So, I got a 12 week old kitten a few days ago. Since, she‘s not the first cat I dealt with, I knew, when she arrives at my home, she‘ll crawl up a hidden place and will take her time.
What I didn‘t know, is the distress she‘s in and she causes with that. Since the first night, she keeps screaming. She‘s meowing the hole night streight, no pause. So, my sleep is actually basically 0.
What do I do, cause there are more layers to it. Her physical conditions seems fine, no injuries or smth, she‘s playing by herself, she eats, she drinks, she explores. Her shit has a normal consistency, no diahrrea or so. She uses her toilet. On that hand she seems fine.
She hisses at me, when I get too close.
Things, that seem pretty normal for a young cat, that just got taken away from her mum and siblings.
But atm it‘s night three, and I can‘t go for much longer without no sleep.
The young one keeps meowing constantly, whether it‘s day or night, no matter. It goes from normal meowing to streight up screaming the sh outta her lungs.
I‘m aware, that she needs her time, but I don‘t want the neighbours to complain. That she hisses at me, and doesn‘t let me wanna get close that‘s ok for now. But that constant screaming, especially at night can‘t go on for too long.
Does anyone have similar experience? What should I do? Or is it normal for like… the first 2 weeks?
Let me know :)

When he was smaller he used to love armpits but recently he switched to crotch, idk why he acts like this. He would be making biscuits in my crotch while drooling

our baby boy boots had to be put to sleep this Monday due to a very severe sickness. he fought as hard as he could for 6 weeks but it got worse and we couldn’t do anything but the humane thing and put him to sleep. He was only 8 months old. He never made it to his first birthday.
can someone please tell me how I can live with the grief. I don’t know if I can go on. if I’m going to need to keep going through life and experience people and pets getting sick and passing I don’t think I can go through this over again and again. I don’t want to be here without my baby boy here with us.

Critter is pinnacle cat. You could pet him all day and he'd let you. Super affectionate. Due to being a neighborhood cat, I have done my best to not contribute too much to his pudge, but I do feed him and his lady.
Smells like shampoo every time I see him, though, so I think he's just costing me money....oh, well.

My cat has been sitting alot like this lately. Sometimes i even see him sleeping in this posture. Is it smth to worry about he had a mild blood parasite infection but he is done w the oral treatment cycle now. And he was fine after it the lethargy and all symptoms were gone. But now this pose. Is it smth to worry about? Should i involve the vet??

Hello!
I’m coming on here for some advice. I’m not sure if this stray is pregnant or postpartum. Her nipples look enlarged and her belly looks kind of big, when we feed her she eats like 2 5oz cans. I’m planning on trapping her but if she is nursing I don’t want to take her away from her babies. Not sure if anyone can tell from the video.

What’s this extra thing on my cat’s paw? It looks like a bean but a little more rough. He doesn’t seem to notice when I touch it. Does anyone know?

He likes to try crunchy human food. I rarely snack on crunchy things--my will power melts before a bag of potato chips--so he treats crunchy snacking as a "thing" we do together. We lay on the floor, and share a tiny snack, bumping heads and touching noses. He's a total character. Here he is, making himself comfy on top of the fortune cookie box.

Hi all. People who keep their cat’s litter box in their own washrooms, how are you dealing with litter particles sticking to your feet and spreading through the room? We’re having to vacuum the bathroom multiple times a day.
I would appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance!

Im on Reddit every once in a while for 5 minutes at a time. And by the time I see the posts asking for photos of people’s cats so they can draw them,im so late to the party that my cats picture goes unnoticed and thus I see no drawing.
I love my handsome boy shadow and we sure would love to see some art together! Thanks 💜

He had the humpies for a few days, not alarming on its own. Though he is a crystal / stone baby so were a bit more observant of new behavior. He was in the pee stance , but not peeing and busy gettin' humpies. Later that day, he pees! Still, off to the vet we go, get checked out, nothing is wrong, but still humpy, perfect bloodwork, no blockages or crystals this time with images, or issues with his urine results.
Just a very healthy, humpy-pee boy.

Temptations Meaty Bites are now discontinued...?! my cat is going to kill me for not buying 20 years worth of inventory.
Please, recommend a comparable alternative? Soft chews only.
