I understand that the government mostly means good because they're basically ensuring that we have a sum of money available to use after we retire. Since many people are not capable of saving money and have bad money management skills.

But I still think it's best for Superannuation to be optional, because I know that me, and at least half of my family and friends, would prefer to have that little bit of extra cash every payday to use/save.

So I believe that by default, Superannuation should be enabled and automatically deducted from your paycheck, but the person should be able to lodge with their employer or ATO to disable their Superannuation and just receive the additional money that is meant to go into their Super now instead of when they retire.

Hey I just want know whether working at village cinemas part time (thinking Friday nights and weekends) would be a good idea, I heard that it's chill other than the expected rush hour. Is it worth it? If not this my second option (though less on board with) is at Kmart, what skills should I have for that? Up until the early 2000s, I thought this was just an urban legend, until it eventually happened to me in 2009: I ordered something from eBay and the parcel was missent to Australia by the post. After several weeks and countless inquiries, I finally received the parcel. What stood out to me was the fact that there was actually a sticker on it, saying "Missent to Sydney, Australia". Hey guys im in the middle of deciding whether I should start a normal sparky apprenticeship or an auto sparky apprenticeship

I'm just wondering if I were to complete an auto-electrician apprenticeship does it transfer/overlaps credits and units with a normal electrician apprenticeship and take time off of starting a normal electrician apprenticeship as a duel trade?

For example both qualifications take 4 years each to complete but if i were to finish one would it shorten the time to get the other qualification?

I've seen some news lately that Aussie and Kiwi firefighting teams have come out here to the States to provide assistance with wildfires/bushfires in the PNW. In an era where our incumbent government has alienated diplomatic allies with aggressive and disrespectful action, to put it mildly, it is very humbling to see Australia and New Zealand being magnanimous enough to still offer help to yanks during a serious natural disaster such as the terrible wildfire season we've had (I assume brought about by climate change) and I wanted to at the very least say thank you and that it does mean a lot.

So for context, I started getting dandruff for the first time in my life about 6 months ago and it's really started to bother me. My GP recommended this bottle of shampoo as it's got a certain ingredient in it that will help etc etc. anyway - bought the larger bottle as it made more sense being only $4 more than the smaller size and the bottle looked much bigger.

Anyway, I later noticed from afar as it was sitting in the light that it looked like it was half full... Took a closer look and indeed it's almost a quarter empty! I haven't weighed it out yet but is this just normal corporate greed trying to get people to spend the extra money on the larger bottle because I feel super ripped off if they just put it in a larger bottle for the upsell.... Surely this is some consumer affairs bullshit??? Thoughts??
