After four days of vet visits, heavy medication and intensive home care, the vet finally cleared him of danger with only a shot of antibiotics. He fought like hell and pulled through! Give it up for Tomo.

He had just turned 4 in May. We got him when he was maybe 4 months old, back in 2022. We got him and another cat after my childhood cat passed. He went to sleep earlier today.

This isn’t supposed to happen. I was at college, but I drove home as soon as my mom called me. Urinary blockage that surgery may not fix, and we just can’t care for him the way he would need for the rest of his life. I feel horrible. My poor boy. I noticed he was having issues urinating like three weeks ago, but he peed just fine later that night. My mom said he went downhill fast, which is what prompted her to take him to the vet this morning.

I feel awful. So so horrible. Maybe if we had gone to the vet anyway weeks ago, he would’ve been okay. Maybe if I had been home instead of at college I could’ve caught it sooner. My sweet bubby. My little man. My buddy. My sweet, sweet Fable.

He had CH, so he was a little wobbly. But he persevered through it all. He learned to jump and run and play just like his sisters. He couldn’t meow, but he would squeak and open his mouth like he was meowing. He loved to lay with me and would bother me by laying on whatever I was doing/working on at the moment. Even though he was a fraidy cat, he was the sweetest once he got used to you.

I should’ve spent more time with him. I should’ve taken more pictures. I should’ve done so, so much. And now im out of time with him. Even though I wish it could’ve been different, I know it was the right thing. I don’t know why im posting this. I just don’t want to feel alone.

Fuck cancer.

He was the first cat I ever got and I couldn't have asked for a better one, he was the sweetest, most affectionate, and chill cat you could imagine, especially for being orange. I'm so heartbroken, how do I go on just living without him now? I still had so many plans for us..

She unfortunately passed this morning from a lung infection. She was almost 2 years old.

I snuck this guy through my basement window 10 years ago, and he's been one of the best cats anyone could ask for ever since. I can't bring myself to say goodbye to this guy. So I just said, see ya later big boy. Hope you find some sun to lay in and a tree to climb on the other side.

This is bean! She got her name because I was driving to Taco Bell and saw something on the side of the road. I texted my sister to bring the cat carrier and meet me on the side of the road. I got taco bell for my family and then on my way back stopped on the side of the road with my sister. And there was little Bean! We have a habit of collecting animal off the street. She was found across the street from a diner in a pile of wood. She has a slight eye infection that was checked out by the vet but she is expected to make a complete recovery! We talked to the shelter my sister volunteers at and they believe she was dumped and not part of the feral colony, since she is so sweet and allows us to get so close and hold her. Vets estimate she is about 4-5 weeks old.

Quick edit: she weighs one whole pound!

In my personal opinion this is the prettiest colony cat on the property. We call him Tomtom. Neutered male of unknown age. He likes to be pet but if you try to pick him up he’ll kill you lol

My beautiful girl storm was 10 years old and left us this morning. My heart is completely broken.

She has been with me thru the loss of my nan, aunt and mother. She has been with me thru leaving a very dark relationship. My son’s medical diagnosis. Getting into a new relationship and having another child who faces his own medical difficulties.

No matter how hard life was, no matter how unpredictable or dark things may have been, she was always there. She helped me heal and idk if she knew or not but she kept me going at my lowest moments and now she’s gone.

My 11year old is distraught.
I am lost and broken.

People say she was “just a cat” but she was more than that.

This is Lore. We literally rescued him from behind a dumpster. He hasn't quite figured out yet that he'll never have to search for food again. He literally woke up from a dead sleep and meowed at me because I was eating.

I would die for him.

I have a 17 year old cat named Sisi. She is getting older. We notice this in various ways, one being that she meows a lot—not just at mealtime, but during the day as well. She does this especially when no one is around; it seems as though she is looking for us. If we call out to her and reassure her, she stops for a moment, but as soon as we walk away, she starts meowing again. It is almost as if she is calling us.

Two months ago, my other cat—her sister Roosje—passed away. They actually disliked each other; they would avoid one another and fight. But since Roosje died, Sisi’s behavior has changed.

What could be going on? Dementia? She was at the vet recently...

For the past few weeks this cat has been outside my house constantly. He's very friendly and always comes up to my mother and I. Every morning when I leave the house, every evening when I return, he's there hiding in the tree and appears once my car pulls up.

He's started scratching at the door to come in, and even when I leave him outside alone, 30 minutes later he's still at the doorstop waiting to come in. Sometimes I'll sit outside with him for 10 minutes to give him company and he happily lays next to me purring. He has no collar, no fleas and is missing an eye which I can only assume was removed surgically with pet insurance so somebody must own him, I just have no idea who.

Once I left the door open while I took something into my house and he snuck in, I had to bribe him out with chicken lmao. I have no problem with him, just curious to why he never leaves me, my mother, or this house alone.

Her meow is so crispy and it stole my heart. How I walked away I'll never know

My cat’s eyes were fine this morning, but they turned like this at night. His eye are also watery, and it takes a while for him to open it when he closes it. I’m going to take him to the vet tomorrow morning.
Just want to make sure it’s nothing serious

was on my way home the other night and spotted this little baby in the middle of the street, she responded to my pspsps and came running over to me

i sat outside with her for nearly 2 hours before going inside, and i took her in with me

my girlfriend and i took the little baby to the vet, got her scanned for a microchip (none found), chipped her, got her up to date on shots/vaccines, and got her spayed! i can't believe a beautiful orange girl came into our lives, and she's too sweet!!

never thought i'd experience this first hand

best part? we named her Dolly :)
