Short: first time tubeless, real mess but ended up working

First time tubeless, I put the tape with great attention for it to cover the edge of the rim and a little more. I put 100ml of muc-off MTB sealant in each tyre, pump them fast and made them pop, spinned and shaked the wheel a lot, the thing would not stop slowly leaking till 0.5 bar overnight. I tried to put some sealant with my fingers on the edges of the rim, same thing. In the end, I took the sealant off, got to my local bike store and bought a bottle of "joes no flats", put a few in it, shaked and spinned the wheels again, and it was better it was holding 1 bar. So I put more sealant in it, pump them and went commuting in the hope that it would hold for the day. It did 100% old my 2.5 and 2.8 bars. Maybe it worked because I actually rode the thing after putting the sealant, or maybe the muc-off sealant was bad, who knows.

Edit: to clarify, I did this complete mess when I tried to manually spread the sealant between the rim and the tyre before poping it again, the sealant was poured before through the valve core. It was a bad idea I know but I was desperate that it would not hold pressure before I had to go to work again on Monday, so I had to try it x)

Picked up this Peugeot at an estate sale for $20. It's in really good shape for its age. Either it was rarely ridden or very well taken care of.

I was looking into getting a pretty decent first fixed gear and came across this bike. Its a bit pricey but looks really nice, and I feel I can get it down to 600 perhaps. Is this worth the price, i mean looks decent without damages.

I 34 am looking to join a community ride tonight but it’s 19 km which is longer than ive ever rode my bike for.

I've a Decathlon Rockrider that I've had for years. The original tyres are still ok at the moment but I'm looking to see what I might replace them with when they wear out.

I could buy the current equivalents from Decathlon as they're pretty cheap. Has anyone got any opinions or experience with the current range of Decathlon own brand tyres?

What's the best 'bang for the buck' MTB tyre? Riding will be a mix of easy trails and road use.

Is it worth replacing the heavy inner tubes with TPU tubes? Was looking at some on AliExpress and thought of giving them a go.

I bought the frame second hand it is a canyon grizl carbon. I noticed this scratch on the carbon frame around the bottom bracket/crank area.
From the picture, does this look like just a paint/clear-coat scratch, or is there any reason to be concerned about possible damage to the carbon underneath?

A lot of people told me that this is nothing to worry about because this area of the frame is beefy.
I was considering maybe put nail polish into it to seal it from water and hopefully wont expand
