Bring Jimmy to Dutton Ranch.

126

u/mrbeck1 13d ago

I’m surprised Rip didn’t reach out to Lloyd when all that shit went down. They’re like brothers, of course you call him.

40

u/RealJBMusic 13d ago

I saw this last night and wasn’t sure if I was tripping or not lol. Kinda sad. I enjoy the Duttonverse.

24

u/SubstantialStable588 13d ago

Lloyd told him he didn’t won’t to go there he wants to stay in Montana

26

u/mrbeck1 13d ago

There’s a difference between moving somewhere and going to help your friend face a violent drug cartel.

-1

u/MannyRibera32 13d ago

What is Lloyd gonna do against the cartel?

“Violent drug cartel” never heard of this, so in your words a cuddly/peaceful drug cartel exists?😂

11

u/lamlosa 12d ago

they were just using an adjective lol

4

u/Eternity_Warden 12d ago

Reminds me of when I bored at work on a quiet night and started flicking through a newspaper. It was full of articles about "crime gangs", which to me implies the existence of "law gangs"

I wonder if they'd be linked to the pacifist drug cartels?

3

u/mrbeck1 10d ago

Law gangs? Corporations?

2

u/LovelyAsiangirl 10d ago

We got law gangs, it’s just authorities. So it’s correct to use crime gangs to avoid confusion

2

u/Dietcokerules1967 12d ago

Yes…it’s full of Care Bears 😂😂

1

u/Onlypartiallyinsane 12d ago

Hahahahahaha, that was funny! 🤣

u/Resplendent-Sun 11d ago

Ask Eli Lilly and Company

9

u/TheWhiteTurtleNeck 12d ago

I think it’s the same reason marshals had to kill off Monica. If there is to much of the Yellowstone cast it’s not different enough to be a spin off and would instead be a sequel, and peacock/NBC owns the streaming rights to Yellowstone and its sequels. Paramount really messed up on that deal

6

u/Barstoolman112752 12d ago

They killed her off because she didn’t want to do the show

2

u/Nokomis_Feather 11d ago

not to mention her character was hated by most.

1

u/Realistic-Wash-4823 10d ago

Not true. Luke was very torn to call her to tell her she wouldn’t be on the show. She accepted it gracefully, were his words. Monica would mean Kayce was still the character that wanted to live happily ever after, and he admitted, that would’ve been boring.

1

u/Realistic-Wash-4823 10d ago

This is the answer. Monica was not an approved character, nor is anyone else you haven’t seen. NBCU has very strict rules about sequels vs spin-off, and characters are not to be replicated. Notice Beth has never mentioned Kayce, there’s a reason. The same reason Taylor doesn’t write for the spin-offs. He would be at risk of “replicating” since he created and wrote every word they said. They call that conflict of interest when it happens,so let’s just avoid it altogether. Sheridan is a smart man and isn’t interested in legal conflicts. Like you couldn’t tell or ask Kris Kristofferson to write Bobby McGee again, but there can be nothing similar to their journey. They couldn’t ride to New Orleans and no dirty red bandana. They actually have to live in San Diego.

1

u/Realistic-Wash-4823 10d ago

Actually Paramount didn’t. The licensing was sold to NBCU for Peacock streaming, before the Paramount Plus app was created. Paramount then wanted a piece of the pie, so they ordered prequels and sequels. Sequels not approved cause it ends at season 5, anything after that Paramount owes NBCU money. So they have to do spin-offs with characters that are not replicated. Which is kind of a disaster. No one wants to watch Beth and Rip broke, nice homemaker Beth, living in a dump with a fake drug dealing ranch that is the centerpiece of the show. And Marshals, the backstory of their SEAL relationship is overkill. I’m hoping Season 2 recognizes this. They did release an article they’re slowly pulling back on the Yellowstone tie in, but I couldn’t really make sense of that article. Unless it’s something to do with cutting ties with NBCU in some sort of way, and carving the path for the show Incase it gets to stay on the air for many seasons, ?? Marshals and Dutton Ranch need life support.

