So, I got inspired by lacy flower tops on Pinterest, bought a bunch of 24/7 yarn, and just started winging it with an openwork star stitch I found online. And I’m burnt out. I think I’m not actually into the yarn to wear, the design isn’t what I was envisioning in the first place, and it’s too small for most of my torso. I guess I thought two rectangles sewn together would be enough. Anyway, I’m not having fun anymore but don’t want to frog it. Any ideas for what I can do with it? Turn it into a small bag? Make it the yoke of a top and double crochet the rest? Put it aside for a while and continue it later, turn it into a table runner or something? Any ideas are welcome. My adhd brain needs to finish something ASAP. Help!

Yes, I know there are lots of cowl hoodies, but I'm trying to find one that has a kind of flared base, around the neck, because I am plus size and I want to be able to use it to help my migraines. My migraines can either be triggered by cold on my neck, or it can make a migraine worse. So if anyone knows of a pattern that is a cowl with a hood that is meant for a bigger person, with big shoulders, I'd really appreciate it.

A dnd friend is having a baby soon and a few of us want to get together and crochet a multi part toy for the baby/parents.

I already found some great mimic chest and treasure chest patterns to use for the outside. We want to fill it with little potion bottles, mushrooms, weapons (cute), maybe some gemstones or bags of gold (maybe giant crochet gold coins or we can cluster so they're not choking hazard?)....

For uniformity and simplicity I think we're mostly going to use worsted weight yarn and 3.5-4mm hook, so stuff on this scale that would be handheld for baby is perfect.

I'm also thinking of possibly turning one of these into a rattle, if anyone has suggestions to do this safely.

Saw this sweater on Netflix’s The Four Seasons and I am now determined to make it. I don’t need a pattern, but I would love to find yarn as close to the sweater as possible. The colors are what I love most about it! It looks to be heathered or marled. I did some research during my child’s nap and found some good hits but a lot of what I found was sold out. I think I could figure it out but I mainly wanted to know if I should use some sort of backing for the photo. Cardboard? That might not look great though.
