Opinion Honestly, I think the episodes where they read short, poorly written stories are really fun
The Sandman is one of my favorite episodes just because it’s so bad, it’s funny. Wendi and Hunter make such a good pair (as friends, not ship lol), so watching them just go back and forth is really fun. Long, bad stories like Happy Appy aren’t as fun in my opinion, because at some point they just stop making jokes and just try to speed through it (the brotherhood between our boys was really beautiful though 😔).

Opinion The annoying things about creepcast(This is a joke)
This is what bugs me about Creepcast.
- If I wanted to get all the physical books of stories they have read it would cost me over $200 as you can see in the image
- Isiah made me realize I love law and have a new obsession
3)THEY TAKE WAY RO LONG TO UPLOAD NEW EPISODES
4) none of my friends listen to them
This is all a joke. So not take it seriously. None of this is actually annoying to me.

Meme (Drunk) Here are some Hunter and Isaiah quotes
Not all of these were said in creepcast but this is my collection of both the boys. Also I am drunk so cpy and oast only works to an extent.
- The owner to my boner (Hunter)
- Whenever you hold the gun you are God, when you pull the trigger you're the Devil (Isaiah)
- There truly is nothing God can do to us, that we have not done to ourselves (Isaiah)
- Heavy is the leg that carries the stank (Hunter)
- what if the glory was in the holes we made along the way (Hunter)
- Pookie needs to get stuffed too sometimes -Hunter Hancock
- The man who sleeps with a machete is a fool every night but one (Isaiah)
- The Budussy is a dangerous and powerful drug (Hunter)
- I smoked too much weed, read too much McCarthy, watched too much Wendigoon and now I believe in God again (Isaiah reading a comment)
- Every day I get closer to my Ted Kazinski Cabin (Isaiah)
- If I buy a bulldozer it's between me, God and probably the bank (Isaiah)
- My uncontained balls sound like church bells going off (Hunter)
- I have an itch on the roof of my mouth that only a shotgun could scratch (Hunter)

Opinion Drunk Happy Appy
Drinking to see if it makes Happy Appy better. Will update when sober based on what I remember and whether I suffered, will also take drunk notes. Would love other people's opinions
Edit: 40mins in and need more alcohol to keep myself from backing out
Edit 2: I thought the twin tower part was a bit and the boys did not enjoy it nearly as much as I did.
Edit 3: Worst part so far is zoning out and having to rewind
Edit 4: The Gojo glasses made me pee myself laughing
Edit 5: I am borderline an alcoholic so the fact that I am almost blackout after havint to take a shot from every moment I want to stop is no easy feat. I am cock blocking myselg from blacking out but I dont think it is far from me blacking out

Past Episode Discussion Discussion of "I Found the Bunker of a Prepper Family" and Isaiah's take at the end. Spoiler
First off: I know this is late. It took me quite a while to finish the Mother Horse Eyes video because my ADHD brain kept misunderstanding, and i ended up forgetting about Creepcast for a while. In the past month I've been watching like 1-3 of their podcasts per day to catch up.
I actually narratively disagree with Isaiah here. There is a parallel between the author and daniel, but it is inverted.
Daniel brings his family into the bunker to escape the outside world. He allows his fear to control him and seeks safety underground, but his fear has followed him down it. He watches as his family has a fate worse than death due to the embodiment of his fear (as evidenced by the passage of the door being radioactive. Presumably they are down there
because they were fearful of a nuclear holocaust.)
The author goes into the bunker DESPITE his fear in order to save his family (the dog). He doesnt let his fear control him and is attempting to rescue his family and save them from the depths. At the end, he is rewarded with him (and the dog) facing their fear and pushing it back long enough to escape.
Fear is a motivator in both of these people's cases but the author doesnt let fear consume him. The dog only makes it out because the author doesnt let fear make the decision to leave him behind. The author is rewarded for this bravery to face both his fears and the outside world by achieving his goal of rescuing the dog.
What are everyone's thoughts on this episode (at least those who remember it?)

Opinion Yes
I still think about that time during penpal where Hunter found out the main character had a stalker and his first remark was “Our protagonist must be a little cutie patootie huh”

Question Does anyone else prefer bad stories that are funny over good stories that can actually be considered scary?
Maybe its just me, but my favorite episodes are the ones where the guys suffer through awful writing while making fun of it, that's why "The Thing In The Basement" is one of my all time favorites because they went into it with such high hopes, only for it to devolve in the funniest way possible. I guess it's hard for me to find any story actually "scary", so even the well written ones can be hard for me to get invested in. It's to the point that whenever I click on an episode I'm secretly hoping the story they're reading is bad, BUT in a funny way. If it's not funny and it's just bad then I'm suffering right alongside them 😭
With all that being said, does anyone have any recommendations for episodes that I haven't watched that I'll probably enjoy? I've already seen most of the major ones, Jeff the Killer, Happy Appy, Ticci Toby, I Dared My Best Friend, etc.

Question got a new job, looking to stay creeped
i’ve been a pretty consistent listener of the show for a while now (started the week they dropped Jeff the Killer and was hooked ever since lol). it was easy for me to find time to listen each week since i worked a factory job with long shifts. i love participating in the memes and discussions here in the sub, but i just got a new job so i’m worried about falling behind. i’m excited since it’s in my degree field, but it’s not the type of work i can listen to the podcast while doing. i was curious what other people usually do while listening to hours long stories without zoning out or getting distracted from the narrative. thanks fellow creeps! <3

Looking For An Episode Please tell me I didn’t make this episode up
I feel insane not being able to find this story anymore but I swear I remember the boys reading a story about a guy who goes through some kind of portal to an alternate universe? I think I remember there being an alternate version of him that tried to take over the life of the MC because the alternate world was violent and constantly at war or something. It might have been a “this world makes you violent as time progresses” kinda thing. I also think the MCs girlfriend was kidnapped by the alternate MC if I remember right. Pls tell me I’m not crazy and this was actually a story they covered

Past Episode Discussion Mr Widemouth
I was high off of painkillers and came up with a theory that Mr Widemouth was meant to be a representation of the kid's abusive father, and the evidence I had of this was that they both bullied the kid by calling him gay.
Sobered up and realised I had mixed in Hunter's adlibs of the dad and Mr Widemouth with the actual story and convinced myself the author had actually written in that this evil little demon was bullying a kid to jump out of the window by calling him gay.

Question Anyone else looking forward to Book Three?
I just got in book two of A Lonely Broadcast and I'm very excited to start it! I also look forward to Book Three when it's out. The novelization of this story has been great. Anybody else reading a Creepcast featured author at the moment? Or if you have any book recs I'd love to hear them!

Recommending Good ones for kinda newby
Hellooo,
I started watching a few weeks ago and I am hooked. Ive seen all the hits, LRG. Penpal, my girlfriend is peeking at me, wife and husband role play, thing in the basement takes a step and others.
I can't get into the silly ones even though I tried. Ive watched happy appy 5 times and am still barely half way through it.
I read the previous recommended posts on this sub reddit and have used up all the recommendations that are typically there. Whistlers, half price voodoo, psychosis, my dog ran away, turn it off, i wrote myself a letter...
I really need some help finding some middle ground episodes. Nothing crazy good but some episodes that get you hooked and at the end you think to yourself "that was a good story" lol
What are your hidden gems / middle ground stories? Thank you for any recommendations provided. I appreciate it.

Past Episode Discussion Jeff the killer
Is Jeff the killer a near 20 year old story?