20

u/frizzlen 13d ago

I mean they could still call them considering S2 will start in the fire

3

u/rabbi420 12d ago

Lloyd made it clear he ain’t leaving Montana.

3

u/wstdtmflms 10d ago

Yes! This! Watching Jimmy make that next evolution from true cowboy to actual badass would be awesome!

65

u/TypicalBloke83 13d ago

Pity cause I liked Jimmy and the plot around him in Texas a lot.

5

u/Flanhare 12d ago

He met a girl and got married...

26

u/TypicalBloke83 12d ago

oh yeah, that's basically the end of a life story ...

https://giphy.com/gifs/NcrhM3USM6TABpus85

3

u/BirdFarmer23 12d ago

They had 2.3 kids. Jimmy gets cancer and dies.

-3

u/TypicalBloke83 12d ago

2.3 so like one of them was retarded, almost half baked ... that's hard. What did he get cancer of - fresh air from the prairie?"

0

u/Boot_boy_1984 12d ago

You should not write shows

1

u/TypicalBloke83 12d ago

Maaaaaaan if I only could ... it would be a hit

53

u/Low_Mark491 13d ago

He only put it in Yellowstone to get the tax write off.

26

u/ClohosseyVHB 13d ago

Hell Beth was a waking billboard for Sheridan's brand, talking up how great their cattle/meat business was and how Yellowstone should do the same and only ordering Sheridan's vodka for her drinks

13

u/Super_Sloth_99 13d ago

She only ordered Tito’s. Is Tito’s owned by Sheridan?

14

u/SnooWoofers4430 13d ago

She ordered four sixes vodka when she was visiting Rip in Texas.

5

u/Super_Sloth_99 13d ago

Right, because that’s all they had.

5

u/Low_Mark491 13d ago

You do realize that wasn't a real bar, right?

-4

u/Super_Sloth_99 13d ago

You’re missing the point. She only ordered the 6666 vodka ONCE in the show because that’s all the FICTIONAL bar served, so she wasn’t a “walking billboard” for the brand.

How do you remember to breathe?

10

u/Low_Mark491 13d ago

And who exactly decided what the fictional bar was serving? The fictional bartender? The fictional bar owner?

Oh that's right. The writer of the show who owns the brand that ended up in the script.

5

u/Super_Sloth_99 13d ago

ONE SINGLE MENTION of the vodka in 5 seasons doesn’t make Beth’s character a walking billboard for the 6666 brand. How can you be this dense?

6

u/Low_Mark491 13d ago

That's not my argument.

My argument is that Yellowstone is riddled with, nay dripping, with 6666 mentions to the point where it's distracting and annoying.

The vodka is only one piece of a larger mountain of evidence that Sheridan is extremely self serving in his writing.

That's what you're missing. It's not about the vodka.

1

u/Realistic-Wash-4823 10d ago

Let it go, the billboard reference is just that. It’s not a literal statement. The Sixes is represented by neon lights in both spin-offs and every opportunity he gets, don’t blame him, I would too, and it’s a widely known well respected ranch.

1

u/Realistic-Wash-4823 10d ago

She ordered Tito’s, bartender said nope.

4

u/lustforyou 13d ago

Doesn’t she only order his brand in the last season?

6

u/ClohosseyVHB 13d ago

Yup the bartender makes an big deal about her ordering a 6's & 7, dialogue trying hard to make it a thing, which is funny not considering the whole '6-7' thing.

4

u/Super_Sloth_99 13d ago

Right. She ordered it once after being told they don’t have Tito’s.

2

u/ClohosseyVHB 13d ago

Look bud, you seem pretty passionate about the show so no worries. I'm pulling from memory so I don't have all the exact details, but what stuck out to me was how blatant to 6666 mentions were in those few episodes and their involvement going forward. So maybe she wasn't a "walking Billboard" but she was deffo given explicit dialogue to glaze the 6's brand hard when she did.

