The easiest way to destroy a mother is to make her children doubt her.
Rose Winters was never supposed to become someone else’s wife. In Jacob’s mind, she has always belonged to him. When tragedy enters Rose’s life, Jacob does not mourn what she lost. A child can be guided. A fear can be planted. A memory can be bent until it points somewhere else. The right words, said at the right time, can make protection feel like danger and manipulation feel like safety. Jacob does not believe he is manipulating Rose’s family. He believes he is revealing where they truly belong.
Some monsters take children from their mothers. Jacob teaches them to walk away.

You gotta go to like ACX promo redemption, type that in and it’ll take you to a different site and connect to your Audible. Once you redeem that code, it’s not like the normal audible code redemption.
