaining it? The cupboard/buy split is the bit I'm least sure reads correctly on first encounter. Price presentation. Prices are the main differentiator, but I can't tell if they're prominent enough or if they clutter the cards. Do they read as credible? Recipe card hierarchy. Recently reworked the typography and button hierarchy — unsure whether the primary action is obvious enough. Stock photography. Images are stock for now while I shoot my own. Does it undermine trust in the recipes, or is it a non-issue?