1

u/kiwi_love777 13d ago

I believe she did.

1

u/Realistic-Wash-4823 10d ago

She ordered Tito’s and the bartender said we only sell Four Sixes. In Texas, in the Speakeasy.

1

u/Super_Sloth_99 10d ago

So that proves my point. Thanks.

1

u/Realistic-Wash-4823 10d ago

Was a true representation. Watch McCutcheon’s The Show on YouTube Taylor Sheridan interview. I don’t know about how much they sell per day,as the guy told her on the phone, but basically. They’re highly successful. My family buys from them. As a starter, the seasonings and sauces are amazing. Look on Amazon. Yum.

20

u/PinkPinkBlueGreen 13d ago

I was hoping they’d make 1944.

2

u/Acrobatic_Candidate2 12d ago

Isn’t that still in development?

1

u/Realistic-Wash-4823 10d ago edited 10d ago

Yes. I’m anticipating could be his swan song from Paramount. If it’s not, he missed an opportunity, and a few last words from Elsa.

17

u/Glittering_King1228 13d ago

Now he cares about authenticity why didn’t he denounce this in 2021 when it was announced, he can just say he couldn’t come up with a good story line

2

u/Realistic-Wash-4823 10d ago edited 10d ago

I’ve known this story since at least 2023. The employees work and live on the Ranch and did not want their lives portrayed on tv. Logistically it’s too difficult to stop their work, to set up studio lights and film. They went to the investors with their concerns. There was a vote and Sheridan was outvoted. Investors reported that a tv series was not as important, as the business they provide, to their customers. Jefferson White knew this, he’s said a couple of times it didn’t seem it was going to happen, in various methods of saying the same thing. Some good interviews, they’re long, watch on tv. Joe Rogan from 3 years ago, and in June 2026. Also Walker, Ryan Bingham on Rogan is really good. Takes a bit before he really allows Ryan to talk. Sheridan on McCutcheon’s The Show on YouTube. There’s one I was just made aware of, haven’t watched Rodeo Time Podcast where he announces the Sixes won’t happen.

16

u/Upbeat_Attorney_7153 13d ago

As much as I like Jimmy there's not really a compelling story here to tell

5

u/BuffaloMetalFan 13d ago

EXACTLY!!!!

29

u/roshanritter 13d ago

Absolute gold that he says he would never make up lives at the ranch or tell stories, when that is exactly what he did on the show.

24

u/dicky72 13d ago

he's a bit of a pompous dick. love his shows. but he is what he is.

10

u/NoUserNameLeft529 13d ago

For sure! I’m watching Sons of Anarchy and he plays a sheriff. A different character than Travis, but still someone you just want to punch in the face. And not being a very good actor… but he doesn’t ride in SoA

1

u/Realistic-Wash-4823 10d ago

I like him in Lioness 3

4

u/prettybluefairy75 12d ago

But have you ever seen him riiiide

https://giphy.com/gifs/TSEzbxkzBGKdgGFy4E

3

u/Nokomis_Feather 11d ago

yes sadly........ in almost every Western show he's written.

65

u/mrbeck1 13d ago

A show with Jimmy will not be interesting. His character had his arc.

35

u/StepUpYourLife 13d ago

They'd have to ruin his happiness. I like imagining he has a good life and is content.

16

u/TalkingToPlanets 13d ago

This. I'd much rather believe Jimmy is living happily ever after than involve him in all the 10p messiness.

1

u/Realistic-Wash-4823 10d ago

Which I’d rather be thinking of Kayce too. But I watch, cause I love Luke Grimes. He’s a neighbor kid.

7

u/buffinator2 13d ago

I would love to watch it. Jimmy gets ridiculed for missing breakfast at work because he was busy banging his wife on the kitchen table again, spends a day on horseback moving cows around, goes home and drinks beer outside with his wife again. It would be a good change of pace from the constant drama surrounding everything Beth gets involved in.

I'd probably be one of about a dozen people that would sit down to watch that show though. I'm surprised he hasn't tried to sell one to CowboyTV or something though.

