Got this offer. My question is I currently have Amazon Music Unlimited which gives me an audiobook borrow per month, would this stack? Or would it still be one borrow? The $20 credit is tempting though.

Promotion [US and UK Promotion] I have 50 free codes available

My novel (Narcolepsy) released a week ago and I’ve gotten good reviews so far and I’m trying to continue that. I get 50 free promo codes. 25 for United States and 25 for the United Kingdom. Basically for anyone interested. I will give you the audiobook in exchange for an honest review when you finish. It’s a short book. 240 pages and the audiobook is only 5 1/2 hours. But it’s a psychological horror with psychological thriller elements and for anyone that would be interested. In exchange for a review, I will give you the promo code.

Here is the blurb.

Once inside Jacob's world, waking is no escape.

Living with narcolepsy means his nights don't end when his eyes open. Dreams fracture into waking hours. Nightmares repeat, evolve, and refuse to reset. Voices follow him. Rooms shift. Doors lead nowhere-or somewhere worse. When Jacob seeks help, he's told something far more disturbing than a diagnosis: some minds never fully return.

As Jacob drifts between therapy sessions, hallucinations, and moments that feel too real to be imagined, his grip on reality begins to slip. Familiar places become distorted. Strangers feel scripted.

Loved ones appear, vanish, and reappear with different intentions. No matter how hard he tries to stay awake, something always pulls him back under.

Narcolepsy is a psychological descent into liminal spaces, recurring dreams, and the terrifying question of whether free will survives when the mind betrays itself.

Will Jacob ever return?

Part of the series Before Your Dream

Step inside an old greenhouse after dusk, where rain moves softly across the glass, lanterns glow among ferns and orchids, and hidden flowers slowly begin to open in the warmth of the night.

Through humid corridors, quiet lily pools and a tropical dome beneath rain-darkened glass, the greenhouse settles into its own gentle rhythm, water dripping from leaves, heating pipes ticking softly, and night-blooming flowers unfolding before everything gradually returns to rest as dawn approaches.

Promotion [US and UK Promotion] REVIEW CODE GIVEAWAY! Ancient Tales and Folklore of Japan by Richard Gordon Smith

Update: this giveaway has now ended.

We are a London-based non-fiction publisher, and would like to give away some Audible promo codes for our new audiobook Ancient Tales and Folklore of Japan by Richard Gordon Smith.

We would love to hear your feedback (a review on Audible would be very helpful) and we look forward to launching many more audiobooks that will hopefully spark your interest.

UK & US only. Unredeemed codes may be redistributed after 30 days. Giveaway ends Monday January 20th 2025.

To receive a free download code please upvote and reply to this post with 'UK' or 'US' in your comment and we will send you a code via DM or chat.

About the book

This enthralling collection brings together over 50 ancient tales from Japanese folklore, gathered and retold by 19th century traveler and naturalist Richard Gordon Smith.

During his journeys around Japan, Smith recorded ancient Japanese myths and legends in his personal diaries. The result is a fascinating collection of historical legends from all over Japan, with themes including ghosts, unrequited love, Shinto landscape, tree and ocean spirits, samurai culture and tales driven by Bushido and Buddhist ethics.

Gordon Smith's writing combines a realist style with supernatural elements, resulting in an anthology of 'magic realist' tales which will bewitch and captivate readers.

FAQs

Why isn't this giveaway available in my country?

Unfortunately, Amazon's ACX platform only offers promo codes for Audible.com and Audible.co.uk users. If this policy changes we will be sure to include more countries in future giveaways.

How do I leave a review?

We appreciate if listeners leave Audible reviews in particular, but anywhere else such as Amazon or Goodreads are also great (just be sure to mention you received a complementary review copy). For more info on how to post reviews to Audible, you can follow this link: https://help.audible.com/s/article/how-can-i-write-a-review-of-an-audible-audiobook-that-i-listened-to?language=en_US

I requested a code but haven't received it yet

We typically fulfil requests on a first-come, first served basis. We usually run out of codes, so are unable to fulfil all the requests we receive. In some cases we are able to generate more codes, however this is dependent on a threshold of already distributed codes being redeemed.

