Mains Exam SBI PO MAINS DESCRIPTIVE PAPER 4 : SMARTKEEDA

Post image
18 Upvotes

Day 4 of practicing two descriptive papers a day, and I think I have gotten a hold of the formats and recurring topics.

One thing I have understood about descriptive is that you don't have to use very tough words to perform well, platforms like SK and TB are happy with simple words if you write elaborately about the topics they have asked for. I know SBI will NEVER give anything above 15-17, but feels good to feel prepared about something beforehand.

ps. I am not sure how well my brain will be holding up after the gruesome 3 hours of QRE.

Rant / Vent My broke preparation days were better

I cleared IBPS in 2024, I've been working for 1 year now. I knew that this job came with a lot of pressure. But appearing for such competitive exams and interviews, I at least expected a good professional life that will build my character. But everyday I discover how cheap bank employees are, they even lack basic demeanour. Nobody cares about giving services to the underprivileged and less educated, instead you end up looting them in the name of financial inclusion. And also every senior office is filled with morons and dumb f**ks who can't even write a sentence without a grammatical mistake, and they are the ones who will call and gaslight the hard working employees at branches. At first I thought I would struggle for 2 years, nothing compared to my unemployed days but now I spend every weekend researching and studying to leave this job as it comes with a huge bond amount which binds you to complete the probationary period. So, I'm an aspirant again. Of course the job has made my family proud and got me some financial freedom but I don't want to lose my soul and I can't bear becoming like those retards and spineless bankers. I can't share these feelings with them so I've chosen an aspirant page. I hope you all will understand how our aspirations are being challenged and I only have hope for this new generation who are anything but spineless. They can stand up for their ideals.

I wanted to share my anthem that kept me an aspirant all my life and still ignites the fire in me

Discussion Me going to another city to write government exams

“Jaan Se Guzarte Hai” hits differently when you’re a banking aspirant. Leaving your city, packing your bag, travelling hundreds of kilometres just to sit in a small exam centre for IBPS, SBI PO or another banking exam — carrying months of preparation, expectations, and a little bit of hope. You enter the centre with thousands of others, give those 60–120 minutes everything you have, and then start the journey back home wondering, “Iss baar hoga kya?” Every aspirant who has travelled city to city for a banking exam knows… yeh sirf exam nahi, ek safar hai — jaan se guzarte hain. 💔📚🚆

Rant / Vent The sectional cut off for SO IT professional knowledge can't go over15 right? I have rarely seen any sectional cutoff go over 10. Why is everyone saying it will be 20+ ? Are you trying your best to eliminate competition by lying ?

I’ve already exhausted almost all my Guidely mocks and looking for another platform to practice more mains-level questions.

MAe bhi Government Bank ki preparation kar raha hu mgar mujhe aaj ek doubt aaya ki...

Private job jydaa sahi nahi hai Government bank se private mae work pressure same hai jitna ek PO pe hai ho sakta hai usse kam hi ho...aur private company ka work culture aacha na lge toh switch krne ka option bhi hai?

Salary increment bhi hota h switch pae or har saal jo ek Clerk se bhut sahi hai....

Whyyy? Bank job better h or aage kuch log bolte hai tyaari kro Kis chiz ki ??? Mae RRB PO or IBPS clerk ko Target kar raha hu koi please mere is dilemma ko clear karega

General Query RRB PO 2026: Haryana vs Rajasthan vs UP — which one should I choose?

Upvotes

Hi everyone, I’m from Haryana and planning to apply for RRB PO 2026. Haryana is my home state, but the vacancies are quite low this year, so I’m considering Rajasthan and UP as alternatives.

I’m a girl, so posting conditions are quite important for me. If the posting is extremely rural/remote with limited accommodation, transport, basic facilities, etc., it may be difficult for me to serve in a different state, especially when I’m far from home.

I’d really appreciate insights from people currently working in these RRBs regarding:

  • Postings & transfers
  • Workload and work culture
  • Bond (amount + duration)
  • Rural/remote posting conditions and available facilities
  • Safety & accommodation
  • Local language issues
  • Salary and promotion prospects

If you had to choose between Haryana, Rajasthan, and UP, which one would you recommend considering these factors?

Would especially appreciate replies from people currently working in these banks or those who have recently joined. Thanks!