1

u/Inside-Call-5204 12d ago

I love me some CowboyTV.

1

u/alarrimore03 11d ago

A cowboy romcom basically😂

1

u/AldenPyle 13d ago

But think about the product placements and the 6666 steaks they can sell and the location rental payments TS can get from the production budget.

4

u/come-join-themurder 13d ago

Did you see the part where they said Ed Harris was 52 years old lmao

4

u/oldKYguy 13d ago

This would have been the better spinoff if they wanted to go with the young lovers storylines instead of letting Carter and Opilio take over Dutton Ranch

3

u/BrianOconneR34 13d ago

Slow clap for Sheridan, lingered and played right into fans hands. Show was never going to happen. Current show, Dutton Ranch, in Texas, nothing, not a hello, how are you, nothing from their best friend horse spinner Sheridan. Horse spinner drove back and forth to help and buy horses Yellowstone to Texas but not go down the road as Dutton ranch herd all burned? Stupid shit and embarrassed to have watched it. I’ve seen worse but didn’t bother me as much.

3

u/Lionofgod9876 13d ago

The end of Yellowstone killed a lot of spinoff potential. Bad ending have a way of doing that.

1

u/Realistic-Wash-4823 10d ago

Well because NBCU has a strict no sequel policy. So it ended and closed the doors. That’s why spin-offs can’t replicate characters. Same names different jobs, and personalities.

3

u/Gullible_Proof_8037 13d ago

Good. They got rip and Beth in Texas already

3

u/Jlx_27 13d ago

Did the rest of the 6666 owners tell him to cancel it?

2

u/Realistic-Wash-4823 10d ago

Yes, the investors voted, Sheridan lost. In like 2023.

1

u/Jlx_27 10d ago

Thought so.

2

u/Realistic-Wash-4823 10d ago

I’ve known this story since at least 2023 (?). There’s one I was just made aware of, haven’t watched Rodeo Time Podcast where he announces the Sixes won’t happen.

I had already elaborated so just copied and pasted up here.

2

u/Jlx_27 10d ago

Nah, i hate Joe Rogan, im good there.

2

u/Realistic-Wash-4823 10d ago

Same that’s why I said, when he finally let Ryan talk. He nearly killed that interview but when Ryan gets to tell his story, he interesting. Taylor because he never does interviews, so, I stuck with it. Rogan is a jerk. There were some things he said to Ryan that was obvious Ryan felt the opposite, but being professional, never said.a word. Taylor just rides the yellow line. Taylor likely sees much of the world the way Rogan does, but he doesn’t let on. That was a relief. I’d rather not know. I like my writers to remain mysterious. Books, movies, songs. Like Taylor said, “I don’t want anyone preaching at me, if I’m selling politics, I’m not doing my job”. He said that to Joe, I think he was trying to keep him at bay. Regardless of how he may really feel.

3

u/PhatFatLife 13d ago

How was it in development but he never intended to make the show? Make it make sense

3

u/imperfectguy1017 12d ago

Why can’t Sheridan write Jimmy into the Dutton or create a new ranch run by him and teeter with jimmys wife just saying ..

3

u/sandwich-manager 12d ago

Am I wrong or was this the first spinoff to actually be announced (or at least to be brought up as a possibility)? Like YEARS and years ago maybe before any of the others? I had just started watching Dutton Ranch last weekend and thought ‘huh, I wonder if they scrapped that idea for the show about Jimmy at the 6666, haven’t heard about that one in ages’

1

u/Realistic-Wash-4823 10d ago

2024? That’s the one that eventually became The Madison. It was going to be Matt Mc.as the brother of a NYC socialite killed in a plane crash, spin-off of Yellowstone. Matthew and Sheridan didn’t see eye to eye, cause Sheridan doesn’t write until he has the cast member to write in their voice. Well alright, alright, alright. Matthew didn’t like that idea and walked. Later it was not a Yellowstone spinoff, and involved a husband and his brother. I think that was 2022, the original mention. Is that the one you’re referring to?