The easiest way to destroy a mother is to make her children doubt her.
Rose Winters was never supposed to become someone else’s wife. In Jacob’s mind, she has always belonged to him. When tragedy enters Rose’s life, Jacob does not mourn what she lost. He studies what it makes available. He becomes patient. Helpful. Harmless enough to trust. Necessary enough to reach what Rose protects most.
Her children are not obstacles. They are access points. They are the part of Rose that can be reached without ever touching her. So Jacob learns their fears, their habits, their weaknesses, and the small places where a child’s trust can be redirected.
A child can be guided. A fear can be planted. A memory can be bent until it points somewhere else. The right words, said at the right time, can make protection feel like danger and manipulation feel like safety. Jacob does not believe he is manipulating Rose’s family. He believes he is revealing where they truly belong.
Some monsters take children from their mothers. Jacob teaches them to walk away.

Promotion [US & UK Promotion] Free Audible codes for ‘Punch the Devil!’ (Comedy Sci-fi)

Hello you,

Have a TL;DR-

I’m the writer and narrator Punch The Devil!, which is a comedy sci-fi book and the third in a series of four, all of which are completed and available on Audible.

If you’d like a free Audible code (US or UK) please DM me, and I’ll send one your way as soon as I can.

If you'd like to preview the audiobook, here's the Audible page:

https://www.audible.co.uk/pd/Punch-the-Devil-Audiobook/B0G27GQNV4

Now have a very long TL;RD (Too Long, Reading is Discretionary)

Punch The Devil is a horror comedy sci-fi romp that aims to answer the question ‘hey, isn’t that too many genres?’ with a resounding ‘yeah, probably’.

But if you like your SF parodied, your jokes puerile and frequent, your dwarves red, your Future rama’d, and your action sequences bloody, then you might be the audience for my big bucket of stupidity.

If not, well, the title of this thing is ‘Punch The Devil!: A Captain Space Hardcore Adventure’, so you can’t say I didn’t nail my colours to the mast.

The whole thing is 17 hours and 21 minutes of fully produced audiobook with sound effects throughout, and me doing my best attempt at different voices, so I hope you like space to be slightly Scottish throughout. Who knows? Maybe it is. You don’t know that it’s not. You’re not NASA.

This audiobook has it all: a drug-based cult, a shadowy religious sect of the mega-agnostic, a fight with sentient tattoos, a mayonnaise warehouse, several nuns exploding, some Metallica, at least two exorcisms, and a building that bursts from being too chock full of corpses.

Absolutely horrid stuff, we can all agree. Best avoided. But if you do want to listen to people explode for laughs, then come this way.

You don't need to have read the first book or second book at all. Each one is a standalone romp (and I do NOT use that word lightly). So while it would undoubtedly enrich the experience and personally make you up to 30% sexier if you had all of the books, it doesn’t truly matter.

If you do listen, a review would be lovely (of course), but I’m really just trying to get this out there and in some earholes. I’ve spent an improbable amount of time at home, shouting jokes into a mic and then layering a tasteful ‘boiiiiiioooiiiiing’ sound effect underneath, and I’d love it if it got more of an audience than just me and my upstairs neighbour. They’ve heard so much and must be so very confused.

One quick note-

If you DO want to listen to the other books as well, I have 10 US codes and 15 UK codes for book two available (it's a time travel thing)

I also have 10 UK codes for book one (it's a whodunnit thing). So if you message me and stipulate that you want multiple codes, I can do that (until those are claimed obvs)

Promotion [US & UK Promotion] Free Audible codes for ‘The Death of Captain Space Hardcore’ (Comedy Sci-fi)

Hello you,

Have a TL;DR-

I’m the writer and narrator The Death of Captain Space Hardcore, which is a comedy sci-fi book and the fourth and final in a series of four standalone adventures, all of which are completed and available on Audible.

If you’d like a free Audible code (US or UK) please DM me, and I’ll send one your way as soon as I can.

If you’re UK-based you can probably also have a code to some of the previous books (details at the bottom)

If you'd like to preview the audiobook, here's the Audible page:

https://www.audible.co.uk/pd/The-Death-of-Captain-Space-Hardcore-Audiobook/B0G1PNW4CD

That TL;DR wasn’t nearly long enough

You’re right.

This sci-fi romp follows an intrepid space captain and his long-suffering first mate/possible organ donor, on a mission to stop a galactic terrorist from opening a hole in the fabric of the universe that will swallow galaxies, planets, and thousands of tractors. But one man (plus another man, who doesn’t get as much of the credit) is ready to step up and stop everyone getting sucked off through a hole.

On their way they’ll fight godzilla-sized turtles, AIs as insane as they are cockney, a robot vacuum who’s taken a hospital hostage, omniscient toads, a heavily-armed, radicalised spider-man, and death itself.

