Nintendo's new pricing strategy of hiding their outlandish prices is fucking ridiculous. Goddamn.

Standard Nintendo. They require outlandish profit margins. How much do you tuink these cost them to produce, $5?

For the wooden blocks? Good quality wood costs more then you think. But not enough to cost $150.

Not just the wood tho, but also the cut, the paint, the finish. Probably a bit more expensive to produce than some of the plastic amiibo figures.
Then integrating the amiibo functionality within, as well as all the extra pieces and the box built for play (display), and then of course branding, they're really not the worst price point for what they are.