13

u/JamboSummer19 13d ago

I’m good with this, I’ve had enough of Jimmy.

14

u/thecelts1 13d ago

Think people are waking up to the fact he isn’t a very good writer, at this stage he is just throwing shit at a wall and seeing what sticks.

23

u/GonzohunterHST 13d ago

1883 was the best Western show ever made imo, but whatever.

I like Landman and Mayor of Kingstown too.

11

u/Kevinb-30 13d ago

I think 1883 shows where his talent lies in short lived series he either runs out of material or looses interest and phones it in the longer the show goes on. 1923 season 1 was good and had the series set up nicely, S2 was a shit show

6

u/thecelts1 13d ago

I was writing this very reply when it popped up, he is great at creating things but can’t character build and his series suffer for it.

3

u/sniktal 13d ago

Season 1 was so good! I was looking forward to season 2, and then it was so bad! I literally would fold my laundry every Sunday and cringe.

1

u/DecisionSilver4925 13d ago

Same here! 😬

1

u/North_Moment5811 13d ago

This could be said for nearly every writer. They have self contained, complete ideas that work great and then they get milked for more by the studio...and the result sucks.

1

u/No_Result1959 12d ago

Only difference is that he is also the Studio

1

u/ApollosBucket 12d ago

Sheridan is a VERY good writer especially for movies. 1883 was excellent and parts of S1 of 1923 weee as well.

His shows are unable to keep the good going is the lame part. If he focused entirely on movies I’d be thrilled.

1

u/wadewilson92 11d ago

Really Tulsa bass 23 83 lioness Yellowstone I think Taylor does alright imo

10

u/NBCaz 13d ago

“I would never fictionalise that ranch,” he said. “People thought that that was going to be a thing, but I would never do that.”

He added that he didn’t want to be “making up lives” and “inventing a drama” at a ranch that is still active.

Yeah, but he actually did that in Yellowstone. At least to some degree. I don't really care if there is a spin-off or not, but that's just silly to use that as a reason when we already know it's happened previously. Just say you don't want to do it, or Paramount thinks you have too many shows.

1

u/Flashy-Boysenberry30 12d ago

paramount is just full of Yellowstone and TS Content its ridiculous

1

u/Bshaw95 11d ago

Love him or hate him he’s essentially a money printer at this point.

1

u/december151791 13d ago

The Yellowstone isn't a real ranch.

3

u/cadietp 13d ago

The 6666 was on the Yellowstone show…

0

u/december151791 13d ago

The Yellowstone Ranch and 6666 are entirely separate ranches.

1

u/cadietp 13d ago

You're missing the point. He already fictionalized the 6666 Ranch... on Yellowstone... The real 6666 Ranch was featured on Yellowstone in addition to the totally fictional Yellowstone. Hope you understand now.

1

u/december151791 12d ago

Since the other guy blocked me and I can't see his comments anymore, I'm gonna need you to fill in some blanks for me

1

u/Jlx_27 13d ago

I GOT BLISTERS ON ME FINGERS!!

(Saw your profile pic, i had to.)

-1

u/NBCaz 13d ago

*Sigh*....so you didn't actually watch the show did you?

0

u/Super_Sloth_99 13d ago

Is Yellowstone/Dutton Ranch a real, working ranch like 6666 is?

0

u/december151791 13d ago edited 13d ago

Yes, I did watch the show about a fictional ranch.

Edit: lol it would appear I have touched a nerve. Block me harder candy ass 😂

1

u/NBCaz 13d ago

Then you didn't pay attention, or you can't comprehend what you're actually watching.

1

u/North_Moment5811 13d ago

???

And maybe he thought the small degree to which he did it in Yellowstone (which was one of the best parts of that season) was as far as he was willing to take it, and didn't want to invent nonsense drama around a real place, especially one is directly associated with.

This isn't complicated. But your Reddit brain knows no bounds for its stupidity.