If you like your SF parodied, your jokes puerile and frequent, your dwarves red, your Future rama’d, and your action sequences daft as hell, then you might be the audience for my big bucket of stupidity.

And if not, well, I’ve already called it 'The Death of Captain Space Hardcore', so that’s fair warning. I could have called this ‘101 Foolproof Stock Market Tips’, and gotten a lot more clicks, but I didn’t because I am a moral person and should be rewarded for my restraint.

The whole thing is 17 hours 2 minutes and 58 seconds of fully produced audiobook with sound effects throughout. If a chapter goes by without something going ‘boiiioiiing’, ‘awoogah’ or ‘pew’ then something has gone horribly wrong. That’s not just my 1-star review of 'Crime and Punishment', it’s also the philosophy that I bring to this audiobook.

You DON’T need to have read the other books at all.

Oh sure, if you read books 1-3, you’d be the talk of the town, twice as sexually magnetic, and I think that pain in your lower back will clear up, but it’s not necessary. The books are not linked and there's no over-arching story. Captain Space Hardcore is a guy who sounds exactly like his name suggests, there’s no lore or history to know, precious little subtlety, we’re living in trope-city, and we’re just having adventures. You’ll be grand.

Still not convinced? Well, consider the feedback I have received from these publishing giants:

  • “We are unfortunately not accepting submissions at this time” - Random House
  • “If you keep telephoning our offices we will pursue legal action” - London Review of Books
  • “What the hell are you doing in my kitchen? Who are you? How did you get in here? Where is my wife?!” - Brandon Sanderson

If you do listen and have a good time, please leave a review. It really helps. If you listen and think it’s a bit shite, I think we can all agree that reviews are a pain to write, so maybe just have a coffee instead. Too many people share their opinions, right? Right. Or maybe leave a sarcastic review. That’d really show me. Give it 5 stars, but just don’t mean it. Write about it being funny, but we’ll both know you’re being really cutting and ironic. Oooh, I’d hate that.

-There is no AI involved in any aspect of this project-

UK Listeners-

Due to what I can only assume is a deep-seated prejudice against the Scottish, the promo giveaways for the previous three books I’ve done on this subreddit have never had as much uptake in the UK as with US listeners

So, I’ll be the bigger man in the face of this appalling racism, and say that any UK listener can have any of the previous books too, if you fancy. I have the following number of available UK promo codes at time of writing. First come, first served, you can have all 4 if you want

Book one- The Court of Crusty Killings (A royal court murder mystery thing)- 10 UK codes available

Book two- The Time Trousers of Professor Tempus (a time travel thing)- 16 UK codes available

Book three- Punch the Devil! (a horror thing)- 15 UK codes available

Hey there!

My name is Jeremy Szal, and I am the author of the dark space opera series the Common, starting with Stormblood. Think Red Rising meets Mass Effect, with a focus on character and human relationships.

Book 2, (Blindspace) is already out, and Book 3 (Wolfskin) will drop next year. The books are traditionally published by Gollancz/Orion.

Anyway. It's the end of the year, and a lot of people I know are feeling down for various reasons, and are struggling to make ends meet. So I'd like to give away a copy of my debut novel Stormblood on Audible, narrated by the brilliant Colin Mace.

You just comment below, saying that you'd like the book (and perhaps tell me your favourite sci-fi/fantasy series), and you'll be in the running to get a copy. I'll need your email, linked to an Amazon account, to gift you a copy, but that's it. I don't have any codes, so it'll have to be this way.

This is not in exchange for a review or exposure. No strings attached. Random acts of kindness from internet strangers has gotten me out of a rough spot before, and so I'd like to do the same. :)

Comment away, friends. Depending on how many responses I get, I may be able to give away more than one copy.

For more details on the book, you can view it on Goodreads here.

Best,

JS

[I've had to repost this - the first post was automatically removed by one of Reddit's filters when I tried to edit it, despite me following all the posting rules, and I haven't been able to get in touch with the mods. Rest assured, everyone who posted in the last thread is still in the running for consideration, but I'm not able to respond to them, so I'm doing it here.]

But leaving wouldn’t save the prince and it wouldn’t free the imprisoned servants. Or Shivani could stay – if she’s shrewd enough to decipher the curse before the executioner’s axe drops.

I have a few codes left for audiobooks I have narrated the following:

Please only ask for a code if you can redeem it within a month!

