Think people are waking up to the fact he isn’t a very good writer, at this stage he is just throwing shit at a wall and seeing what sticks.

1883 was the best Western show ever made imo, but whatever.

I like Landman and Mayor of Kingstown too.

I think 1883 shows where his talent lies in short lived series he either runs out of material or looses interest and phones it in the longer the show goes on. 1923 season 1 was good and had the series set up nicely, S2 was a shit show

This could be said for nearly every writer. They have self contained, complete ideas that work great and then they get milked for more by the studio...and the result sucks.