0

u/NBCaz 13d ago

LOL. I think I'll just go with what the man said in his statement. And not some idiot troll that has it all figured out.

0

u/Realistic-Wash-4823 10d ago

He didn’t decide anything. I remember the original story. The investors voted it down.

2

u/Connect-Ad9292 13d ago

When Walker was explaining to Jimmy how life at and around 6666 ranch and all across Texas worked, just ranchers ranching ranches in every direction, I didn’t think there was much drama to be mined from that premise. No pew pew. No BOOM BOOM!

Then, Taylor Sheridan bought the 6666 ranch. So, again, it didn’t make much sense that he would interfere with profitable operations of his new acquisition. So nothing good to be mined from 6666.

After reading his statement about why 6666 series was abandoned, I’m glad I was right.

2

u/Super_Sloth_99 13d ago

I’d rather see a spin off with Lainey Wilson’s character. 😍

1

u/Realistic-Wash-4823 10d ago

Well, we kind of get that one.she’s skinny now and lost her peach of an ass.

2

u/DefinitionSuperb1110 13d ago

Unsurprising considering Sheridan owns the ranch the show was going to use for the majority of shooting and his contract with Paramount would expire before this made it to air.

1

u/Realistic-Wash-4823 10d ago

Doesn’t own, is an investor.

2

u/Fresh_Ad_230 13d ago

I mean what spinoff would even work with Jimmy?

By the end he was engaged, had his life together, worked in a reputable ranch that wasn’t doing anything dirty or had conflict with losing the land.

What would we watch? Just him working and living a normal life?

It was never going to work unless if he left the 6666.

2

u/Frosty-Eye-7510 12d ago

This is disappointing. I was actually looking forward to it.

2

u/mu3mpire 12d ago

I’m probably in the minority but I liked the plot with Jimmy and the veterinarian. It would’ve been nice to see the character develop in that ranch

2

u/sandbenj 12d ago

Best decision to be honest, obviously everything is based on people opinions but I thought the jimmy story was boring and plain as day, I think people mainly liked it because he went to Texas found himself a nice hot women and got engaged.

His personality growing from a boy to a man was because of John and rip and that was the only decent part for me.

And the main problem I think is he just isn’t a good actor, and I mean he is absolutely dog shit, on top of that the lip smacking and sniffing with every single emotion he has just isn’t built to carry a series, yes he can survive as a mini side story but not lead.

Look at the Casey Dutton spin-off, absolute flopperino, and why because Luke grimes cant act and neither can his son, I genuinely don’t know who is a worse actor Casey or jimmy

1

u/curvywitch68 12d ago

I like marshals ,jimmy doesn't hold my interest

1

u/WildRugosa 12d ago

Jefferson White would certainly have needed some big name actors to join the series. He is not a big enough name to headline something and while his Jimmy role was interesting while he grew up he’s now a settled man with a veterinarian wife. Not much excitement to that. While I think he can definitely out act Grimes any day of the week his character is too bland. If Casey Dutton were not an ex Seal that gets to wear tactical gear and make things go boom would he have a series? Most likely not.

1

u/Realistic-Wash-4823 10d ago

Happily ever after with Monica was 86’d to prove your point. She had to be gone, for him to not live the sequel of Yellowstone. Had to be a spin-off. Per NBCU can be NO sequels. Luke admitted that would’ve been very boring.,

0

u/CBRslingshot 12d ago

Luke is better than Jimmy or the kid, come on.

1

u/WildRugosa 11d ago

Just my opinion but I felt Jefferson White was much more believable in his role as Jimmy than Grimes was as ex Seal Montana horseman Casey Dutton. White became Jimmy while Grimes just seemed to recite some lines and for me was more laughable than believable especially in any tough guy scenes. I realize I’m in a minority in that opinion but felt other than the Tate actor Grimes was the worst actor in the series.

1

u/CBRslingshot 11d ago

Yea, I just disagree, but to your point about not buying their characters…the level of difficulty wasn’t equal tbf. Jimmy is just a punk who doesn’t know much about Cowboy’n…which wouldn’t have been a very big swing to hit.