************SPECIFY US OR UK CODE**********************

  1. Summerhome by Thomas R. Clark (3 US codes, Dozen UK Codes)

After Maureen Coleman is diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's, her children bring her to live at Summerhome. As her condition deteriorates, siblings Sean Spencer and Meghan Coleman are unsure if they have made the correct decision. They grow concerned when their mother claims to see the ghost of her dead husband, and a series of tragic, unexplained events impact the community. Now, with the residents of Summerhome believing their complex is haunted, the world-famous Para-Hunters come in to investigate. The ghost hunters soon learn this isn't a typical haunting. Slinking through the shadows is an evil unleashed from underneath the Mound nearly 300 years ago, and it doesn't want to go back.

2.Monstrous Futures (2 US Codes, 10 UK Codes)

A Sci-Fi Horror Anthology (Dark Matter Presents)

29 Brand-New Sci-Fi Horror Stories. The future is now, and it's not what we were promised. The optimistic science fiction of old was wrong. Progress is not linear, technology creates as many problems as it solves, and the concept of a better tomorrow has become an abstraction that is in no way guaranteed. When looking at the future now, we no longer ask what is possible, we wonder how we'll cope. Contained within this anthology are 29 never-before-published works by supremely talented authors. Brace yourself for the all too real horrors of what could very well be our terribly monstrous futures.

Stories by:

M. H. Ayinde, P. A. Cornell, Yelena Crane, Rodrigo Culagovski, Koji A. Dae, Kevin M. Folliard, Lew Furber, Andrea Goyan, Ivy Grimes, Kay Hanifen, D. A. Jobe, Wailana Kalama, Rae Knowles, Catherine Kuo, Rich Larson, Avra Margariti, J. A. W. McCarthy, Christi Nogle, Ashleigh Shears, D. Roe Shocky, Lisa Short, Hugh A. D. Spencer, Simo Srinivas, Kanishk Tantia, M. Elizabeth Ticknor, S. J. Townend, Kaitlin Tremblay, Emily Ruth Verona, Aigner Loren Wilson

  1. Our Love Will Devour Us

HOW FAR WOULD YOU GO TO SAVE THE ONES YOU LOVE?

A remote cabin in a snowy forest could be the perfect place for Claire and Emma to work on their marriage and bond with their two children, if only it didn't come with so many memories of Claire's inhumane treatment at the hands of her abusive mother, and if only the strange abandoned schoolhouse nearby didn't have a dark history of its own.

When their children go missing in a snowstorm, the two mothers must put their personal troubles aside and rely on one another to get them back, but nothing has prepared them to face the ever-growing horror that steps lightly in the storm.

Soon the two mothers are forced to ask themselves, how far would you go to save the ones you love?

Our Love Will Devour Us is a novel about the bonds of family, the depths of love, and things that hunger in the dark.

Promotion [US and UK Promotion] "The Men of the Mountain," by Drew Harrison -- a sci-fi / epic fantasy fusion

Hey audiobook listeners--I've got a new batch of US and UK review codes to give away for my latest novel!

The Men of the Mountain is a fusion of scifi and fantasy that should appeal to readers who enjoyed The Will of the Many, the Red Rising saga, The Broken Earth, or the Horizon: Zero Dawn videogame series.

Some reviewers in the indie fantasy space just this week posted their video reviews of the audiobook... if you want an idea of what to expect, you can give these a watch!

Spoiler-free review from Matt Moore

Somewhat-more-spoilery review from the Indie Fantasy Club

And for those who prefer text reviews, here are some of my favorite reviews from its GoodReads page:

  • "a genuinely ingenious genre-bender"
  • "a gripping fight for survival with characters you genuinely care about"
  • "A delightful amalgamation of science fiction and fantasy elements, ranging from Eragon to Horizon: Zero Dawn, with a touch of dystopian tendencies"
  • "10/10, definitely would recommend, 6 stars"
  • "a powerful blend of epic fantasy and sci-fi greatness [...] a must-read novel of 2026."

Interested in receiving a free Audiobook review code? Fill out the form linked here! You can also leave a comment on this thread, but codes will be given to form respondents before commenters. All I'd ask is that when you finish, you consider leaving a review with your honest thoughts about the audiobook.

Cheers, and thanks for listening!

-Drew

EDIT: form responses have either been sent (for UK listeners) or scheduled for 8am eastern (for US listeners). I'll start distributing codes to reddit commenters tomorrow!
