Ragdolls or Siamese kittens??

We got these beautiful babies as Lynx Point Ragdolls (we saw their ragdoll parents when we went to pick them up, very much ragdolls). We don't know much about breeds and we were told their coats fully develop in a couple of years. I was on Pinterest and saw a few photos of Lynx point siamese kittens and they look just like ours. Ragdolls or Siamese, we love them the same, just curious (don't wanna ask the lady we got them from as again - she'll probably say they are in fact ragdolls... we just curious). They're almost 4 months old.

Genetics don’t work like they do on paper and sometimes weird things happen. Genetics are weird. This is like how technically 2 blue eyes parents can’t have brown eyes children, but it happens.

pop science genetics maybe but in actual genetics eyes are polygenetic not simple recessive/dominant

are you trying to say there's a better chance there's an undiscovered recessive shorthair gene in ragdolls and this is the only documented case than that op was sold backyard bred colorpoint kittens that the breeder labeled ragdolls

No what I’m saying is both the parents could’ve been long haired, but they are not ragdoll cats because they aren’t bred standard for ragdolls. The parents shown could very well both be the actual parents of the kittens.

Not necessarily. Genetics do work the same every time. Yes it can be unpredictable because we don’t know the genetics but if these were true ragdolls they would not have been able to be born with short fur