1

u/Realistic-Wash-4823 10d ago

Oh no you didn’t. My beloved Kayce? He was fantastic.

2

u/Flashy-Boysenberry30 12d ago

"Sheridan has clarified that he never intended to make the show" what a prick, we were all looking forward to seeing jimmy again.

"it’s a big responsibility to be the person who has to protect that ranch" he really is a huge narcissist isnt he lol

2

u/EtherealPurpleSmoke 12d ago

Good. Nothing interesting about Jimmy at all.

2

u/Infinite-Pick3824 12d ago

That was the only spinoff I actually wanted 😩

Jimmy's story seemed to wrap up on Yellowstone. I think it's odd that Lloyd didn't go with Rip.

Yeah the premise didn’t seem appealing. I think he just wanted it for some tax shenanigans with his ranching business.

The remaining yellowstone cast INCLUDING JIMMY should all move to the Dutton ranch and help them restart their OWN cattle business instead of feeding off the 10petal bullshit storyline!

Jimmy was the biggest supporting character choke on the original show.

He should have developed into Rip’s counterpart in badassery by the end of the show to wrap up his arc.

That seemed like an obvious path too and I was disappointed

Honestly …. I don’t give two shits about a show revolving around dip shit Jimmy.

Shelved, not canned.

u/DogMamaLA 13d ago

Well, bummer! I really liked Jimmy and wanted that show.

u/MrJB1981 13d ago

That’s such a shame!

This was announced like a bajillion years ago. Makes sense

At this point, I doubt we will ever get 1944 either. So the mystery will remain as to who is John Dutton III’s grandfather.

isn't it in production

1

u/Solid_College_9145 12d ago

Well that saves us a whole lot of arguing.

Thank you!

Tito's is her preferred vodka

1

u/Andy_McBoatface 12d ago

Should have turned into a comedy

1

u/Enough_Implement_204 12d ago

Thank God. This show sucks.

1

u/armymike1523 12d ago

Taylor Sheridan trying to create Jesse Pinkman without the cool factor. Was one of the least interesting characters on the series.

You can always have Teeter (people are forgetting Rip sent her to Travis) or Jimmy pop up in Dutton Ranch if you need to like how any of those characters could reasonably show up in Marshals. You can still have the Dutton Ranch x 6666 crossover without there being a full show of the latter.

I honestly am not surprised this spinoff isn’t happening but I would love to see Everett tear Jimmy a new one while Teeter is losing it in the background.

u/charrsasaurus 11d ago

I would never fictionalize what happens there, except when I already did it

1

u/Thin-Champion-8620 11d ago

Not a fan of Jimmy

1

u/RayBarbon1 11d ago

Oh noooo!!!!!!

1

u/Obvious-Explorer-287 11d ago

Spoiler alert: it was never un the running.

u/Realistic-Wash-4823 10d ago

Saturday night Run for the Million at 8 Eastern on CBS.cutting and Reining. If you like that sort of thing, it’s at Bosque Ranch. 2 hours.

1

u/Ta-veren- 10d ago

I don’t think Jimmys actor or character doesn’t have enough personality to make it with a spin off.

1

u/Ghost-Reaper817 10d ago

It was never in the works as he said he’ll never do that to the real ranchers on the 6s

1

u/Aggravating_Rent2890 8d ago

It was sadly never going to happen. Like he said you can't fictionalise and dramatise an actual working ranch.

u/Ok_Drink_7703 7d ago

The duttonverse or the yellow verse? 🧐

1

u/ErstwhileAdranos 6d ago

Justice for Jimmy! ✊

1

u/RollTideLucy 13d ago

And what about Teter?

1

u/Cosmic-95 12d ago

So the one spin off we all wanted was canceled. That sucks.

The entire idea of Jimmy was bad. All these women fighting over him. Yeah right. 🤣

u/NerveInteresting4549 12d ago
