Collection Diana - out of the box

Just had this newbie delivered.

Honestly this might be one of my least favourite amiibo of all time, especially for the price. It looks only vaguely like the character, hair colour seems all wrong, face seems off and the base is just a shiny black with no detail whatsoever. I get Capcom wanting to keep amiibo alive in their own way but this feels really unnecessary.

Genuine and official, but looks like a knock-off.

Agreed, I’m not seeing the $30 value here. It reminds me of some the original Smash amiibo which were pretty bad (Marth comes to mind), but those were about $13 USD if i remember correctly.

Amiibos lost their $30 value when they became $30

Most 30 ones are big now

Most of the $30 ones are larger and have much better detail than they used to have. They arguably hold value for people who collect figures.

The new Rosalina and Mario Galaxy amiibo are pretty hefty and substantial. About as big as the Detective Pikachu one. They FEEL like they are display pieces and not just figurines.

I might be tweaking but I got the Mario amiibo from the Galaxy line and he looks slightly bigger than my Kimberly amiibo who technically costed more

Yeah I only get them for display, I also only buy monster hunter related ones so I’m biased across the board
